Easy to use, easy on the eyes. Perfect features for studying with pretty colours. The only things I'd recommend for a better experience are audio options and an account. Ive switched many devices and downloaded this app and my previous bookmarks and notes are gone. If there is an option to save such information to an account, I don't know how. Otherwise I'm pretty satisfied with the app.
Love that I am able to write notes and highlight verses that are to be memorized or noted. I also like that I can see how much of the chapter I have read. I would recommend that you add the normal translucent yellow highlighter and in addition, make the font that we use to make notes a different color so that it can be easily distinguished from the words of the Bible. I am also unable to select and highlight selected words from verses,sometimes I need to highlight just a sentence not the entire verse.
Best overall KJV app I've used. The only issues I have are; 1: The search function is bordering on useless, if you don't search with the exact quote it won't find it... Which sort of defeats the purpose of having a search feature. 2: The share with a picture function is awesome... Except it doesn't give an option to put the verse number in front of each verse, it just lists them off as a paragraph and puts the verse number at the bottom (for example; John, 3:16-21).
I've just started using this Bible app and so far it's been great! I certainly do enjoy being able to read and not be distracted by all the ads running at the top/bottom of the page (mostly inappropriate ads) for a Bible app! I gave 4 stars for now, but if nothing changes, I will definitely increase my rating to 5 stars after I've used it a little bit longer.
Had been using this KJV Bible for sometime. Eapecially, during our Sabbath services. The only problem was when I changed my phone. All my activities/progress disappeared. Another, is that bright orange page that welcomes me everytime I open the app. Since I'm in my late 50's, it really hurts my eyes. Can you tone it down to light green please? The color of nature? Same thing with the white background pages. Maybe you can make it light brown? Over all you're superb.
I love this bible app. It's easy to use, easy to find verses and the bookmarks and notes are great. Would just like the option to search for part of a word (a string of letters) and have the verses with words containing the string pop up.
It has some features I enjoy, like bookmarks with different colour highlights, open back to last chapter read. I like the share section. Could do with some more features. I enjoy using it anyway. I have finish reading through the bible. Used 2 apps Don't know how to restart this app. Do I need to download another one?
Very useful. Enables me to be able to read the Bible anywhere. The app also allows me to bookmark passages in multiple colors, as well as search for passages with partial phrases or words as well. I have been able to study the Bible with more depth.
Alot of fantastic features for an app that's free, it's very easy to use, and the bookmark set up is really nice. Aswell as the progress section.
The only Bible I come back to over & over again! Might not have everything, but has everything I need to make it work. Love that I can share verses & I can attach a nice background to them. Has plenty daily verses, though I don't use them. It looks cute compared to other apps & I find it sticks to the text with nothing missing as other apps. I really wanted an offline NIV Bible app, but none pleased me, so I decided to stick to this one.
This App is absolutely, amazing....it is very good, it helps in so much that, it helps to create some quotations, to share with people. But I just, think on my side, it should be upgraded, to a level that, it can allow a person, to Search Scriptures, by Names, Stories or some insidents that took place. Thank you.
This Bible app for what's worth...it's really the BEST Offline Bible app I've EVER USED! The great fact that it has NO AD attached to it (wonder how a free app achieves that feat !) makes it all the more exciting and refreshing to use! As an avid student of the Scriptures...I'm really really refreshed whenever my search for any forgotten passage is easily and seamlessly retrieved all by this great and glorious app!
It's been great so far, my only issue is the inability to copy multiple verses so it's a task copying one by one to share them on my various social platforms. Also I'm not sure I've seen a profile menu since using this App, I just received an email regarding it but I can't seem to find it. Blessings.🙏
I almost like this app except I cannot highlight! I want the choice of highlight, underline, both highlight and underline. And with the highlighting and underlining, I want to be able to highlight / underline one word, part of a verse, part of a sentence, like I am able to do with my regular Bible. Take notes is another thing I want to be able to do. Make a note about a verse or write a note about a thought. I love that it is broken down by sections, the first 5 books are known as the Law, etc.
Feedback: Not very user friendly, while searching a particular topic or a key word like God, ideally it should show in how many verses and the corresponding books and chapters God is mentioned and the total number of times God is used in Bible in a place - which is not showing right now. Please enable these two functions. Thanks, Winston
Great App. I enjoy reading with it. Love the various suggested readings. I suggest you make it possible to select the exact chapter and verse one wants to access rather than having to scroll through many others before getting what you want.
Finally, a kjv bible without ads. I don't mind paying for a download but I find it very frustrating to get interrupted from meditating on God's word by an aggressively loud, colorful, and attention-grabbing video advertising some generic app or product. I'd rather pay with money than with time-wasting ads that savagely eviscerate my quiet time with The Lord. This app doesn't charge a dime and removed all ads. That's incredibly generous to those who just want to spend time in The Word. Great app.
I believe that if there were only one true version of the Holy Bible, the old King James would be it! Also a great app, design to help you understand the differences and the relations of the sixty-six books that complete the Holy Bible. This unchanged version is the everlasting word of God!
Wonderful app !!! Has no adds, and can easily be used to manover through the app pages to learn more about the Bible, and focus more on God's word. It let's you keep up with your progress as you go, and offers a lot on the app. It's a great app, I would recommend it to anyone !!!
My favorite bit is being able to do word searches to find specific verses. I've used that feature while debating certain topics. With it being a copy of the Authorized Version, searching for a particular word helped to find the definitions of words I was confused about using the KJV's built-in dictionary. And having the ability to bookmark certain verses and color code them is also very useful for cross referencing certain passages.
