In case you're curious: KINDU was created by a group of doctors who were inspired by a sexual health class in med school. The class was meant to expose us straight-laced medical students to the full spectrum of human sexuality. We learned about fetishes, bondage and discipline, vibrators as well as about sex toys, sex positions, low libid, erectile dysfunction etc. You should have seen us blush!
We were fascinated and embarrassed at the same time. This made us realize the delicate nature of desire. We first developed KINDU as a hobby back in 2008. After further research, we discovered that intimacy is crucial to a healthy love life. The purpose behind our app became more about connection, communication, novelty, and fun.
With KINDU, we strive to promote a love-positive lifestyle. Love is love and we wholeheartedly support the LGBT community. KINDU is meant to incorporate the whole spectrum of what couples do. I love the ideas that the cards present. HOWEVER, my wife ignores the app because it takes 3 to 4 minutes (I have timed this, it is NOT an exaggeration) to get to the point where you can answer any questions. It's almost as if the app has to report back to central servers after every button press and that server is located on Ellesmere island connected via 56k modem. Cannot recommend until the app is quicker.
Good concept but the app is so buggy. My partner has an iPhone and I have and Android and I have found that most things work on the android but the iPhone it is really restricted. logs out, no notifications.. Even the YouTube tutorials don't work. N When notifications occur on the android it just takes you to the 'home page' Lots of work for this to be a usable app. Finding useful info on the matches page is difficult. (what do the different colours mean)
A pretty good app. It's a fun and helpful way to get people talking and communicating about their needs, wants, and wishes. It would be nice if it were a tad more thorough with things like the wildcard and being able to see things that were mismatches as it's a bit difficult to remember after a few days what items could be conversation pieces.
Could be really fun but it is too slow. And I mean like you have to wait multiple minutes for it to change pages. It is very frustrating. I love the ideas and I love that you can write wildcards. I wish there was a dashboard where you could see responses (especially to the wildcards you write).
This is a fun app, my wife and I enjoyed it a lot but I can't give it a good rating because I tried to purchase additional packs twice now and I get an error that says it could not contact the server so I don't get the packs but my payment still guess through. I emailed the support but never got any response. App is just stealing money without supplying the purchased product and then not answering complaints about it.
Nice concept. But it would be better if the app wouldnt take FULL MINUTES TO LOAD EMPTY SCREEN MOST OF THE TIME! ... ahem, sorry about that. Seryously tho, every screen you try o access takes minutes to loads and sometimes the screen end up blank like it didn't even properly load whatbit was loading. Fix it and I'll change my rating.
The build I first got when downloading the app was severely broken, but it was fixed within a few weeks. The app is pretty fun, though I wish there was a way to distinguish between "both maybe" and "one maybe, one yes" on the matches screen.
My partner and I downloaded this app and to start with it was fantastic however we noticed that on my phone I was unable to access the daily den but my partner was. I reinstalled the app twice, tried contacting support with no response and then deleted my account and created a new in the hopes that this would work and it unfortunately has not. For some reason the app works perfectly on my partners phone but not mine and now that we have completed the first suggested activities the app is useless
Been using this app for well over a year now.. Yes 8t can be slow to load, however this is in part because all the data is on their servers... My wife and I have crossed a few items off our lists and we have completed all the free dailies, as well as a few extra packs... If you want extra kink go for the red rabbit store... Just want some nice safe stuff try the white. Rabbit store... Bought a few and never had issues getting them... I have contacted support before took them a week to respond...
Slowest app I've ever downloaded. Thought this would be fun but this app doesn't function on my Samsung Galaxy. The backlight on my phone will go out three or more times before a page on the app will load. Some pages never load. Very disappointing.
I tested it before and liked the idea. Now that I wanted to use it again the login doesn't work and requesting a new password also doesn't work. Sounds like the server structure might be gone :(
It is constantly searching for the app and trying to load a new page when requested. It is definitely the app and not the phone or connection on this end. All other apps load immediately. It is not savong my choices, ie my gender. It wont maych with my mate. Says Not Found for both of us.
App is ok, 2 things i don't like...the free daily decks are kinda basic ideas; most things i think most people have already tried. Other thing is when you add an anonymous card to the deck, the other person is able to tell which cars you added because it shows there's not been any likes or tries...making it obvious it's a card you added.
This app takes so long to load, my phone nearly times out everytime I try to get it to load anything. It's too much of a hassle honestly to even try to take seriously since it'll take 30 minutes just to try to fill out and make an account before you can look at anything. Disappointing, really
App works, me and my partner like it. Not everything is for free, card decks are usually 1$ which is completely fine by me. Just make sure to tap the "i" (info) button to learn the app's icons. Overall slightly outdated UI, but the app works and it's great.
Pretty fun, but the daily kindus will occasionally say I completed half of the ones from the day before (even though I know I finished them because I saw the matches) and I'll have to tell my partner to not do the next one in order for us to be on the same one again, or buy a daily pack to fix the glitch. Kind of annoying sadly.
It looks interesting, but not able to load anything, not even the settings. Couldn't see not even 1 card...Dev team has to work on the functionalities and figure out why the response time is so slow....apparently I'm not the only one with this problem.
Lags!!!!! Each pages takes over 1 minute to load, just a spinning wheel each time. Concept is great, but the user experience is poor at best.
i love the idea, but it has a really bad interface, which takes a lot away from the usefulness. Every day you and your partner answer 12 new questions (and 50 if you buy a pack), but you can't see which matches are new from that day, its just a huge list from all time that you also can't search through or filter in any way. To see the new matches you have to manually look through the whole list and try to remember which ones are new.
