Kinsa for Wireless Smart Thermometers

First, a complaint about the thermometer: The on/off switch is very hard to operate. The app connected very easily to the thermometer. Diagnosis may be helpful to someone, but superfluous for me. My chief complaint is the lack of a trend chart. It may be too much to expect, but I would like to see temperature data synced with the Fitbit app for trending there. If they would, they are able to do a nice job with trend charts. Also it would be helpful to sync with Google Fit.

Easy to use and very helpful. Assists with tracking severity and timing of temps and symptoms as well as meds given. It is especially helpful if you have multiple children sick at once. The symptoms tracker also goes in depth with descriptions and suggests when to call a doctor and the urgency of the call based on symptoms listed. Also the fact that the last temp taken automatically shows in the app with the time taken for easier recording. I love it!!

I have been using the app for months even though it is klunky and full of bugs. When I went to install this update, the new system fails to take my name and password. It was useless. No way to get phone support. I finally got an email response and had to re register under a new name. We'll see what happens. In the meantime, save your time and go elsewhere. Here's an update. The app has gotten much smoother and quicker for recording Temps. Both my wife and I use consistently.

I have had very few problems with the app. It seems to work well for me. I'm using it with both the Oral (Quick Care) and the Ear thermometers. Any problems I've had were of my own making, just errors the way I was using it. I completely recommend this app and either one or both thermometers. Mostly I have been checking temperature twice daily as a way try and get an early warning of on coming illness, especially COVID-19 or Influenza. Seems like a great buy to me.

This thermometer is the best especially if you try to keep track of your temperature for fertility reasons. It keeps a log of all your temperatures so if you forget to put it on your chart you can go back and look. I just wish it had a feature to graph out your temperature.

Redesign to add in Stand Alone Mode. Simply add in the option of stand alone mode for those who either, just want to get up and running without a hassle of having to create a log in etc. They can do that later. Offer Stand Alone Mode and you will sell more as well. Some users cannot have mobile phones at work due to security purposes thus, the thermometer double tap function button does not always work for bypass mode. Kills the deal when it locks out or wont pair with the mobile device.

This thermometer is fantastic! Not only can you take temperatures all three ways ( oral, anal, & under the arm) it can save the information if you use the app. PLUS. you can add numerous people with their own icon, add their information such as flu shots, etc. It is flexible and very easy to use as is the app!

This is the best thermometer I've ever had, and I've bought many before I found this one. This specific thermometer let's me record my family's temperature, provides me with helpful tips for anyone's symptoms. This app keeps me up to date on sicknesses that are going around such as the flu, and covid cases in my surrounding area.

Upon downloading the app and opening it. I got a message that my phone had been tampered with. This message would pop up repeatedly in the installation process

Liked the previous version, not a fan of this one. This app seems rather sterile (not a joke), lacking the diversity of available info that the previous one would allow you to access. Cosmetically, this new app version lacks the Kinsa digital status dial. This new indicator doesn't tell you much, kind of...meh.

This app takes the stress of tracking meds, symptoms and fever away. The last thing you need to worry about on top of taking care of a sick person. Everything you need to tell the doctor all in one place.

Thermometer is really good at first. Then after 6 months you have to check temp over and over cause won't give you beyond 98 when you know it's higher.

Easy to use and excellent for dad to check on baby stats while he is away for work during the week. If baby is sick he knows and I know and can log together.

I can have profiles for each family member and can easily track how each are doing instead of writing everything down. Helpful notes for when you don't have a medical degree. I got it because my bf got sick and we didn't have a thermometer. So far so good!

Right on their website no returns for buyer's remorse so if you don't like it you're stuck with it nowhere on the box does it say you have to use the app know where on the box does it say you have to sign up Google should boot this off of Google Play because they are not a quality company they are just stealing from people

Very easy to use and pair to my phone. As soon as I take my scholars temputure it recodes to their name. Then it asks a few questions about how the scholar is feeling and what to look out for. I believe it sends the information to the school nurse. This is a great idea 🙂

functionality is great (thermometer + app). app is childish & has lots of distracting elements. temperature is more repeatable + accurate than any other thermometers I evaluated (except my old mercury thermometer that is not available). measurement usually takes a few seconds. UX includes baby animals & childish graphics.

I was laying on the bathroom floor alone trying to get this thing to work and I had to get up and get my phone to just start the thermometer why is it required omg

Love this app and thermometer. It works amazing and is accurate. Which is something that is hard to find when it comes to thermometers.

This is seriously unbelievable!! Tracks everything and gives advice and much much more... Whoever designed this is awesome. My Son's Dr knows exactly when he had fever and could help him so much more. This is amazing!!

Total upgrade! This thermometer takes temp 3 ways, it's super fast and keeps a log in the App by person. App ads are minimal and noninvasive. Thermometer is easy to use. App ayout is easy to understand and pleasing to the eye. Very happy with this!

I needed a thermometer and this was the only available option. Now I need to make an account and enable location tracking to use it. Besides the UI is not intuitive at all.

Love this app helps you come up with ways to heal your child if they're under the weather very helpful record your temperature and gives it to the schools nurse

why does it ask me every time whether i want it to save the temperature?? if i didn't, i wouldn't have paid the 15 bucks extra for a smart thermometer, duh. at least make it an obvious setting rather than asking every time. and why can't i graph results, i thought i saw that earlier? over all it works ok for now, will update review with more experience later.

I was surprised how easy it is to use. Plus, it tracks the temperatures even if you don't have the app open. When you go back to the app, you can then place the temperatures to the correct person.

The thermometer either reads an error or a low temp. Rarely gives you an accurate read. I like the app idea and setup but it's useless without a thermometer that works.

This app was a lifesaver when my son was hospitalized a few years ago. I was able to give the doctor a full record of every time I took his temperature as well as his other symptoms. That record was used as a tool to diagnose his issue. This was precovid. We continued to utilize it now just to keep safe during these trying times.

Super easy to keep track of tempature. Great for mom's or anyone caringy for someone I'll.

Really like this app helps me to keep informed about my daughter's school, and the tips they give are great too.
