Very slow to load. Also, just not very well designed. Hard to find things that you are looking for. It has now been a few weeks and things he have not improved. Not everyone in your viewing area is able to get super fast internet. Slow loading of app. Still my overall worst complaint. Too many videos is 2nd.
Up until the latest update it was good. Now everytime I click on a news alert, I can read half the article and then phone says that "kfvs12 keeps stopping". I get choices to close it, app info, and send feedback. It doesnt seem to happen when I open the app and view articles that way. Just when clicking on an alert. Galaxy s9
Love the weather app, but the news never works from the notifications. Click on a notification and it will not load. If it does load it runs continuous adds. Hoping it gets updated soon or it will be deleted.
One star because constantly it will notify me 2 to 3 times about the same articles in my android notifications (no thanks) . I also hate how after reading an article the "back button" just refreshes the page instead of going back to KFVS home screen. I think it's a janky app. Sorry but not sorry. First impressions last forever. I've also had articles disappear and me go back to KFVS home screen WHILE I'm reading... And this is my 3rd phone with the KFVS app... Same issues nothing new...
I have this app downloaded to my Roku TV. I do enjoy watching the local news. However. This app continually cuts off the end of the story. They can be in the middle of a sentence and it cuts them off. It's very annoying. It's not a one-time thing. It is constant. I hope that you can repair this at some point.
Deleted the app . It showed notifications fine You click on it . Go to story it show it for a second and then go blank white screen . Sent a message to their feedback and still no change . Terrible app
Always honest and I love the people on there I have been watching this news for wow 10-15 years and I won't watch nothing else I love them on there and you're the most honest people there is love each and every one of you Mary stags perryville Missouri God bless all of you I watch it clear up till 10:00 at night I like seeing them two people on the night news they're great people each and every one of you and during the day I can't remember all the names but I know your faces
Can't get to load news page half the time
I used to like this app, but it has totally went to pot!!! If you missed a broadcast like the breakfast show they would let you replay it all until the noon heartland news came on, but now they put on some local news out of Alabama that we aren't even interested in. What kind of crazy is that!!!
Hate the new update. Ridiculous amount of self serving ads. Hard to navigate. Not user friendly. I will say when I voiced my displeasure I received a very nice reply from management. I did uninstall.
just uploaded to my new tablet i bought at walmsrt 3 week ago. try using it with hughnet and vidoe will not load. this app wont work correctly on my roku tv with centerylink. on the tv i see comercials and hear news crew talking or I'll see news crew and no sound. I though it was the junky internet at home but now, after loading to tablet, I see its the news app thats junk. I hope they fix it but right now im unistalling this from my tablet.its useless....
To many commercials now ,probably will uninstall this app
Opened my channel 12 news app to find a mess. You should of gave us the option to update to your new version, not force it on us. I'm deleting your new version, don't like it, at all.
After they refreshed the app recently, video doesn't playback properly. The new UI is hard to follow and visually cluttered.
I love KFVS! My hometown news one can carry in my pocket. Sometimes the ads are loud and annoying though. Also, often in morning, the camera is facing a wall and tv screen, but I can still hear the news.
The only reason this app has a 1 star rating is because I don't have the option of 0. There are no options for the video articles,you have to watch the video because there is no story to read. There are many times when I can't watch the videos but could read them.
Can't see the video when you rotate the phone so I can't watch the news. Plus the latest breaking stories aren't on the app but can be found on the website itself. I don't understand that.
What's up with having to watch a video clip before it will even load at all now??? And if I wanted to WATCH the news, I'd turn on my TV. Go back to just the articles please and not EVERYONE lives in Southern Illinois :(
I love this app, especially when I can have on SD CARD. I don't have room on phone unless it on SD CARD. .. if it doesn't go back to that then I'll have to delete it and I really don't want to do that. So please put back on SD CARD !!! I rated 3 stars but if you put back on SD CARD I'll rate 5 stars!!!
This app doesn't work good. While reading a story it just disappears. The old version worked great.
After update same as others...It wouldn't load! I uninstalled then reinstalled works fine now. Might help others thought I'd let them know.
Need to be able to stream via Chromecast. We're over in southern Illinois and Dish doesn't carry Channel 12 . Would love to stream the news from Cape on a larger screen.
Issue with app blanking out white constantly.. Then have to restart app to begging to scroll down again.. Fix please... Edit to one star.. And deleting app, can't use it anymore without problems
tried to use during power outage, the "live streaming" was 2 hrs old. not useful at ALL.
Always drops the news article a few lines into the story. Miss the old format!!!!
this app is horrible. I switched to weather bug. I depended heavy on th old weather app......switch back please.
Since the new update it looks like a wreck jumbled big words your eyes can't focus half the time the video of the story won't play and no words are provide so nope cant use this no version worth a hoot has just about turned me off from KFVS news all together just leave the weather alone it still works atleast
Not as good as the former app. Articles sometimes load and other times blink out and causes you to go back to the main screen. Same articles over and over. Example: you scroll down through the first few stories and then as you keep scrolling down they just repeat and repeat. World events are also sparsely covered if at all. 1 star for the performace. Wish I could go back to the previous version.
