This app is ok, but .. You can't check to see pending bill payments, not cancel or amend them. Much worse than that, when I try to do a bill payment, I routinely get a message saying that it failed to register. I'd say about 50% of the bills İ pay İ get the "Failed" message - often repeatedly. This wouldn't bother me so much if I could trust the "Failed" message. İnstead, occasionally after repeating the entry until it works, the "failed" payment actually goes through and İ pay in duplicate.

In all, I find this banking experience to be quite excellent. The only glaring example of things that drive me crazy is the extremely short time-out length of active access. Time and again while trying to reconcile my checkbook to the Kinecta screen, it shuts me out and I have to sign in again! At the very least, I wish it were an adjustable setting.

Overall good app. Would be nice if there was an grand total for more than 1 account. Can't see transfer history or pending transfers on your mobile phone. You can only view on a laptop. This is a very nice feature that was lost in the move from Xceed. In addition, you are logged out very quickly within a few minutes. If you look at history on an account or bill pay than go back you are logged out and have to sign back in. The Xceed app worked much better. Never had any of these concerns.

Edit: It turns out that you can change the options for biometric verification in the settings so it doesn't ask you for your fingerprint everytime you open the app (only when you try to log in) but I feel like it should be that way by default. Good, but I wish it wouldn't ask for my print everytime I open the app with biometric authentication enabled. Sometimes I just want the quick balance. I already used my print to unlock my phone to even use the app.

I am an Xceed FCU member whose account was moved during the merger, and I will admit that the XFCU app was lacking; this one is a lot more polished. The two biggest things I miss, however, are 1) Being able to set the minimum transaction notification amount to $50 or less rather than $100, and 2) The check deposit feature in Xceed's app was more advanced and allowed use of the flash. Other than that, I'm pretty happy with the move to this app.

The app is user friendly. I like the mobile deposit feature. On the other hand, the app (and website) is lacking a detailed credit card center for the rewards accumulated for the My Perks Rewards Credit Card. There's no breakdown of what you received credit for per category and the cumulative total takes forever to be added; it's per billing cycle instead of within a few business days. Enhancements = 5⭐s

Got locked out of app on all of my mobile devices when I installed it on a new phone. New install says it sent a PIN to my email but it never did and wouldn't let me continue until I entered the PIN and had to wait 24 hours for the PIN it didn't send to expire. Now I get USERPASS lockout. Customer support was unable to resolve the issue as the mobile tech people were frequently unavailable. It took 2 weeks to finally get it fixed.. At least PC version was unaffected.

The app kicks you out way to quick to do anything of meaning. For example I'm trying to create a new account for Bill pay and I get logged out before I even finish. Not enough time is now given. I tried 3 times and each time I get logged out. Before the last update I used to have plenty of time. Not now. Whats the app for if I have to go online to do my banking business?

The app is very user friendly without any navigation difficulties, and its a sure way to avoid having to make a call to the branch or call center which is not a knock on their customer service but an awesome alternative to have if your day is busy. A+ in my book!!!

Don't fix what isn't broken, except you did. I'm using a Pixel 3 with a fantastic camera and the app will not do a mobile deposit because it can't read the bank numbers on the bottom of the check. I can read the numbers on the bottom of the check with my eyes, interesting! Now I have to go to a CU shared services branch to deposit the check.

Bill Pay is missing a key feature. I can't edit a payment. I can cancel or create a payment, but if I need to push the date or change the amount, I have to go to the desktop. I used that feature at least on a weekly basis with Xceed.

I can never consistently use this app. I always have to reset my password even if I'm using my fingerprint. If I happen to accidentally tap my phone censor twice, I'm locked out and have to reinstall this app. Once "USERPASS" shows up, it locks you out entirely and its impossible to get back in the app. Dumb.

They were bugging me about writing a review so here it goes. Don't bank with kinecta if you don't have to. This app gives misleading information and will not reflect your true balance. The information is useless towards balancing your account because of the time to process payments. Sometimes it will release money from a purchase back into your account then debit the amount a few days later creating an overdraft fee. Borderline criminal.

Well, now you've done it. I can no longer log in to the application at all. It tells me I have a rooted device and it will not work. Got news for you, my device, a Samsung Galaxy note 9 on T-Mobile, is not rooted! Please fixed this idiotic error immediately or I may have to find another bank.

Unfortunately getting the true balance of your account is deceiving. I stongly suggest using a screenshot app that video records what this app shows you so that you have proof. The "behaviors" of this app are reminiscent of the old Wells Fargo days when the sequence of transactions were switched and generated overdraft fees for the bank. Also, take screenshots online. Customer service on such issues is like dealing with a stone wall. However transfers between checking and saving is easy.

Can not pay my auto loan through the app from an outside account. Called a representative and they told me I would have to log in on the main website and transfer money from my personal bank account to the credit union for a payment. Totally lame and inconvenient. App is good for nothing to me except to see my loan balance.

Good app, but can't view e-documents using it. An error message comes up with a lot of programming language when trying to access those documents. Wish they would fix it. It would also be nice if mortgage transactions were available.

sometimes the fingerprint doesnt work but easy to fix. usually the app works great. when I look at the website on my computer I am able to see pending deposits and withdrawals on the app they dont appear I would like that corrected

great app, allows me to transfer money between accounts and pay my Kinecta credit card. You can even make deposits with your phone (just take a picture). Easy and fast way to check on my accounts without having to call or sign into the website.

Main issue with proper balance display. Example: saying I have $130 available spending balance when it is really about $60-$70. May be a problem on iPhone because I just switched but I will continue to notify if it persists on my Android device.

It remains A # 1 even after cutting customer support from their banking site. I'm sure the portal will be back by the end of 2021. Well, it's still numeral uno and I only needed customer support once and I did it the old way, called on the phone, information readily obtained, but I still miss internal email. You can't get a better app or a better Financial institution, I have been a very satisfied customer for 54 years.

I understand that banking apps needs the highest level of security, but the Kinecta app refused to let me log in after I bought a new cellphone. I entered the correct username and password but ended up getting a cryptic message about needing to update my four digit pin and then got locked out. I've been a Kinecta member for years. They have my email and phone numbers on file, so they could easily send a security code to confirm my identify. Instead I'm locked out until I phone them. Ugh!!!

Seems that the app has been updated and functions very well. The only qualm that I have about is that you must write an complete essay on the back of the check. "For mobile deposit only at Kinecta FCU" is WAY too much. That's the only reason why I changed the rating from 5 stars down to 4.

Simple and easy to use. I actually wish it had more detailed features. When I transfer money online I like to put a note with it so when I look back on it, I know what it was. Otherwise, very easy. It's great to use mobile deposit.
