King Of Defense: Battle Frontier (Merge TD)

Pay to win. Very hard and even impossible to win. The towers have little impact after the upgrades and you need high level heroes to proceed after the initial levels. Letting even one enemy pass means you don't get the level pass. Frustrating as it could be a very good game.

Boring tower defense game that is an exact copy of every other tower defense game available. Developers don't care about the games they put out anymore as long as they get their microtransactions in there. No depth or content at all, awful graphics, boring units, this game is not worth playing at all

This is a LOT of fun. I'm only about 20 levels in, but haven't paid anything and having no real difficulty at normal level. I enjoy simple tower defense games like Kingdom Rush, and this is quite similar with a few different options. Well worth trying.

Would be better if they just stop limiting the original version. Yes I think it's a good follow up from realm defense and other defense games.

I love it has a great story line great gameplay really like how you can stacka tower in another tower to make thrm stronger or faster great cartoony look all that the buying heros thing tho wish could change but im here to juge good things not bad things

I can't log in Google Play and because of that, I can't save my data. I have followed fb page and group but didn't get any rewards. I already purchased items with money but now I can't even save

Misleading packages in store. They haven't addressed a $20 offer I bought that I didn't get. Filing a complaint to Google Play Store to get this app removed from the search results. Until I update this review, do not purchase anything from them. They sell you stuff but don't give it to you after you pay for it, and they completely ignore you.

I mean at this point... you spend money in this game and at the end of the game in all other levels the controls just do not work... kinda frustrating.

Its an almost EXACT copy of another tower defense game I played like 4 years ago, but now with more pay walls. Like we are talking exact same maps, exact same enemies, down to the the same art of the woman in the beginning. It's a total copy/paste with a few *very minor* changes, mostly towards the pay wall. I actually checked my Google history to see if I had a file already with this game, but this is a new game. Anyways it's still fun, I enjoyed the old TD game that this one copied too.

New favourite. It's an incredible grind, but still fun to play. If I compare it to the Rush series, this is more fun with the stacking towers that combine. Change your hero to beat certain tougher levels.

Hi I done purchase in shop for 2 items and only receive for one purchase. Game is really good and is around 200 stages and different options recommend

Unlike other tower defense games, this game is quite challenging and full of strategy. Good game! 5 stars.

It's fun it's a pretty good tower defense game and it can it can give you something to do on your free time when you just have your phone

Keeps me busy. Sometimes it requires patience, but that makes it easier to integrate into the rest of my life. I wish there was a single button (hit again to confirm) that would put it into pause mode and return to "desktop" without losing one's place in the game. In general, the battles are fun, and finding/achieving upgrades are satisfying, but sometimes frustrating. It has adequately filled the empty times in my life.

The gameplay mechanics are great. Combining tower types is a great ability that sets this game apart from other tower defense apps. I haven't felt any need to purchase anything so far in order to win, so that's a win. The downside is the grammar; sometimes the English translation is so bungled that you can't understand the directions. Doesn't make much of a difference on gameplay though, just makes the game feel cheaper.

A+ Game. You can progress free w/ ads instead of having to pay to progress, graphics are great, mechanics are easy to use/learn, level diversity, upgrade system, etc.. my only gripe, & the reason why I only rated it 4/5 stars, is that lately I've had trouble with getting ads to be available. Often times it feels almost necessary to watch certain ads to get more starting gold for a level, to buy items, etc. but when I try to watch 1 I can't open it up & get the same msg saying it's unavailable

I want to see how much money and time the positive reviews spent on the game! One of the most egregious examples of forced pay to win I've ever seen. On level 11 they have a map with an area your champion can't reach and there are not enough tower slots to stop the enemy mobs. The solution? Pay $0.99 to unlock a champion trapped in a cage up there. If that is not obvious enough, the cage bounces over and over during the match as you are losing, trying to get you to pay up before it's game over

Dual towers combining the best characteristics of each is a great twist to the normal tower defense strategy. Nice leveling up system, runes for character development and mix of levels means the game does not get old. If you are going to spend money on micro transactions, you don't need to spend a lot to get a lot, you also don't need to spend anything to enjoy the game and win. Great game 👍

As I fan of TD games I like this one but it has its issues. Great maps, worlds, towers, levels, heroes, and graphics. However it relies on ads waaaay too much and some levels/enemies are incredibly difficult to beat/kil and the heroes only gain experience if you beat the level (veeery slow progress at times.) Also there are too many options and spending money does not guarantee progress. The heroes to get are Satan, scorch blaze and Brion (I have not unlocked Waylin.) Don't get andor or cercle.

The problem with this game is that there's just too much going on. For example Stage 4 has a cannon shooting out dwarfs that fight for you, that you need to send to the enemies, there are environmental Minigames that can give you ridiculous money, your hero has abilities and a pet, that also has an ability, you can summon farmers to help you, you can super buff a tower, the towers need to be upgraded and all that is communicated and translated poorly. It's fun, but don't play on fast mode.

Game was fun but without money it becomes un playable the bad guys advance way faster then you making you pay to play don't waste your time

Ok. People were complaining about unfair gameplay so I actually didn't spend a penny. (I usually get beginner packs and bonuses early since that's when they are most useful.) Yeah, it's tough but I went to 11 to see what the fuss was - yes you can cross the chasm with your hero. Just advance slowly. And you get the wolf free once you win that level. You don't need to buy it. Okay, so that's settled, I'm buying stuff now. (Again, it's hard but not impossible.)

Main Issues. 1. No account saving 2. Are you stoneface to not let User like me to get Google Play Connected 3. Always denying Backup for Account

The grind gets annoying by level 10. The difficulty rises much faster than heroes and towers can upgrade, pushing for in game purchases of items or upgrades. This wouldn't be too bad if the devs didn't advertise the cash shop on every single screen as a way out of the grind. Honestly it's a unique take that towers can be two tiers tall, but it gets gimmicky before long.

This game is trying hard to be kingdom rush and I give them props for the presentation. But what I don't give props to this game isn't the gameplay but the points you receive from each and every level. It's absurd and discouraging to the point that I had to stop playing it. The reward system is so horrible becuase it's heavily forcing you to grind with less gain and repeat the same stage over and over again... Well, after reviewing this, I'm gonna Uninstall the game and go back to Kingdom Rush.

Minus a star for the so many different ways it tries to get you to spend money. Plus maps far too easy at the beginning. But I like the stacking of towers and many different ways to upgrade. And getting challenging now. Also past level 11 without paying and now I have a pet! TD fan in general.

It's a great game but you hit a very harsh difficulty curve, clearly built to shell out money. Enjoy it until it's pay to play.
