Keystone Kapers - Retro Game
Keystone Kapers is based on the famous Atari 2600, it was published by Activision on 1983.Keystone Kapers Android is here to bring back that childhood memory.
Ever wanted to be a "Kop"? Keystone Kapers gives you a chance at just that, putting you in control of Officer Kelly who is in hot pursuit of Harry Hooligan in this fun platform game from Activision. It will not be an easy quest as department store hazards like fast moving shopping carts, biplanes, cathedral radios and beachballs will attempt to hinder your progress as you try to catch up with the krook. A level ends after you catch the krook, and as you progress further it gets harder to keep up with him. You also have a time limit in which to catch the krook and colliding with obstacles will dock nine seconds from your time limit! Run into the biplanes or run out of time and you will loose one of your kops!

Just like what has already been said. Great game, but tiny controls. Not sure if im not pushing them or just not working. Ill just stick to my 2600 and play the real thing
Very good, but control on asus padfone lock every time and I need realease button and press again to continue run.
If I remember, the cop made a cool noise with his footsteps as he moved. I don't see a point in playing without that
Never mind the haters. I used to play keystones kapers on my old Atari 2600 and Commodore 64 back in the 1980s. Works surprisingly well on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8. 5 stars deserved
Faithful to the original but controls are small and fiddly. 99% of the time you lose a life when you miss the tiny controls.
The screen buttons doesn't work properly. They are too small and sometimes I press it to jump and it doesn't, then I lose.
I had this game in the 80's. It actually plays better on the tablet. Kudos and thanks for the memories.
On newer high-res phones, the D-pad is tiny and practically unusable. The premise, however, is solid. This is a great game which brings back many memories.
We need bigger controls and more sensitive it's kind of annoying the police won't do what you need him to do

The control scheme is pretty wonky on this game, but I did enjoy the nostalgic aspect.
Nice port of the old game but it's hard to hit the down button and is so frustrating.
If they fixed the controllers, this game would be a 5 star !!! I read other reviews and thought how bad can they be? Well, wait until you have to duck under the airplane...that's near impossible when the down button barely works. Plus you have to keep your eye on your right finger, so it's perfectly over the jump button. Even though there's 2 buttons, it makes no difference... Lol... Getting on and off the elevator is a challenge in itself.... Hehehe... I had such high hopes for this game. FIX CONTROLS !!!
Controls are small and not sensetive at all. It's a lovely old Atari game but controls are baaaaaaaddd!! Very awkward control buttons. Fix. Have u ever played ur own game , developers???
Game buttons/controller need to be larger and bigger. Other than that it is awesome

A good port of the game just needs to fit the screen and have the complete set of sounds

I know this is retro but it is soooooooo boring. It needs more levels, more places, more villains to catch. It is very boring and it is a waste of time downloading. The reason I put 2 stars not 1 is because it is alright the first time you try it but the second tine is boring. Sorry.
