I love this App so much! It has saved me in many situations, such as forgetting where I parked. The GPS function allows you to locate where you parked before you go out looking around for your car. Auto start scheduling function is the best. Schedule you car to turn on in the morning to warm up in the winter or cool down your car before you even get to the car. It's doesn't even matter how far away you parked, unlike the normal keyfob where you need to be like 50 feet away. Definitely worth it!

I do love the app as far as the vehicle options go but for making your payment trying to get into your account. 9 times out of 10 trying to get to my account it just sits there and spins. It is very annoying and full payments not going through having to make a couple different payments, also very annoying. Please fix.

The GPS doesn't work all the time, and yes it goes off of a Verizon towers and I have Verizon cell phone service, so I understand the service and where it's sketchy and the vehicle is less than a year old. Also the app doesn't work after 5 days it goes dormant so if you leave your car sit (ie Airport) won't start, also doesn't keep you logged in after you leave the app. Subpar to the Ford app which is free for 5 years, this app has a charge after 1 year.

App was good until this last update. There's constantly a message saying they're experiencing issues and some functions may not work. My remote start is struggling and that's most important. Please correct. Also, can you please add an option to run the vehicle 5-10 mins longer? It can't be good on the engine to keep restarting during my cold winter months in NY.

It hasn't worked since the start of the new year. It just spins. Can't log in or anything of the sort. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared phone memory and none of that worked. And just logged in and it has my previous car, not the current one. 🙃 Edit: Got logged into my current car and it was great for those few freezing months. But now we have to pay for the perks that were the reason why I brought the car (remote start/lock/unlock features). Why am I paying extra to remote start?

The app works great and I love the new color scheme. It's easy to tell if the doors are locked/unlocked and whether it is charging or not. I primarily use it to initiate or stop a charge, but have also used it to lock/ unlock remotely and even once to find my car in a crowded parking lot after a game. I also love the notifications. My wife had the car the other day and I received a notice that the doors were left unlocked. A quick text to verify with her and I was able to lock them remotely.

They have been "experiencing difficulties" for the last three days. My car had been stuck on valet mode for three days! This is unacceptable! I've updated the app, uninstalled/reinstalled, even tried disabling it through the car. Valet mode screen pops up across map blocking the directions. So inconvenient.

Remote start via the app is not working. Gave it a few minutes but never started the car. Now when I go into the app for anything it says "We are experiencing difficulties with our systems and some functionality might not be available. We regret the inconvenience caused". App has latest update and the car is the K5 GT line. Any suggestions?

Pretty nifty. It's not fast, and can only accept one command every 60 to 90 seconds, but it does get the job done. Seems like this service is reasonably priced, depending on what you want, but overall, it functions well. I particularly like the geo fence alerts, speed alerts and real time GPS location.

The Remote Schedule option on app does not work. I have to go through the website to update or turn off the scheduled remote start. Still takes forever to start my car, even when sending the come standing close to car. Some times, it won't process request and tells me to move my car. This app is frustrating!!

The user interface is really confusing and busy and full of vague terms. The error messages it gives are horrible (f.ex. "Remote commands may not work; several conditions required to execute them are not met"). Really needs a user interaction designer. For some reason the European version of the app is much nicer looking.

This app is truly an embarrassment. The layout is clunky and clumsy, and the remote commands work maybe 1 out of 10 times. They typically just time out. Since I've had this app it has displayed an apology banner about issues and outages. Thought it would be a simple issue fixed in a day. Nope, it's been several days now and the app doesn't work. 58,000 dollar car with the crappiest app. Nice.

So, where do I start...my app hasn't been working for about 4 days and it keeps saying they are having problems and that some feature won't work. Well, that is the entire app! I can only log in and that's it. I'm paying for the service to remote start my car because they couldn't actually put it on my keyfob because they wanted me to pay to use the feature I have on my car which was in my paying for my car. I'm honestly really frustrated and so tired of issues nonstop with trying to use this!

Remote start / lock app. As a Kia consumer, I've been using the app since it dates back to UVO Link, it's slowly improved to say the least. Recently added auto lock on remote start which is amazing. The remote start and remote unlock takes some time, usually a minute or two to start or lock/unlock. My advice to Kia would be continue to improve on the speed of the app, find ways to identify your phone when getting into the car so you won't need a key. Good app, and a must for any kia owner.

When it works, it's fine. Bought a $45,000 car, and was shown the app, which was a big feature, they did not however, tell me it would cost $200 a year after the first year. Also, you cannot upgrade your subscription from the app, it just now tells me the features aren't in my package and a button to "learn more."

No issues at all with the app. My issue is with the subscription. After the first year you have to pay for it. Personally, I think the subscription for new car owners should be standard as long as you own the vehicle. Particularly when you spent $40K. Hate that they are "Nickle and diming" new car owners.

This is really frustrating. What's the point having an app that doesn't work at all. Even the online one sucks. Says it's refreshed but won't lock, unlock start, etc. Says there is 0 miles on the vehicle when there is over 100 miles. This app/online is GARBAGE!!!!! The developers need to get with Onstar and ask for help to improve Kia connect. Get rid of it or hire people that know what they are doing.

Just like another review, I cannot log in. It just keeps spinning. Cleared cache, restarted the phone. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Nothing works. Right now I'm on the trial, but I sure am not going to pay for this if this continues. Edit: This only lasted for a day for whatever reason. The next day I tried and I was able to log in.

I overall like the app and the ease of things. I am however tired of seeing the trouble with the systems error constantly while using the app. I get it. Have it as a removable pop up. It's in the damn way. Idk what all you gotta do but you make enough money charging people for this service to fix your servers.

It doesnt always work. Its nice to have when im not sitting waiting for it to load for 10 minutes. I wouldnt renew or pay for it ever. Not really worth all that. I DO appreciate the start, and lock feature and that the settings can be adjusted for the driver.

there were periods of a week that the app didn't work at all during the initial free trial. it's also a little scummy that the only way my sorento will turn on with any options is the app, when I paid for the key fob start feature. every time you use the fob it just sets it to 72, no heated seats or wheel, no matter the way you had it set when you parked it. my gf's Ford of a lower trim model at least starts up the way it was parked when she uses the remote start. I'd never pay for the app.

it works most of the time. Some options aren't available while moving and I couldn't get it to find the local gas prices. I don't like that i have to hit confirm every time I start the vehicle. Lock feature in the app was unsuccessful saying door might be open but then worked on the second try. The first screen should display more info about what I'm listening to without having to open up the radio or media button. Steering wheel only cycles through favorite stations. Pretty cool though!

Very possibly because i don't have 5G, but the response of this app is pathetically slow. Doesn't matter how close i stand, or if i'm using wifi and standing right next to my router. Would be a nightmare if the smart key was missing or dead took 2 full minutes to shut off the engine after finally turning it on. Eek. A progress bar would be a good idea too, to at least tell if anything is happening. Standing there hitting the button repeatedly negates the whole purpose and intention of the feat

This app is pretty slow to react, and oftentimes doesn't work. Lots of failed requests, with no realm explanation why. I'm currently plugged into slow 120v charging. It is going to take roughly 25 hours to charge, yet the app thinks it will be done in 4 hours and 40 minutes. I realize that 120v is the slowest way to charge, and that is fine. The problem is the app is calculating incorrectly. Perhaps I have a setting wrong, but if that is the case, finding a way to change it is difficult.

The app looks nice and useful but I need the ability to turn on and off heated and cooled seats. I have a 2022 ev6 gt line and that feature is missing on it while my 2020 sonata has it. Please add this feature. It is a must for me.

The app appears to work fine but does this annoying thing where you get scrolled down to the very bottom of the summary/dashboard page after tapping on anything. You have to scroll back up over and over.

Good app. Takes a little bit to connect to the vehicle, and after the new update it doesn't show your car in the color you actually have :( Thought that was a nice touch. Other than that it's a good design

Just awful!! I just purchased my Kia on 4/16. Due to "technical issues" the 1st 2 days it wouldn't even let me create the account. These last 3 days it won't let me do anything! I can't lock/unlock, restart, find my location, refresh my status,etc. No wonder it's free for the first year, who would pay for this service when it's completely useless?

Works well...when it works. Unfortunately, this app incurs a great deal of connectivity issues. Worked fine this am, now it can't find the servers after being updated about a week ago 😑. Be prepared to be frustrated. Often.

Last update, can't open the app. Just loads forever and keeps telling me to check my network connection...thats not the problem. Also could use a few more minutes on remote start running time!
