Kijiji Autos: Search Local Ads for New & Used Cars

As a long time power Kijiji user, this version for cars only seems worse than the normal app. When searching many of the filters are useless because so many of the vehicles are listed as having 0km or 1km, even though this is clearly wrong for cars that are 5-10 years old. Makes the whole app fairly useless vs auto trader

I tried to post an ad for my car on Kijiji autos. It wasn't published. I started a chat with Kijiji. They told me they were having technical issues and to try again later. When it still didn't work I started another chat. They told me I "breached their contract" without explanation and ended the chat. Now they refuse to communicate with me.

it needs a button to hide certain listings that show up on your search criteria, but after a closer look, you're not interested in. Hide button.

Kijiji Autos is currently not posting and photos of advertised postings. I've already deleted the app and rebooted my phone. Can we have technical support dive in and see what is going on please?

App seems to run pretty smoothly, easy to use, lots of search filters, though you can't always use it because dealers and other sellers tend not to fill out all the mechanical specs. Not kijiji's fault but it renders the search filters somewhat useless, and you end up having to scroll past hundreds of vehicles that you aren't interested in. Overall better than autotrader.

Can't change password. My new password meets all criteria but it keeps saying "Something went wrong". I've tried dozens of times with different passwords and it won't let me!

This is probably one of the better apps for finding used cars. Filters are great and the Kijiji price analysis is very helpful when determining if the price is fair. My big gripe with this app is concerning my saved cars. The list doesn't automatically remove sold cars, so I just spent the last 30 minutes removing sold cars from years ago. This would be fine if I had the ability to remove all sold cars with "one touch" but no. Lesson learned, I just won't be saving cars anymore.

overall, the app is not bad. It does what it is supposed to, but there are problems with the built in messenger. It does not display all the conversations properly, and takes forever to connect. there should also be a function built in to save search parameters so that i do not have to re-enter them every time i want to check if new cars showed up. In addition, it would be incredibly useful to have a notification pop up everytime a car with my desired search parameters gets listed.

I'm a bit confused with the release of this app. the full/original app was just fine and worked great for searching for vehicles. Read other reviews regarding lack of search options, heavy focus on new. there all correct. my concern is that this app isn't adequate and search results on the original have been severely affected. I'm looking for a ToyotaFJ and theres only 1 within 100k of barrie, I dont think so. unimpressed and disappointed. needs way more development time. was obviously rushed

Works well enough has best selection from what I've seen. However, the notification section (part of the app that tells you a car has come up that meets your critera) appears to break randomly. Some times it just gets stuck loading. Then works fine for a bit. Now it just says something went wrong and to retry. Desktop website works consistantley. Edit: Moved to 2 Stars as app kept sending notifications to use the app more.

Great app cuz it includes info about each model, including what the average selling price of a model considering the year and mileage. Missing the ability to sort results by distance from me, and the ability to select multiple makes in a search. I also wish that it would tell me what city/neighborhood a car is in, and not just the km distance on the results page.

Notification doesn't load anymore. App is becoming an annoying POS.

The app is decent for its first iteration. The UI is clean and easy to use however the filters don't necessarily work as intended. For example if a vendor does not include specific information like # of seats and you input 3 seat capacity, it will rule out vehicles that don't specify even if they meet your criteria. Same goes for cylinders.

Very good. Not great Too many people are looking to get their "lease taken over" As opposed to selling a new or used vehicle.. Also, there is decent amount of filters you can use to narrow down your vehicle search. But after that, it's very limited options you can use to sort the vehicles. But it does the job well.

Great app. All the info needed except sometimes more pics could be included.

Semi useful. Im trying to look for cars across the country. No option for this. I'll stick with car guru or autotrader.

Great selection of cars. but doesn't support our filter well. primarily due to user error. Apply some standards, gear for settings or 3 dots. Would really go a long way in usability. As example I have 47 notifications, and no way to clear or reset. Makes notifications useless. Maybe get your developers to use the app!

Changed password multiple times. Won't accept it. It is incorrect credentials.

You know I am on kijiji not be coz of cars I am here for all kind of items and you force me to see cars to buy one why

Ease of use. User friendly interface and loads vehicles available using this app. My gripe would be that I'm unable to select/copy and paste the text especially whenever I need to translate text in other languages but I'm pretty sure the next update will include this much needed feature....

Great way to find a new or used vehicle. Also a great way to sell your old vehicle. There are a few glitches, for example, I can't access a listing through messages (which we're supposed to be able too) so I have to manually find it again. (Will update when issue resolved)

Love the app! The scale of kijiji with a focus on filters specific for new and used car buyers. Going to be my new go-to time killing app searching for my ideal future ride. Missing a few filters though to bring parity to the kijiji app. Mainly: - keyword search functionality. (i.e. ability to search trims such as Rubicon, Raptor, LTZ, etc) - Number of doors.

Kijiji has the right idea with this app but they need to improve in the advanced search. They need to also fix the filter. If you select low price first, it doesnt work. One of the biggest flaws is when you hit back on yiur search it takes you back to a new search rather than were yiu left off. Fix these things and i think this app is great. Get some ideas from Autotrader. They listened to my ideas and now have an amazing app. This ciuld be a 5 star app.

Kijiji and Kijiji Autos and the app are not cross-platform, you can find and edit your ads only from where you created it. What an inconvenience! On top of that when I put a new ad up, next morning I get an email with statistics of my old ad that has been deleted long ago. What an annoying bummer.

Two major issues with this app 1- when I minimize the app to check something else on my phone it complemently gets rid of my search I was just looking at and I have to start again. 2- you can only look at one make of car at a time in the search function. Should be like autotrader where you can do multiple makes at the same time
