KEXP

This app is great if you hear a song on KEXP & want to know who it's by. That's all the app is good for, & I do use it for that. But! App doesn't work if you're using your phone for anything else! If you have any other app or window open, it stops playing after a few seconds. Since streaming is the primary reason to use the app, the fact you can't stream from the app unless you set your phone down & walk away from it makes it pretty much useless. Bummer.

This is an app for the greatest radio station in the world. Unfortunately, it constantly interrupts right in the middle of the music( usually a song I am really enjoying) to play an advertisement. It's really frustrating.

KEXP is the best way to hear new music. Wonderful DJs and a wide variety of music. I've been a listener for well over a decade. My only gripe with this app is that when using Chromecast it doesn't show the metadata or art like the web stream.

The latest version of the app is outstanding. It's super smooth and streams really well. I use it to catch up on past shows through the streaming archives. You can pause or switch between programs and it keeps your place.

Love the app and the archive feature. However with the latest update, song display does not update in either of my cars. It displays what was playing when I started the app but never updates. This makes me go to the app frequently while driving. However it updates on my watch correctly.

Great app. Love the playlist and streaming archive though wish the archives stayed up a little longer but maybe that has to do with FCC rules or something. Really like the favorite function for songs you like.

KEXP is the best radio station especially for discovering new music. Been donating to them for years. This app does the station justice. Easy to use, easy to find shows, and that song you just heard.

Does exactly what I want and does it well. Shows the currently playing song in the notification controls, works with Chromecast, and isn't bloated with lots of extraneous features.

Best radio I've ever discovered! Thank you so much. It literally changed my mind to a certain extent. Especially with the Pacific Notions. I would also definitely like to have those shows offline in the future.

Even when facebook is slow tonight due to restricted data speed by data peovider, this app is playing songs without any pauses. Immediately in love with this radio station app, KEXP! Just Wow! ❤✴️😊🙂🌹

Outstanding app for discovering new music. It has a touch of more mainstream stuff but definitely has an inclination to indie music and is great for discovering new music.

Stream constantly drops. It works great in a web browser, just not in the app. Seems like maybe a different stream is being used here vs those on the website..

I'd like if they could boost the signal for more volume. otherwise it's a reliable app for the best radio station in the universe

Forget about Spotify's algorithms. The KEXP app is hands down the best way to discover interesting music.

This is by far the best independent radio station out there! Although the bitrate of songs is a bit low the content these guys put out is unparalleled! Amazing stuff you guys. Keep rocking. Also, Cheryll Waters will you marry me?

I dont usually rate apps, but this one is 5 stars easy. Great channel. Love Cheryl Waters. Missed a band I like on her show and was able to play it later that day. Very cool.

Good app for a great station. But why does it have to be so huge? Almost half a Gig!

It plays the music, which is the most important thing, of course. Nothing else works, e.g. the play list

Love this radio station, esp the morning show with John Richards, always a great mix of music.

Great app with amazing archives. Only downside is that it will stop playing randomly.
