Really getting frustrated with this app. It is getting worse by the day. I love using it to find items to purchase but, When I do a search for anything I give it a certain area to search but it also adds posts from 4 provinces away, I wouldn't really consider that my "extended area".

Listing is good exposure. People don't read the adds. Sometimes wonder about random automated responses to my adds as it seems mighty coincidental that several different people would ask and word the same question. One that is clearly explained in the add then no further followup from these people. Mysteriously they have plain names and have been on kijiji for years, yet have no rating of any kind, nor any history.

I like the app, but I really wish that I could delete the in-app notifications. I have a ton of them piled up on here and no way to remove them it seems.. Also it would be nice if notifications would stop for items that have been removed from my favourites list.

The app has been very horrible as of late. I have been constantly getting posts hundreds of kilometers away, no matter how much I reduce the radius, I'll get a damn post from the other side of the country. On top of that, the app is cluttered with garbage apps. This is one of the worst apps I have ever used, if I had the chance I would give it negative stars

The app does what it's supposed to... Mostly. However the loading time is incredibly slow - takes a few minutes (!) for anything to appear on screen. Pictures take even longer, sometimes do not show up at all. And the accuracy of search results is dismal - no matter what keywords you are using, 80 percent of results are not relevant at all (probably AI suggestions, which is annoying).

Great interface and user friendly! Easy to browse, post and search ads. You can view photos and descriptions and contact sellers via the app or their contact information. If you are a seller it is easy to fill out the fields for postings to post your own ads for buyers to see and contact you. Searching is easy by entering your searches in the search bar or using the categories to browse the app.

Please update the android version. It doesn't load 3/4 of the time and messages don't come through even with push notifications. Content doesn't load unless you refresh 3 or 4 times. Its been 6 months. The app has only gotten worse.

This app and by extension the website function worse than my disabled elderly grandma who has alzheimer and cant walk. Try to save an ad? Nope. Want to browse a category with rampant spam and bot ads? Great. Have to sift through ads that are blatantly miscategorized because the category they go into is again, full of spam? Wonderful. Attempt to login after being logged out for no reason? Truly revolutionary. I'm not spending a dollar on this app but I'm still robbed of my time. Use at own risk

2 years having significant issues with this App on my Galaxy note ultra 20. Keyboard rarely works with in app messages, gets crazy laggy where messages wont load, app freezes. Sometimes doesnt connect for hours. Notice alot of Apps work very poorly on the Samsung Galaxy Notes. You'd think a 2 year old phone they'd fix these bugs..noticeable is how more n more Apps become less compatible with Galaxy Notes

The app itself is extremely unstable and glitchy. Selling stuff is extremely frustrating as most people ask a ton of questions and don't show up you give them an address. And when I look something up I get a bunch of unrelated business ads.

I have had little trouble using this app. and the people have shown up everytime. Some low ballers. They could allow for cloud based pics off of onedrive or google drive. It would make it easier.

The notification feature of this app not working on my Samsung Galaxy S10+. Have thoroughly checked (and rechecked) all relevant 'settings', etc. All 'notifications' settings are all fully turned on. No other apps on this device are exhibiting this problem.

There have been alot of similar competition since kijiji launched but I still find kijiji my goto. I like the features it offers for distance and its easier to shop on than brand name stores...which I only go to if I can't find what I'm looking for or the price is a little high for some sellers. One thing I would love is if sellers made it easier for everybody and always added measurements and year, make and model of electronics where applicable! It's not something I initially did but do now!

I like the way Kijiji allows you to choose areas and distances that I am willing to travel to acquire something and to choose how much locational information to reveal when advertising. The only thing I don't like is how the retail ads are inline with the consumer ads.

Really love Kijiji itself but the app is not the best and is super glitchy. It will not save your contact details, address, or post so you need to type them in again and redo your add most of the time. It also does not save my sign-in info so I have to sign in everytime

The app is OK, but has room for improvement. When I am browsing a page and I press the back button, go back to the home screen, not quit. And give me the ability to permanently block listings. People will list something for sale and list what they would accept in trade. Haha, no, nobody is going to trade that for this, stop listing that. Give me the ability to block individual ads forever

Good app when it works. A few glitches still exist. Sometimes looking through the pictures of an ad takes you to a totally different ad. The review pictures don't match the ad on the "explore" tab, and you can't delete your ads from the "messages" tab even though there is a link there. The app itself serves its purpose, and the customer service is prompt. As a seller it would be great if having a good reputation / rating allowed you to rate buyers who don't show up or waste your time.

I enjoy the app all, though at times, it feels a bit older as far as sites go. But super user-friendly, easy to navigate, and I love the programmable search option. Easy to set up an ad, it asks you to upgrade to a more prominent place for your ad to attract more attention you do not have to do this at all and your ad will post just fine. I have sold so much on kijiji and have never had any issues.

The app is functional, with a few downsides. The review system is good idea in practice, but very few people use it and you can't leave written feedback for sellers. You also cannot note if items are a good value, which would really help categories like electronics and PC components have more realistic pricing. And the built in messaging is slow to update as I usually get an email notification about receiving a message before the app. P. S. As others mentioned, the search doesn't work well.

Frequently shows postings for cities in other provinces even though my search radius or city is set. Cluttered with postings from businesses, filtering "sold by owner" doesn't make much difference. It's much easier to use Kijiji search filters on the website, which is too bad. I like swiping from post to post and looking at item pictures in the app, but with so many irrelevant posts, it's a waste of time. The app works best for posting ads and replying to messages from interested buyers.

Kijiji is great for finding new deals and makes selling products, animals, equipment, etc. easy.🙂It is super easy to use, but it could be easier to use.😏 It would be nicer if one could type in what item they want. Then type in how far of a distance they would actualy drive for the product instead of having to scroll through all these products one isn't going to really get because it's too far of a drive.😁 You know, just a thought🤔🤗

The app freezes on my android and then refreshes the page and you loose what you were searching or looking at, some what annoying. Did try reinstall etc and it still does it.

The messaging inside this app is closer to atrocious. Frequently won't show new messages even after receiving notifications of a new message. I constantly have issues deleting ads through the app.

I have been using this app for 10 years. Recently from last 2 months I am not able to login to the app though I am able to log into the website. Whenever I try, the app says the login credentials are not correct. I am able to login to the website using the same login credentials. Tried changing the password, re installing the app even changed the phone. Still the same result. Raised a support request through website. Nobody got back even after a month. Pathetic service.

The ads have vastly improved, so credit where its due. BUT, search is fundamentally broken and has been for a while now. Despite search radius being set, I still get results from across the country. Filters don't work properly, and results are often unrelated to my search. Disappointed. Update 02/2022. Searching is still fundamentally broken, perhaps even more than before. Despite a 50km search radius, I get results from ON, the US, and even S. America! Ridiculous they haven't patched this yet.
