This app is the complete opposite of what is advertised. It freezes and has a lot of bugs. All the steps of how to place the order are quite laid out and easy but placing it? Nope. All you get is malfunction after malfunction. I suggest everyone just goes to the restaurant instead of ordering online.
just a more concise way of getting food through the KFC portal than having to go online.. saving all your favourite items makes it even easier. Especially when I'm a person that works at one
When adding anything to your cart that has a pop-up menu, it automatically takes you to your cart so you have to reload the menu each time you want to add something else... It's the same with the website, very annoying, but the app works well in all its other aspects
It would be great if the developers could add a check to see if drivers are available BEFORE you order, not when you are busy checking out. Edit: Changed review from a 3 to a 1 after receiving 37 sms notifications during my order.
I am so annoyed because the app keeps taking me back to the 1st page when I'm about to pay. My lunch is almost over. I've been trying to use the app past 30minutes. It's so annoying
The app is very slow. Only card payment worked. Zapper did not work. Samsung pay did not work. Needs improvement
Trying to sign up and the app insist my confirm email field is not the same as email field. I cannot press continue. What a waste of download data.
the app is not user friendly and you only have a 'Pay now' payment option. you should have other options such as cash or card in delivery like the Debonairs App.
App Works well. Delivery is fast. Would like a cutomize option on the food. For example. I like me snack burgers with cheese and zinger sauce. That is not a option on the app, I have to go into a store to get that. Other that that. No problems with the app. Add a customize option and I will change fron 4 stars to 5.
I would not recommend using this app or service. Whenever I order. Delivery is either not available, my order gets canceled or I'm told the driver refused to deliver "I'm too far" yet the app chose the restaurant as being closest to me. I've tried to give second and third chances but I've reached my limit for disappointment
I ordered for delivery on the App from KFC Akasia. The 'Track Order' option doesn't work, all the telephone numbers on the site doesn't exist. I was happy that a call came to me 49min later from delivery guy.
This app has been a nightmare. I have made orders for delivery, once order has been completed and the money taken off my account then it tells me there was a problem and have to try again. And the only way to get the money back is through dealing with customer service which is so frustrating. I would give this app negative stars if I could. Kfc if you see this just know you have lost a loyal customer due to these experiences.Take the app down if it doesn't work, so more people don't face this.
It's the worst app ever. I made an online delivery purchase, the payment went through and then I get a notification saying there aren't any drivers and that my order was canceled. Then when I emailed, it took about a week to get a reply from them and to top things off I still haven't received my refund.
There were no drivers available to fetch my order, but no one told me this. I contacted the support team and they kept telling me that they don't have q driver's number so I must basically wait to be contacted. I expected them to contact the store to do a follow up. Four hours later, I still did not get a driver and I had to order an uber to fetch my order. It's a convenient app, but has lack of information on issues or communication to customers. Needs work, get examples from Mr. D food app.
If I could give them a minus 5 I would but 1 star is the lowest I can go. This app works when it wants to, quite like the people who work for KFC south Africa. Yesterday I finally managed to get an order to go through and when the food was on its way I was so happy... Then suddenly, nothing no food, no message just silence. I then emailed, messaged, did everything I could to get some service. Alas, they canceled my on route order for some reason, no explanation and no remorse. Disgusting
I ordered using the app and paid. The last notification I got was my order had left the store. I tried tracking my order but it then said order delivered without even telling me the order had arrived. Tried lodging a complaint via call but was told they would get back to me. I'm still waiting, with no feedback. Money down the drain!
They don't deliver anywhere. They debit your account and then fail to deliver and tell you it will take 7 to 10 days to reimburse. When they would have instantly debited you. Then they will opt to give you a voucher that requires you to go the shop to get the purchased food. Kfc is not ready to have an app. It's disappointing really disappointed with the service
Got my order after waiting some time. The App, oh dear, it needs some serious CODING. The app must have different options to pay. And for some reason the address comes out incorrect after making a payment. Please fix these little issues, I doubt if I'll use the app again.
Theft and terrible service. Order was sealed when delivered but had items missing. So the KFC made the issue. When I attempted to report it, I was told I would get a voucher, yet. No voucher. Before I could complain more about the issue since the promo item was not delivered, the chat just closed. Why????
I used to be able to make an order without any problems. Now the app freezes and logs me out without warning, and when it does eventually go through, prices have gone up 😡. It's really frustrating
This is still work in progress, sometimes the app crashes, or get stuck and keep on popping up an apology message, but I trust that with a few updates it's going to be great.
App is just terrible. Also, claiming it's 'free delivery' but all the prices are at least 10% higher when using the delivery option is not free delivery.
Absolutely pathetic service. Do not waste your money. My order took over an hour, the customer service representative (text) just couldn't be bothered to track my order. We eventually called KFC Customer service who happened to be just as useless at tracking the order. We eventually requested that our order be canceled as it was taking way too long. Incredibly disappointing service from KFC. 👎No stars from me!! (1 only because it wouldn't allow me to post my review without at least one star)
This app is trash, I've been trying to use it for over a month but it doesn't allow delivery to my place which is literally 5 mins away from the kfc restaurant. 3 days ago I was lucky enough for my order to go through and after waiting 3hours for my order it never arrived and they took my money. When I called customer support they did not to care and till today they haven't refunded my money they just keep referring me to different case agents, even my airtime is gone from calling them.🤧😩
The ap really needs to move the screen up when a keyboard is presented. Secondly customer service is non existent, if your order is wrong good luck in getting a response from the online chat.
Pathetic! I've never been able to successfully place through an order for delivery on this app for about a month now. Everytime I add something to my cart an error keeps popping up saying that I must try again but these items are indeed added into the cart. When clicking on checkout, it offers you an add on, usually I just click on "No thanks" and it takes me through to complete my payment. This isn't happening any more. It keeps looping me back to the home screen!! 0 out of 10👎🏼
A great concept that has been poorly executed: The app itself needs a lot more polishing, the contact details for drivers don't work, drivers don't follow the delivery orders, say they'll take 30 mins but arrives after an hour, items are sometimes missing and support just doesn't bother to respond to your emails when you bring it to their attention. The app has some great deals that can't be found elsewhere but not good enough to make up for the poor service and experience using it.
Horrible experience with this app I can never collect from anyway when I need to order online. When you try to contact them you can't I've had so many issues and called and it's never been solved.
If i could give 0 i would. Don't waste your time. Been trying for weeks now just to sign up but the app keeps trying to send an OTP that never comes. I have checked spam, disabled spam protection etc. The app/service is just garbage.
App is a nightmare. Can't add unit numbers for delivery, can't choose stores for collection. Prices are higher on the delivery option, about 10% higher in addition to delivery fee. So the free delivery is a farce. Also can't add stuff to cart. The Start Order button doesn't work either. What a nightmare, the UX is very poor
