King's League: Odyssey

The game is entertaining and short enough to beat in one sitting. The problem is that when Upgrading your barracks to max level, you don't get the effects and bonuses promised. This was quite annoying given that they cost 50k gold each. This greatly increased the grinding time and was very disappointing. It would also be nice to have a way to skip battles or speed them up, but apart from that, the game plays great. After rebooting the game, the bonuses started to work. A little late, but works.

Fairly short, but a great experience. It's always a pleasure to buy a Kurechii game. In the future I'd recommend: - Making the game more challenging, not by raising the stats of enemies, but by making a system in which strategy and not grinding is rewarded. Training my units was not fun. I'd much rather be pushed in the direction of having a few different team compositions that can exploit enemies' weaknesses. - Drop the "chosen one" trope. Unique units invalidate all the others.

Gameplay gets very tedious very fast. Because there's no way to autopause or something when training finishes, you can waste precious time if you forget for more than a second or two to start training units. Past that, the gameplay doesn't really evolve beyond "throw your strongest units at the enemy until they die". No other features are ever implemented, so it makes it very hard to care about the gameplay. I ended up finishing Hard Mode but I frankly can't be bothered to try again on insane.

Hands down one of the best games i've ever played. It's so addicting that i've been replaying the insane mode countless times since the year after it got released even though it has an end that is usually reached quickly. I would love for you guys to make a continuation to the insane mode, add more characters, even having an online version of this. Great job!

Fun yet short game. Overall a good way to kill time but you reach the end game pretty quickly and then there's not much to do. The progression is pretty addicting and the structure of the game is set to make it so you experiment with different team comps for subsequent run throughs. It's definitely worth the price.

So the game was fun-ish. I played the game for 4 days here and there, and now I'm on endless mode with nothing left to do besides change the difficulty. The play pass toons were nice but I just was able to roll through the whole game without and kind of a challenge. The battles were a tad boring and it's just some people charging some people and the user has nothing to do. It was fun for 4 days though, but a little meh. Game was smooth and graphics were great. Gameplay was just a little lacking

This game is definitely one of the greatest games I've played and I've tried hundreds. The one thing it needs though is a tactical mode: a pause button so you can decide what to do with the limited time and resources you have. This game is definitely a very strategic game and it puts that to the test with the constant race against the clock doing 5 things at once before the months end. It does make it fun though. Keep up the great work devs!! I would love to see more games like this.

This game is a blast! Trainning up soldiers to fight and then making them better or replacing them. One thing that could be improved(If you're still working on this) Is to have a system where after you beat the game, you unlock a new difficulty where you keep soldiers but is very difficult.

Hello! Updating the review because I redownloaded after the latest August update, and it looks like it's fixed. It was a strange bug that "stretched" the game and left green marks across the sides of the screen, like the black bars in movies. VERY weird, but patched up thankfully.

Very nice game, I take one star because the achievements of the unique units has no way to accomplish, I played one time in normal and one in hard, I spent hours only trying to recruit the uniques , by the way, I have recruited all units in each part but the uniques that said , 30% , 35% not work, I gave up to run insane mode because this , overall, an excellent and enjoyed game

Huge fan of this developer. This game doesn't disappoint, but is definitely shorter than others. The automation, on top of that, in combat makes this less appealing than the other games. Otherwise, it's a smooth-running app and the art style is to die for. Thanks again!

Its a fun game but you have to have a basic undstanding of the game before getting into it. Its too fast paced to begin with, no room for error, and its a bit hard unless you have the Google Play Pass and can unlock the Premium Characters for free. Other that, it truly is a great game to play. Its fun, quick, to the point, and challenging. If you are good at games you will love it, if you are bad at games you will hate it. Sorry i couldnt give it a higher rating but its not a game for everyone

This is an OG, and especially like the original, this is nothing but pure management choas in a game. There is a nice level of strategy that purely relates to the development throughout the game, but there really isn't evolving gameplay for those looking for game rule changes. Highly recommend if you're into management games, and you want a bit of a challenge

Reasonable, but repetitive - It's essentially the exact same fight every time, just with slightly different/more difficult enemies, nothing else really changes. It's mildly entertaining, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Was a very easy game if you got it on play pass because you get all the premium characters. I didn't lose a single match. More abilities would have been nice. A longer campaign too. Either way was a neat little game to kill the time.

Super cute game. I didn't realize it's a speed run game until I was done and received a rating based on my time. I'm actually enjoying the endless part more to collect all of the cute characters. This game has a lot of potential. I hope they fix the bug that prevents you from scrolling around the map. Also, I got this on Play Pass which means I instantly got five advanced level characters. I was basically invincible the whole game which may be why I'm more interested in questing for characters.

Fun game. I used play pass, so I can't comment on value for money. However, I really enjoy the game. Using play pass means I could access all the elite units, which I think made everything easier, but I still spend a good amount of time playing and enjoy the graphics and play style. Highly recommend.

Was fun while it lasted. After going into endless mode my save file became corrupted and I could only load the game for 2 in game days or so before it crashed. It would open a bug report window and I submitted multiple reports, but I couldn't find a way around it...

The game is very interesting but sadly almost completely unresponsive. Sometimes even a few whole weeks can pass and I can't tap anywhere. Sometimes switching to desktop and back flushes the memory but rarely. I wished it was working. Very good game.

Very enjoyable experience! It's pretty simple and straight forward, fight for points to level up, level up and win bigger rewards. The feedback loop is tight and makes for a fun experience.

Fantastic game, easy to understand control's. I have some wishes. The game doesn't stretch to the ends of the screen and it does seem a little short. I'm working on 100% the game on insane mode.

Sometimes when I do a hire my game crashes and I need to restart my game and the moment I go back into my game the hire continues then it pops up again then crashes over done many things to try and fix it but I just end up having to delete that save file. If possible please fix

I love the game but i cant load my main save because when i try to the report an error screen pops up and when i click submit it quits me out of the app EVERYTIME. I just recently got this game and now i cant even play it more than 5 minutes on other saves before it happens too.

Awesome game, it's not quite what I expected it to be, but I enjoy it a lot. A good little strategy game. Another thing I like a lot is when I lock my phone while playing it automatically pauses the game and doesn't close it so I can pickup where I left off easy.

I love this game and the mechanics it has to offer, but the endgame is short. Plus, navigation on an Android phone is a nightmare, and frequent crashes may occur.

The game was fine and kinda enjoyable, I even did a small in-app purchase to support developers. Then, into literally the 2nd season, I encountered a game break bug that will not allow me to continue on my save file. I've requested both refunds and am awaiting a response.
