My son enjoys this app because when you get something wrong you don't go backwards to something easier, so he doesn't feel fed up or bad in himself. My son is stronger at maths so I was looking for something enjoyable to build his love for English, I feel I've found it with this app, it's fun and no pressure, so much better for his self esteem, so many teaching apps send a child backwards. He is enjoying it and its lovely to see that, as well as easy to use. Thanks 👍 well worth the money.
I like this app. Our daughter is dyslexic and immediately jumped into the learning and testing which showed her she needed to really pay attention and work to progress. However i don't see scores shown to encourage progress. I would also like the option to have the letters read aloud l (and not) in learning mode.
Great Spelling app. Has learning mode LM & testing mode TM. LM: good for visual/kinetic learners. Shows the spelling of each word at start (& can reshow the word); Has only correct letters to choose from when spelling. TM: harder version. Suggestion: 1) a record of child's progress/%. 2) more than one learning path for more kids 3) needs options eg: USA or UK spelling; number of words in each test; font; group words as families 4) be able to correct own mistakes in LM (particularly last letter)
As for person stating "how serious to take app because practise spelled wrong" . The whole world aint America LOL. THE APP CREATOR IS IN AUSTRALIA. Australia uses the 'S' Americans use the 'C' (Ausi Practise, US is practice). This app is great. My 18 month old has learned many words in 2 months. I say the word 'pen' and he rushes toward our reading chair with great joy. Solid 5 stars. Remember read about the world, study, and never stop learning.
This is a spelling game. Practicing was spelled wrong on the 1st screen. I understand there are typos but a spelling typo out of 6 words or so on the spelling game. It should be checked. I uninstalled because of that. I gave 2 stars instead of one because I'm not sure how the rest of the game was.
I have a hard time using an app for spelling that has a word misspelled out of the gate. "Practise" should be practice. I cannot use this with my students unfortunately because of that.
Great free app , there are plenty of words to learn before having to pay £3 for the full 500. My son really likes it. The only thing I'd improve would be more virtual rewards and prizes like stickers etc. thanks
This app or game but I heard a lot of people saying this game is the best game or app to teach other kids how to spell sometimes I really need to know how to spell something this app just might help me but I don't know nothing about this app so I am going to give it 1 star and after some few days I will check if I like it okay for 5 or 4 start a thank.👍
Your App is great bu there one limitation that is it does not sound when we click on a letter i e while writing PEN it should Pa when we click on Letter P, While clicking on letter E it should sound e, while clicking on letter N it should sould sound na, so that children can learn letter and their joining automatically, with out any external help. I hope you will look into my suggestion.
Easy to use graduates from easy to difficult. Navigating through the levels isnt so clear though.
My almost 6 year old says she likes it because if she doesn't remember how to spell the words she can tap on the picture to see it again and she can have lots of tries. She likes getting the smiley faces.
Increadible experience... It's easier to practice, and had a whole lot of attractive features.
game is good. i really dont agree with having someone with an accent as the one pronouncing the words. the sounding of words comes out differently but i guess how much can i ask from a free game
Looked like it had potential. I had to immediately uninstall because I seen a few words misspelled. I would not trust my child with the app to learn correct spelling.
On one of the buttons, the word practice is spelled incorrectly. It was spelled practise. I didn't even try anything else because of that.
My six year old loved it. Thank you. A great help to school learning. Superb. Very clear and easy to use. Above all, alot of fun.
Bought the expanded version within the app. My kids really enjoy the spelling. They think it's a game!
good way to learn spelling. reinforces learning by repeating the exercises in different ways.
Love the no adds. Simple optional upgrade feature. Very good spelling game!
I have this on my phone but I have downloaded on my laptop and it is not showing upgrade version. im paying for it. why cant I use it on 2 devices?
Really like the system, and not a bad price for animated flash cards.
I love this app it makes reading easier for kids.
Very good app to remember spelling. Objects are steady in app. So good for kids eyes.
My Granddaughters age 4 & 5 have not only learning words but there letters as well. Great !!
sure it could be good, not enough free words to actually be effective. uninstalled.
i like the simplicity of the app. no fancy hurray and gold stars to reward.
great for learning but should include more word that you dont have to buy.
Easy to use. But pronunciation of "jewelry" is incorrect. Please fix it!
It is really helping my 5 yr old brother now he can spell more better thank u but u need to add more words to the app still above all thank you
My three year old loves this game! easy to use, multiple difficulties. I love that it's available offline. We used the free version for a long time, but my kid mastered all the words and was ready for a bigger challenge. Some of the negative reviews are laughable considering my three-year-old can use it without issue. FYI it is in traditional British English, so there are a few minimal spelling and pronunciation variations. For example the way they spell practice with an s instead of c.
