Kids ABC Letters
The game teaches the alphabet to the children one set of letters at a time. We split the alphabet into seven sets: ABC, DEF, GHIJ, KLMN, OPQR, STUV, WXYZ. As the children complete the activities for a particular letter set, they build a specific boat. This gives them motivation to play and learn.
This app does not teach the phonetic sounds that the alphabet letters make. Knowing how the letters are pronounced is a separate educational goal, which is covered in Intellijoy's separate app, Kids ABC Phonics. Including phonics in this app would detract from the focus and delight of this game.
This game covers seven activities:
✔ Naming Letters: A delightful way for kids to learn the names and appearances of each ABC alphabet letter at their own pace.✔ Forming Letters: Kids assemble alphabet letters with colorful puzzle pieces to recall the familiar letters they've learned.✔ Recognizing Letters: Fishing for alphabet fish as they swim by reinforces letter familiarity and its pronunciation.✔ Identifying Letters in Context: This simple game teaches kids to recognize the alphabet letters as they appear in words. As a result, they learn that words are made up of letters. ✔ Matching Upper Case to Lower Case Letters: This activity reinforces that each letter has two variations; one upper and one lower case letter. The child will enjoy matching the letters to each other to build a raft. ✔ Distinguish between Upper Case and Lower Case Letters: Listen and search for the upper case or lower case letter and toss it to the dolphin for some fun! ✔ Ordering the ABC's: The child explores the deep sea to find letter-coins, and uses these to create a segment of four letters in a row within the alphabet.
Kids ABC Letters is the first app in our Reading Curriculum Series. It is followed by Kids ABC Trains, Kids ABC Phonics, Kids Learn to Read, and Kids Sight Words.

Seems decent so far. Just played to test the abc raft bug, mentioned in other reviews. No issues here.
Son made it to the raft and can't progress.
Daughter loves it but has a raft bug and gets stuck
Hi, there is a bug at the raft stage of this - the little cat doesn't jump on the raft so can't go any further in game...
Paid over $4 and the app doesn't work as well as the free version. The game stopped working at the first boat with the letters abc. There is a section where you have to build a raft with the letters then theres a cat thats supposed to take off on the raft and move you on to the next game but thats where it gets stuck. Very disappointed. If it cant be fixed I want a refund.
There is a bug in the scene where the cat builds a log raft. Just sits there idle.
Since the last update, almost a year ago, my kids have been unable to play this game. There is a glitch on the part where you build a raft and you can't get past it. I emailed intellijoy months ago about it and they said they would try to recreate the problem so they could fix it...I just downloaded the game again today, and it's the same issue. Please fix! I use Android phones and my kids really love this game...when it works. Thank you.
Emailed Intellijoy twice to ask question if $2.99 was one time fee or monthly. I purchased two apps (Kids ABC Letters and Kids Learn to Read) and with 12 hrs asked if fee was recurring, if so, I wanted to cancel immediately but no one responded. That was 3 weeks ago. Or do I just uninstall to not be charged another fee??

My 2 1/2 year old loves this educational app.
My 3 year old didn't want to learn the alphabet till I came across this game. In 1 week he now runs around pointing out all the letters and even is telling me if they are upper or lower. The game is successful but I will report 1 bug. After he completes the last ship and we reset it to start all over again we click ABC and map is cleared. We click to learn the letters and the gold bar is filled and no letters or arrows display to even let him progress. I have to delete and reinstall to get pass the bugs.
Educational and fun
I'm trying to get this app working again how my grandson was using it as he is not happy AT ALL!
My toddler loved this game but he doesn't understand the new activity map and gets very very upset... He's barely 2 years old. REALLY need a setting to disable the map. major changes like that to a child's game are not cool :(
Help! With the new update the game gets stuck on the raft mini game. Now we are at a stand still.
Simple letter identification doesn't need to require holding and moving things. Just point and push. Little kids might find this difficult to master due to over complication.

I will give you a higher reading once the dolphin game is fixed. My daughter wants to play, but the game fits not respond to her command. A real bummer.
