Now, I want to emphasize that I'm a huge fan of the old PC version of the game, which I literally consider the best turn based strategy-tactics game. The mobile version successfully transferred most of its mechanics along with most of the units and the overall atmosphere. However, I can't close my eyes in front of some ridiculous decisions: - no in-game communication system - that Facebook profile is so cheap excuse; - duel matching is outrageous, sending you against twice stronger opponents.
Hey Devs! The game is amazing, I'm a fan of homm series and this game brings me back to that times, I really like it! But I have a little problem. I play from phone and PC (steam) and I have problem with friends. On both platforms I have different friends and sometimes they disappear. It's really upsetting for me,because I want to be closer with the game community and talk to that people, but all of them dissapear from my friend list for no reason. I hope that you could fix it!
I absolutely love the kings bounty series but It's nearly impossible to play without connecting to Facebook. Items and quests go unfinished because of the lack of friends. The game cannot be backed up without facebook so I lost all of my progress. Why don't they have Google play backups? Finally the UI had a number of bugs with overlapping icons & text boxes. If there were too many item sales going on you couldnt click on the next quest giver.
The game essentially forces you to link your Facebook account to the game by preventing progress through certain elements unless you enlist help from your Facebook contacts. The client itself is very unstable. When you recruit units it might end up stuck in a "loading" loop or the app will not handle being put in the background for any length of time well. The UI is crowded with overlap and tooltips are oddly difficult to bring up I loved Kings Bounty games on the PC but this port is terrible.
Started out pretty nicely, nice graphics. Okay waste of time, BUT turned in to insanity pretty soon. Insanity because pretty soon one encounters enemies that just can not be beaten, since they " getting reinforcements" by doubling they numbers ... In my opinion stupidity. Idk if one has better chances to progress if one pours money in to the game, but the point is moot coz they ain't seening the color of my money :-)
I would suggest a bigger fighting field. Making the characters a bit smaller wouldn't affect the game's appeal. A little bit more special effects would do nicely! But overall it's a cool game!
The game devs essentially abandoned this game, it has been years since they last updated it, which is sad because this is a great game and plays exactly like the King's Bounty games on PC. You try to write to them about it and they never reply back, this game has potential to be great but devs need to update it to deal with problems in the game. Give it a try despite this, you'll like it.
Game expects social play. Social play is ONLY available through Facebook. Facebook's embedded login has been disabled for apps that haven't been updated properly (so says the page when you try to do so). Ergo, SOCIAL PART OF GAME IS UNPLAYABLE. Literally impossible to access. And you're hyper-encouraged to do so, with quests and rewards involving your friends list.
Way too much pay to win going on in this game. I loved the King's Bounty series on PC but this game is just bad. I have played through it twice, and both times got stuck around the same spot. Eventually the fights get so hard you either have to spend a lot of really life money to get top tier units that DO NOT revive after dieing in battle, or leverage tons of your Facebook friends to help you in the raid fights for a chance of some of the top tier units. I would not recommend this game to anyone.
I had too many problems with unresponsive or inconsistent controls, including clicks on items just to see what they are. This doesn't happen with other games to this degree. It makes the game that much harder to learn, thus killing the fun for me.
I love the strategic battles and variety of troops, but the PVP is BAD, and the way that several gameplay elements are implemented is counterintuitive and unnecessarily puzzling, especially boosts, runes, and ad support (e.g., "opening" monsters to fight). Pvp really continues to be the low point for me, and I really don't think that duels should cost troops. I'm a HoMM and King's Bounty fan from over the years; this sort of scratches the itch. (Updated after more time with the game.)
I played the pc version of this game way back in my college (2006). I played this game on mobile now and its great and the background song bring back the memories and nostalgia i felt when i played this game. Though i prefer the pc version is great than the mobile because they change every thing skills/abilities of the unit unlike the pc version. Still a great game and still running/updating hope they update more and change every thing much like the pc version of the game. I still like the game.
I have only been playing the game for a few hours and as far as I can tell it's not a pay to win, you can play the campaign without any need for them. Gameplay is easy hex-based strategy. The game also has rpg elements eg leveling up you general, upgrading your troops and a crafting system that can be equipped by you general or use to buff troops. Overall fun easy to play game that will most likely appeal to fans Of the Hero's of might and magic series.
Regularly freezes, restarts, or endless looping. Add to this, game restart when trying to watch ad for patrolling which is "an integrated part of the game"....makes this game unplayable. 1 extra star for decent overall...nothing game changing. Pretty standard turn based strat/rpg. Instability is -3 if I could rate it. Edit: lost a star to 1 star. Only bc of other very similar issues dealing from app permissions to instability, that get roboreplied.
Well i was able to play the game once for a few hours and it was great. Havent been able to play since for 3 days now.....endless loading like multiple other reviews have stated. Please fix this its not an individual user thing. Theres something in the program causing this issue. I use Android and the one time i got to play i signed in as a Guest. Have also tried to login on Facebook but still endless loading just after hitting login on home screen. Do get scrolling hints on bottom of screen tho
I'm surprised game is still alive, as it has not received campaign missions nor new maps since years. It's nice while you progress on main quests but once you defeat Lazarus you dont have much to do but daily missions and PVP, which is pretty unbalanced and p2w by the way. if you dont pay you have access only to units you can get in missions, towns and medals of honor, it is very hard to upgrade them and spells also, and nearly impossible to craft good items.uninstalling until new pve content.
It would have been a good game but it's all about donate and buying gems, auras, gold etc. The game always points you in your inability to fill your army with desired troops, upgrade them etc. Then different sales and special offers start to exist on your screen among quests. This game is completely about how to make a gameplay to force you to buy for real money. It has been expected from a free game, but I don't like it.
Pay to win, don't spend your time on this, Nival ruined this game, you cant progress without paying real money here, or you can, but you have to play like 5 years to do something. Upgrading units is also hard, you have probability of success for any upgrade, with every level is smaller and smaller if you don't pay, and if you fail in uprading that unit, you lose all money, which isn't easy to earn. Pure waste.
Was looking for something similar to Final Fantasy Tactics or Vandal Hearts and this is pretty close. SO FAR my only complaint is that the board is a little tough to see. Wish I could zoom in or at least spin the board to better plan my placements. But, so far, a pretty entertaining game...
I love this game and generally played it every day, and now every time I log in I find some other player has "attacked the garrison" and I,ve got to deal with that. Bloody ruined it for me. Players should be in control of their game, and have the right to choose whether they interact with other players!!! I,ll be deleting it soon...... Attacked twice last night while the game was off!! Now deleted.
Really sluggish even on my s7. Really unresponsive to a lot of the button pushes. Have to click the same icon sometimes 3 or 4 times to make it work. Graphics are alright but the gameplay will put you to sleep. Zzzzz
wish I could give 0:5 stars!!!!! I haven't even played and it states "in order for proper installation we require access to your photos and files and permissions to modify existing files." After you grant access for that it states "in order for proper installation we require access to your phone and phone book." DaFuq? LMFAO!!!!! HARD NO! Not worth the time, or freedom to access information.
Touch interface is sometimes a bit wonky, and quests aren't that interesting. It has the same great kings bounty battle system though so is still pretty fun for long stretches of time.
Had played this in the past on the PC. So disappointed at the permission requirements. No way in hell a game should require access to phone itself. I don't use facebook, so the lame response of use that to login is doesn't fly. Shame, I was looking forward to playing. One less customer for you.
Great game if there's something I feel it should improve is better graphics, because pretty outdated and some camera control to be able to see from above. Sometimes units kinda hide one behind another.
This unstable game has bugs/issues that made it unplayable. You have to have a Facebook account in order to have an account and give your character a name. The game doesn't log you in sometimes and just gets stuck in a loading screen that says "waiting for connection." The buttons in the game are not very reactive and often require multiple attempts to push them. The game disconnects sometimes and never reconnects. Nival acts like customer service can fix this, as if it were an isolated issue.
