AWESOME: along with basically the rest of Iron Hide versions of same game (not to same extent though). Hero upgrades are a superb addition to the original; new levels/enemies/towers make the gameplay fresh while retaining all the bug-free plus gameplay of the original Kingdom Rush. Getting all stars in highest difficulty is NEAR IMPOSSIBLE but not required to enjoy the game.
Going through all the KR games and they are second to none. However kingdom rush origins' final level is multitudes harder than any level I've every played. Spoiler: the final boss has an ability where he destroys some of your towers. At some point it was 1 tower per cycle. But, in normal mode now, I lose 6 per cycle. By the time I make it quarter way through the health bar literally all of my towers have been destroyed. Is this a bug? It feels like a bug.
I always enjoy ironheight games. But this level keep freezes at round 4/15 (duskwood outpost). I have tried restarting and replaying but it freezes at exact round 4/15 every single time. Please check. Thanks.
This is my favourite Kingdom Rush game. The graphics are bright and fun. The towers are simple to use and most importantly you don't too many options. Kingdom Rush Vengence is a over complicated mess in comparison. Kingdom Rush Frontiers is good too.
Best tower defense game, yes, but worst of the series from Ironhide. Game really thrives on the mechanics and the strategy, but this one really sucked compared to the older two. OP towers, OP heroes, and simple tactics that will work everytime. Also the character voices are so BAD. All ancient wisdom and sacred knowledge story is gone to waste with a stupidly childish reference to some movie or show. Hope you didn't recycled the same stuff in Vengeance...
I used to play this and would have probably given it 4 stars, but just today, after not having even opened it for a year or two, I start getting push notifications advertising microtransactions to me. This is a paid game! You expect mtx in mobile games, so whatever, but spamming me with ads in a paid game? Yeah, no.
Literally the best game, it has a hard difficulty which challenges the viewer, the starter hero(eridan) is perfect and easy to use. Not only that, but it has different aspects compared to kr and krf suchas ranged barracks. Amazing game, worth time and money.
Probably the best series of any flash/mobile game. I've played these on both the computer and on the phone. They offer a reasonable challenge. Any negative reviews complaining about how it's too hard, well more than likely you're just bad at the game.
Great game, just one issue The screen does not stretch or fit the whole way, so you have black bars on the sides of the screen, not that noticable but with newer phones it is a problem
Very good tower defense game for killing time. It has microtransactions but I wiukd describe them as very optional, not harmful to the experience like in most mobile games. Worth trying if you like strategy games
Missing key features for the genre. 1. Can't speed up the mobs. 2. Can't save mid-level. 3. No auto-save. These problems combined means that I can't make progress unless I play extended sessions, which is almost never.
I'd rather pay few dollars for a good game than download a mediocre game that is free and spent more time watching ads. There are less and less games like this one. Tons of fun!
The standard Kingdom Rush formula but with a welcome change of scenery and style. All the new towers and units feel very unique. This game is innovative just the right amount, the addition of an activatable Hero Spell is simple but effective in changing the basic strategy while all the things you can expect from a Kingdom Rush game are here. As good as its predecessors if not better for some people.
Played the free version. This was 100% worth the purchase! You can upgrade heros, tower stats, and theres an actual story in the game. Really challenging on veteran!
Not bad. 2 major complaints though: 1. Too expensive heroes; 2. When clicking on soldiers barracks, the game uncontrollably zooms in. No other tower does that. Kinda annoying.
I have played all the Kingdome rush games so far, bought a few heroes in all of the games and am a long time fan. Have played these games since I was a kid and cannot recommend a better mobile game seriese to pass the time and enjoy.
This is an excellent tower defense game. No ads, no pay to win, no annoying popups. Extremely cheap, definitely worth the money. Else you can just play thenoriginal which is free, without ads. You can easily sink 10+ hours enjoying. It doesn't really feel worth revisiting levels with highest difficulty. Maybe that can be improved in future games. Solid 9/10.
Fantastic. If youre a fan of the other Kingdom rush games. This is for you. My only gripe about the games is the hand holding in the early stages. I wish we were able to level up the towers earlier in the game. Instead of waiting four stages in. But this game is phenomenal with the addition of your chosen hero having a unique ability you can use at your leisure which is a nice to use in a tight spot. Overall, you should buy it if you liked the other ones
It's a newer version of previous KR games, and I like the new towers powers. My only complaint remains the same: there's no fast forward button. On levels I cannot beat toward the end, 13/15, for example, I don't need to sit through the first 12 rounds. Please add this feature. It gets boring quickly when I have to sit through the same level forever just to try to beat the last two rounds.
The game improves on various elements of the original like character design, level design and some visual elements. However, since the purchase, I have been bogged down by random crashes anywhere in the middle of missions. So watch out what you are getting as I haven't yet received any response from the developer for this .
A great tower defense game that I have enjoyed quite a bit. Would definitely be easily a 5 star game if it weren't for 2 main things that rub me the wrong way. 1. Even though I payed for this game it still wants money for characters, which just feels greedy. I would happily pay more for the game initially if it was possible to earn things through achievement rather than requiring a purchase. 2. I cannot play my music in the background. anything you do in game pauses it. Just... why?
Kingdom Rush is one of the better tower defense games, though I didn't enjoy it as much as their last one. One thing that was annoying; how some of the stages paths were jumbled and you wouldn't know which path to upgrade. It did add a bit of a challenge, which is good for any game worth dL-ing, but as I said, it was annoying. It'd be nice if there was a "5 more waves" option to buy with the leftover stars. On some stages, right when it gets really interesting, it's over. Good game overall.
I really wish y'all could update your games. This game is so much fun, but more worlds, more places, more side stories and art. More super powerful bosses. It's always so fun and it's challenging. There's a fair upgrade system and little Easter eggs, achievements, and great artwork. My only complaint is how short this game is. The levels can be completed within a week and it's disheartening to see it just finish. I know it needs to have a finish line, but the finish line is so close to the start
I remember having played the original Kingdom Rush, and I'm glad that they still live up to the original game design set in place so many years ago. Great game, not particularly pay to win, and at a great price for the content you get. The only thing I can really nitpick about is paying money and still having to pay to unlock some heroes, but you don't really need them and it's difficult enough to make a profit on the Play Store anyway.
I never really got into the tower defense genre, but this completely changed my mind. It's very engaging, well thought out, just the right balance of challenge and reward. You really get the sense that your strategy worked when everything goes smooth. The heroes are also nice to upgrade and to play around with different styles of combat. The levels are a sight to behold and enemy types keep on changing appearances which keeps everything fresh.
Great so far. The lightning is so satisfying as well as the rain of arrows. I have noticed in all the games however, that the only way to cancel out of an action (like repositioning a unit or barracks rally point) is to pause and unpause the game. A bit awkward when you realise why everywhere your clicking is a red X. It'd also be nice to get a description/short video of hero's inherent traits without having to look through the wiki for a run down.
Both one of the best TD and mobile games out there. While the difficulty of certain levels, such as the iron challenges, can be quite frustrating, the overall experience and quality of the game easily makes up for it. While the enemy design is more limited than the original, the superior hero design and more engaged gameplay quite possibly put it above the original. I do wish that the premium heros could be obtained without purchases, such as through completing challenges, I still like the game.
The whole series is an absolute blast to play. Easily one of the most amazing and well made tower defence games out there. Each game has a distinct feel. There is replayability with difficulty increases and always an epic sense of accomplishment with each siege successfully defended. Multiple heroes to use (or buy) with tons of unique enemies. Great animations and slick graphics. Can keep you busy for hours.
Very very very similar to the previous games. The only thing that changes apparently is the names and look of some of the characters, towers, powers and landscapes. Other than that for now nothing new... And there's no button to fast forward ..... Overall very good game but if all from the series are the same, I guess it's easy to get a bit bored
