Kickboxing Workout Trainer

Push yourself during your kickboxing workouts with an app that calls out combos and has no sympathy for how tired you are. Ruckus calls out hit combinations like “jab cross hook” in a variety of voices for you to land on the punchbag.
=================Features=================

- Calls out hits to land on the punchbag
- Timer with configurable options like rounds, pause duration, difficulty and much more
- Workouts are stored and can be shared with graphs to view your progress
- Help section with videos on how to do the moves and use the app

Ruckus doesn't just have to be used for kickboxing it can also be used for mma, boxing, muay thai and so on. You can configure what types of moves get called out by the app, for example disabling kicks from being called out.

As Ruckus is a round timer that will optionally call out hits you can also use it as:

- Workout timer
- Sparring timer
- Personal kickboxing trainer (calling out hits)
- Shadow boxing trainer (with hit callouts if you don’t have a punchbag)

Once you have finished a workout you can save it or share it on social media. You can see how many hits you landed and how many rounds / how long the workout was in total. Ruckus also shows you how many energy points
* you earn for a workout. The number is similar to calories but a bit more like effort points as you get more points for harder moves like jumping kicks for example. In the workout section of the app there is also a graph displaying the amount of hits you landed for the last 10 workouts to give you an idea of your progress.

The help section of the app contains videos about how to use the app, for example running music in the background. And some examples of how to do the moves that are called if you are new to kickboxing completely.

Very good, the combos are excellent, add knee strikes to the dirty moves (they go hand in hand with elbows at close range) and I'd give it a solid 5 rating. Add the ability to modulate frequency of various callouts so there would be a compelling reason to save workouts and upgrading to the paid version would be a no brainer.

I've been kickboxing with a club for two years now and always find it hard to motivate myself when working solo on a punchbag. This is perfect. Only thing that would make it better would be the ability of turn on and off punches. You can already do this with more difficult moves, such as spinning kicks, but it would be great to see it for more basic moves. I have injuries to both arms which means punches aren't possible for me at the moment, so it'd be great to be able to turn off punches.

Pros: does both punches and kicks which is what I've been looking for. Best one I've seen thus far. Feedback: Would like to be able to program specific movements/strikes (e.g. sprawl, front or rear knee) and combos (2 or 3 hooks) or the app to call out during the workout. I've kinda made modifications by having the special moves be other moves but that can be mentally fatiguing to remember It would be nice to set the ratio between kicks and punches as the kicks don't happen as frequently as I'd like. Looking forward to seeing how this app evolves

Getting started I would have liked to have been able to have had longer between the commands, but I caught on quickly enough to keep up. Found this super useful to keep me on task and focused during my workout. Was nice to not be counting jab reps to 100 for once...

Has all option for a DIY student. Custom workouts will make this app the best in play store. Looking forward..

I think I was dupped into buying the iOS version so that I could include upper cuts in my workout routine, but the iOS version ignores all settings and calls everything (despite having them turned off) whether you have the room to do them or not. Now I've purchased both iOS and Android versions and neither gives you a complete, functional feature set.

I LOVE this app!!! It's like being in class again without the wait times or expense of it all. I am so glad that I found it, my only wish is that I found it sooner.

I need more volume from the commands. If I put music on I can't hear the commands.

Downloaded the free version to see if i would buy the full version. I wasnt impressed with the sound quality. Unable to change the voice feature in the app as this option can only be changed in the Pro version. Also did not see anything were it shows you the moves
