The game is very good, very much worth the price asked. The aesthetic of the game is as always beautiful. It is though not very different from the last few games,my only problem with it.I appreciate the new towers added, but could you give text and a name for each tower upgrade? Its small, but I did very much like the little lore attached to each upgrade, instead of the I,II,III and IV we get now. Thanks again for this game though!
A good game, I bought the full version on this and realized only afterwards that there was no map for endless waves, which is a shame because we do not get to unlock the full potential of possible combinations between heroes and towers. overall the game is not that hard and although hard mode and challenges give something to play i am left with the disappointed feeling of not being able to milk this game as much as i'd like (like i did the original kingdom rush) will be waiting updates...
I'm a super fan of the Kingdom Rush series, 100% all games so far but this one. I could accept having extra heroes to buy in older games, but here there's also towers behind a paywall and it was a huge disappointment. While usually I wouldn't mind, some towers are just basically knock offs of older ones. This game could be amazing if the towers weren't for purchase and only extras and heroes were. Don't become like EA, Ironhide Game...
I love the new pick 5 tower system, completely refreshes the game. Too bad the branching 4th upgrades got cut for it. That being said, the new system really lets you play how you want to: want fast attacking towers? pick a few of them, how about towers that need to charge? there's also a few options, want to try different garrisons? here's 3 distinct styles! The fact that the game is now against the humanoid faction brings some much needed new enemies.
By far my favorite TD game. Not only do you play the sassy villain, but all of the towers are interesting and it's possible to 3-Star all the maps without buying from the item store. Unlocking towers with progress makes me feel like I'm working towards something, I just wish some more heroes were like that. Overall the best TD game and perfect for those who want a beatable challenge.
I have played all the TD games in Kingdom Rush, while Vengeance is both expensive and much more money hungry than other games in Kingdom Rush, I still enjoyed it. The issue for me isthat Vengeange seems abandoned midway in development, chunks of the map are empty, there is no Endless mode. So, when I paid for the game and some of its extra I was expecting replayability as in Endless maps. It just feels wrong that I buy the game, tower pack and its free brother is just more playable on long term.
I had trouble getting this game to run on Android so I got the pc version, and I have to say it might be my favorite KR game so far. I wasn't sure if I'd like the change to the tower system at first but now I prefer it. And the game still has that nice KR pay system, where you don't need to buy anything additional to 100% the game, but the extra stuff is there if you want it. My only complaint is this game is a little easy even on impossible.
It's IronHide, obviously its great! A bit of freemium, but devs deserve pay with this quality, not to mention adds to other projects. It's KR but playing the Bad guys! As usual it gets VERY Challenging but is a beaut and balanced for creating strategy. The only problem with most of KR's (the first had one) it's missing a bestiary. They provide pics n descripts but only for first encounter and I like to look at all the enemies for fun & strategy. Please update all the games with an enemy gallery!
I am a huge fan of this series, and made a point to beat all of the other ones before buying this one. This one is awesome! It's different from the others in the fact that there is more depth; way more things to upgrade, you can select different towers to bring into battle (!!!) and the graphics are definitely updated, very smooth and lots of detail throughout all of the enemy interactions. I'm so impressed by Ironhide, and if you haven't tried Iron Marines... Do it! Ironhide devs: keep it up!!!
Too much emphasis on trying to get you to buy stuff. I think the higher difficulty settings would be pretty much impossible without buying paid for items. Shame about other paid content as well. The tower selection is good but some of the changes from previous Kingdom Rush games are a bit unnecessary, and the interface feels a bit cluttered and messy in comparison. I really liked the three save slots the previous ones had and it's a shame they got rid of it!
It's a great game, another entry into this series is great, but this also brings some complaints of mine. Personally I think there should be some more QoL things, like being able to control the audio of certain things more than just 2 linear buttons. Another QoL addition could be UI scaling because I find myself accidentally using my bottom right abilities when I don't want to, and I also dislike the removal of the ability to have multiple saves, other than those few points, good game!
The game had a cool story, the heroes are fun and the tower system is very fun, but it is worse than the other 3 in the series. The levels are generally boring, the mini campaigns are pretty much trash, also you only have one save slot. The improved graphics and the concept of the game kinda carry it.
Great game, as one has come to expect with Kingdom Rush. I didnt give a full five stars because I feel this time around there isn't enough time/ resources(?) to get the towers up to their full potential/enjoyment. And I felt the zoom out could use some tweaking. That said, I love the easter eggs, the story line is good and I find the introduction of multi tower pick n choose to be a great addition. I highly recommend this game. Worth the few dollars spent.
Still the best tower defense games despite its flaws compared to the other series. The game is a roaring good experience with fun voice overs and stellar art. The large increase in difficulty from other games combined with the learning curve of a completely revamped system of abilities to learn, really made the experience a bit difficult compared to the others.
Very fun, LOVE all the tower options (my favorite is the Zombie Graveyard) and the Huge campaign. The only thing that I found was sometimes something (just one thing in the level like a single enemy) will freeze and you can't beet the level, so you have to do it over again. But over all, super fun game and it is nice to have another Kingdom Rush game for me to play.
Only for users who like a lot of the same thing. Quite repetitive and boring, but overall okay. Just don't buy the in app purchases as they are definitely not worth it. I spent £6 on the magma dragon only to find it was a complete waste of money and that I would be better off with the free content. Kinda unhappy with this app, as I spent £10 on a repetitive game that didnt really evolve...
While the game is fun a few things really detract from it. The first is the micro transactions. While you can play the game as F2P you will have to shell out cash for upgraded heros and towers. This is especially bad since the towers are really powerful and needed for higher difficulty. What is sad is there is no in-game way to earn those upgrades.
Unlike their latest game, accurately named junk, this is a masterpiece. There are some optional extras for ££ but they are balanced and worthwhile however they aren't necessary to enjoy the game. This game finishes the storyline perfectly by offering the antagonists perspective. The graphics are a beautiful trademark for the series and the level designs are just challenging enough, with optional difficulty on each level for constant replayability. This game is definitely worth the price to play.
I beat the post game "Into The Mountains" stage but for some reason, once I beat wave 15/15 even after killing all the golem things, it just stops. Like I can move my hero, sell towers, use abilities, and the cooldown resets too, but it doesnt finish the level and I dont know why. I beat it twice already but had the same prob twice
I enjoy this game and the series very much, but I have come to a problem recently with the latest update and the new missions. On the mission City of Rivers, I am unable to complete the level. I have replayed the level multiple times and even sold all my towers at the end and it still won't end. Please do fix, thank you .
Everything about the game is good. Storyline, levels, upgrades. One thing I hate is that the screen keeps moving by itself as if trying to center or correct the position of where things are happening. It's annoying.
This game is considerably harder than the previous games. Many of the extra towers requiring some experimentation to find a working strategy. Still, I like the idea, and being able to choose the towers I want to use. It's also funny to be playing as the bad guy, in service to the antagonist of the original game.
Looks a lot better than the previous titles but doesn't feel quite the same. Increased difficulties and longer than is fun game times. Tower upgrade paths were removed. Seems like so much of the game was improved that something was missed when capturing the heart and fun of the previous titles.
The previous three games are my favorite mobile games, love the franchise. This time you can feel the push towards the pay to win model, which is a disgusting practice in my opinion. Overpriced heroes and paid towers !? It's like it's not same people who made the previous games. Anyway, I don't think I'll finish this one which for the moment it's starting to become an exercise of frustration.
