Kinder - Find Baby Names

Works more seamlessly than some other apps, but preferred it when it was ad sponsored with a wider name selection. Not a ton of names now, and buying additional English names (which I did because the last time we used it there were more options) cost money but added no names to the list. Also, definitely not cool to only charge for non-English names. It would be better to let you select one free pack then charge for additional packs...but they should still add names if you pay for them!

Great concept and I do like being able to pick search names from different countries, and love seeing matches with my fiance, but mine crashes every time I open it. I may get the option to like or reject one name before it crashes, but it still crashes even after the update in November 2019. I only got the app three days ago. I tried uninstalling and re-installing, but that didn't stop the constant crashing.

Lots of choices which makes it lots of fun. No ads, which is a huge positive. My negative is that the dislikes list is not in any order and you can't sort them. I've swiped no on some by mistake and you only have the option to undo your last swipe. I know you can go in to your dislikes and delete them to put them back in the list but if your dislike list is long, the name is difficult to find. They are not in that list alphabetical or in order of how they were swiped... they are completely random with no way to sort them.

Really enjoyed it, until it started buggy out and wouldn't stay open for more than ten seconds. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but no luck. Didn't matter if I swiped right or left, or didn't swiped or tap anything at all, this app would suddenly close. Over and over again. So, yeah, doesn't work for some reason.

This app is super buggy. I love the concept, but when buying all name sets and filtering per language or per letter, it just resets automatically meaning it won't let me filter by the letter A or by Aboriginal names (for example). What's more annoying, it repeats the matches my partner and I have already agreed upon. Also, the app crashes repeatedly and won't restart. I'd ask for a refund but the developer can keep the money to develop something better because this isn't good enough.

This is a great app for finding shared liked names with my wife. One thing that could be improved is not showing the same names over and over. We both get the same names many times and sometimes laugh about how a shared liked name popped up 5 times. I also suggest that the performance is made faster with the name matching, rather than taking a few seconds to process.

this is a great app. I had problems at first seeing the names my partners and I matched with but resolved itself very quickly! the only bit of constructive feedback I would give is I wish it had a wider selection of unique English names! other than that, great app and there's none other like it. it made my partner feel more of a connection with the pregnancy and with the baby names.

Peacefully Agreeing We had a lot of "no's" until we used this app. Now we have 9 yes's on our name list! The app hid all our no's and only let us know what we agree on, making the hunt for a name a much more positive experience. Two changes would improve the app for me: 1) make it so we can add other names we think of later or add names we decided are ok so we don't have to sort back through everything. 2) either alphabetize names or make a status bar to tell how close/far to the end of the list.

Great and fun app to quickly select a fitting baby name. After the initial problem of the app constantly crashing on me Krijn has fixed the problem very quickly and professionally. Truely an amazing response and support time on his side. Thank you for that! I also appreciate that the last name shows up with the first name suggestion, that makes it easier to visualize the full name. I also appreciate that there are no adds displayed in the app.

Downloaded this app about 18 months ago for our first child. It was fun, the names were all there for free and no ads. Now you have to pay and there's this ridiculous ad flashing at you the whole time. I wouldn't mind paying a small fee to get rid of ads and to get all the names, but this is excessive. Will just go back to using the name books!

Great breadth of names, and filtering of theme/origin works well. No issues matching with partner either. But the swiping is uneconomical (too large an action) for it to be easy, the buttons down the bottom don't work either. It would also be good to be able to sort the lists of liked/disliked names, at least alphabetically.

I like the idea of this app but it could be better. For instance if you could enter names you've already considered. Also, I would like it more if it would populate names that are similar style/feel/popularity to either names you enter or names that you've selected as yeses. The back button doesn't work Love that there are no ads!

Its a fun way to search for baby names, but it shows the same names over and over even after you and your partner have matched. I would give it more stars, but the app freezes up all the time and it's so glitchy it makes it hard to use.

Had our first child in 2020. Used the app, huge selection of names (from the common to the unique), really easy to connect to partner and see matched names, etc. It may have been what helped us find his name actually. 2nd child due 2022, redownloaded app - very few free names, all "packs" beyond common English names requires payment. Sad to see such a great free app go greedy.

Not many names without paying, it starts to ask about the same names over and over. Also I recently got a new phone and while the app transferred over, there was no way to transfer my "account" or any of our matched names or my added names. My partner sent me a new invite to my new phone, which reset ALL of our matched names. We are 3 weeks from our due date and starting from scratch with names in this app

You get to pick which language/country to filter names on but then it doesnt tell you which one the name was associated with. Also would be nice to be able to alphabetize the results for quicker sorting. Basic app that does what it says it does.

Loved the idea and that my partner and I could connect on it to find matches. Initial use was great but gender filter doesn't always work and it repeatedly gives us the same names over and over. Such a shame. Really liked the idea and the design. Will be looking for a better working alternative.

Pretty good, with lots of names in many languages (if you pay a little for it). However, extremely annoying that the same names appear over and over again with just slightly different spellings FOR (seemingly) EVERY LANGUAGE.

Contacted devs and no response. DO NOT BUY THE EXTRA NAME LISTS. I bought 5 additional lists, only one appeared on my partners list. By the look of the reviews this used to be a good app that has become bad when they tried to monetise it. I don't mind paying a bit, but I feel like it was wasted.

Great app with tons of names! Was very helpful in establishing a list of names my partner and I both liked. I did miss a search tool or something, or an alphabetical sorting of the names... Trying to find a name I rejected in the huge list is almost impossible... Other than that, great job 😉

There are SO many bugs with this app. If you have All Languages selected, the app just keeps restarting. Then you have to uninstall the app which doesn't save any names you have already gone through. Gave this app a few chances as I like the matching feature but it's too buggy.

Very good, but I'd like the following changes: duplicate names, even across languages (I still get duplicates, probably because they're duplicates for different lists) should be avoided. It should also be optional to put in last name.

Great idea, but name syncing doesnt work properly. get notification for matches, but dont appear on my app. do appear on my wife's app. also, appear to be many esoteric names, but many more common names are missing. end up swiping left all the time for nothing.
