To enable 3D rendering in games there are few options. Some games have built-in option for side-by-side 3D, you should enable that if possible. Second option is to use third party software like Vireio Perception (free) or TriDef 3D (paid) to enable 3D rendering. You can also use image duplication option in KinoVR. I'm extremely confused. I installed everything, and it mirrors properly... And that's it. No split-screen, VR format. Just mirrors the exact screen onto my phone, exactly as it looks on the computer. I can't find anything in the settings to fix it either. It'd be greatly appreciated if someone can help me fix my problem. Thanks.
It doesn't work at all. My PC is a pure gaming rig (I build PC's professionally) and I have a Galaxy S8+ (more than enough juice for this application) and it just doesn't function. Not only, that, the instructions included on their cheap looking website are beyond terrible. I should have known before I spent the $10, but I really just want my money back...
The app itself worked great, and in fact, I even bought the full version a few years ago. Apparently that purchase somehow dissapeared, because now that I upgraded my phone and reinstalled it, its acting like I never bought it to begin with. I cant find a restore inapp purchases option either, so Ive essentially lost all access. Still, if you never plan on upgrading or factory resetting your phone, Its not half bad.
app just gives me a black screen, no options or anything. not impressed at all because i had pretty high hopes for this even if it only displayed my computer screen on my phone. i was looking forward to half life 2 in VR
Doesnt work. It can see my PC but when i click it i get a flash of black screen then back to menu. Sometimes it will stay on black screen with spinning waiting circle. Pc has server running thats how i can see it
Doesn't work at all. Just flashes and stops when I try connecting to the pc. I even bought the premium thinking it might work.
V 1.51 works from win7 but is extremely poor quality video. Latency is good. Unusable due to degree of pixelation.
Despite trying every setting configuration, the screens failed to display. No way I'm giving this app access to my Google account.

PC connected but no content can be synced all I gave a progress ico rolling around. Rubbish

pretty easy to make it work. they have their in house vr way of displaying output. i am shocked by the reviews of how many people cannot make it work and claim to be ehm...professionals. hrn.

Great idea but has some issues. Personally I think the full version is too expensive and in the trail version the banner pops up too much. However, I am a developer myself and I know why they are there so no hard feeling. I do however want to be able to rotate the view. When I stick my phone in the goggles the clamp keeps pressing the power butten and restarts or turns display off. If I was able to rotate the screen, the issue would be resolved and it would be much easier to use. Ta
This is a step in the right direction. It's not quite there yet though. I was playing a few games in VR 3D, but with a Galaxy S6 (still seen as a really good phone), there were a lot of disconnects. Also on hardware rendering, the screen will blink black constantly, but minimal lag, meanwhile on software, it was laggy. Both would randomly disconnect. The network was the phone directly connected to the computer via a wireless LAN hosted directly on the computer. The computer is running a 1060 nVidia GPU, 16GB RAM, and was running games on high and low settings to test. Keep improving this app, and it would definitely be recommended. I already bought pro, and it only takes 2 minutes to set up.
Kinoni support please answer this. I have checked every setting and I just can't get it right. I really want to buy this as I got it to work 99%. The only thing missing is the fact that the mouse pointer is missing. It doesn't show on the phone. I basically want to use this as a screen for my PC but I can't cos I Dont see the mouse pointer
A great VR app to play PC games in virtual reality, without the need for expensive equipment. I have a low end laptop, cheap phone and slow internet, but I still got a playable 15 FPS (roughly). This, I believe, is mainly down to the internet speed, as my laptop's resources weren't maxed out! It supports headtracking, which is great. Sensitivity will need to be change on a game to game basis, which is easy to do from the Kinoni Streamer application for computers. Quality is good. As is the amount of time you can play without their pro version advert popping up - it is a 30 second advert for the pro version every 10 minutes I believe. Apart from this one advert, everything works how you would expect a paid app to go. No other banner ads, or time limits. It does occasionally disconnect, but I think it is interference from my Bluetooth controller. This is normal, and I believe could be fixed if your WiFi, pc adapter and phone supports 5ghz. The disconnecting also doesn't happen often, I don't worry about it.
The app is not free as the term is legally defined. Don't waste your time on it's annoying pop-up ads begging you to buy it. Also, Steam don't see it as being VR gear.
If you're using this as a riftcat alternative, turn back now. its not the same thing
I am using with side by side option. It has annoying LAG and can not be used for real game. I did try software or hardware acceleration, both same LAG. I did try to use WIFI or USB with cable, same LAG.
It needs USB Tethering, wireless isn't nearly reliable enough to give a stable feed.
Every time I try to connect the app freezes and closes with no option to report a bug.
Almost OK. Tried a non SBS video on full screen with MPC and a game (Neverwinter), both with screen duplication. After a few seconds the screen on the mobile freezes. Seems promising but still needs work.
No matter what I did the app wouldn't connect to my computer, I tried USB tethering and Wifi but the app still showed no connection, I had high hopes for this app and bought the full version, but I am honestly disappointed. If the Developers are reading this please add a manual IP connection feild, so I don't have to deal with the flakey, non functioning auto connect. I understand that app development is quite hard, and what does work works well.
