Kirikiroid2

Kirikiroid2 lets you play some of your private backup games of legally on Android.Doujin developers could also use it to test the kirikiri2 game on Android withoutrewrite any code/scenario (if your game do not use any custom plugin).
We do not provide any game or commercial content, please do not ask us for that.
Kirikiroid2 implement most features of original Kirikiri2 but:
- No external plugin module (or may be in the future?), only hard-coded internal plugin module
- No CD-Player and MIDI playback, all request will ignored and no exception will be thrown
- No font select window, control center, script/pad editor, and so on...
And some additional feature:
- Execute "patch.tjs" before "startup.tjs", if it exists
- Execute "RegisterData.tjs" for emulate Windows Register
- Use "xp3filter.tjs" for decoding crypted xp3 archive, see the demo for detail
- Use the fantastic libavcodec media library for decoding video/audio, you can play almost every video/audio that ffmpeg supported, just your CPU is strong enough
- You can choose OpenGL ES2 renderer instead of original software renderer, save more battery and keep cool, play smoother, but it cost more memory, and not as such compatible as software renderer :(
- Use "default.ttf" in game folder for ttf rendering if it exists, otherwise uses system font. Some system maybe has no CJK fonts, you should copy a valid ttf font and rename it to "default.ttf" in game folder.
- Use "default.cur" in game folder for virtual mouse cursor if it exists.

Copy the whole game data to sdcard or internal storage, run Kirikiroid2, pickupdata.xp3, or somename.exe if no data.xp3. Some games need xp3filter or patch,you may found it on our forum: bbs.avgfun.net The Options in Global Option menu will affect all your game, and In-Game Menu isthe game script registered functions, it will only worked in that one game. There hasno per-game option so far. If you tap two fingers on screen, it will regarded as mouse right-clicking. In virtual mouse mode, tap one finger and keep on for a while, to emulate left buttondrag; Tap two fingers for a while to emulate right button drag.

Pretty desperately needs an update. As others have said, if you download a version of 1.3.9 outside of the play store, the app still works well and is able to access data files. I've also encountered a big with Ultimate Fate/Stay Night where the audio makes a weird clicking sound every time I skip a voiceline.
Android File Permissions were preventing access to xp3 files, moving VNs to kirikidroid2 Android Data folder fixed it for me. Issue I am having now is that 4:3 seems to be enforced or I cannot get my VN to play in widescreen even when checking Fullscreen in options. Pretty annoying to have so much wasted screen real estate. An update to fix would be appreciated.
It doesn't show necessary game files, but the game files are in the correct place as shown by the internal file manager and a downloaded file manager. Thus, this does not work at all. Will be getting a refund if this does not get fixed. If it does get fixed, five stars.
I'd used the app a few months ago and everything worked fine. I refunded it because I rarely played VNs on android back then. Now I purchased it again, but it doesn't seem to detect any xp3 files, so it can't start any games. Very disappointing. I want a refund if this doesn't get fixed. Phone's a Poco F2 Pro, if it helps.
Not compatible with android11. If it cant show any files, how we can click the xp3 files? Please enlighten me, oh Greatest Genius One. This app has one super primary task BEFORE running the xp3 files: LOCATE AND SHOW THE FILES, xp3 files included.... but this app cant do that simple task. This is paid app, too. Wow. Please fix this
A fun way to read Visual novels on the road. But I wonder if it might require an update or if it's just my phone. While I was reading my VN it ended up freezing mid-sentence 3 times in a row. So in this case could the app freeze if run for long periods of time perhaps?
Doesn't even detect .xp3 files I have unlike before which makes it impossible to even start the game (and yes this used to work fine on a previous phone on Android 9). This app is totally broken on new Android versions.
Solution for not detecting Xp3 file in the app. after purchasing this app (for license), You need to download the pirated one that can be found on Google and install it instead. I hope the Devs will still have time to update this app
The emulator performs very well, but make sure to research what games are playable and patchable before using. Additionally, some games need the OpenGL option enabled to perform well.
Once I installed the app it appeared to work fine but on the browser it does no detect the .xp3 files, so this is totally unusable as it can not run any game.
If you check the project github there is a way to make this app work on newer android versions by telling it to ignore isolated storage, alternatively using an older version of the app works too.
Incompatible with Android 12. Can't read files despite having permissions and looking in the correct folder. Will amend review once updated :*
Pretty good overall, but occasionally when I launch a game the sound doesn't work, all I have to do is restart the app to fix the issue, but it would be far more convenient if I didn't have to.
If you are using android 11 or higher, forget it! Doesn't work and won't find the files.
As of right now, there is no way to access any files on my Android S10. Very promising, but with a complete lack of any working parts I can't justify a purchase.
Works on Samsung galaxy note 9. Needed to patch game files on PC, then move the folder over to Android/data/org.tvp.kirikiri2/files and select data.xp3 Please do update this app for more user friendliness.
just bought it and i don't know the path where to put the VN files... I've red some reviews and they are also having the same problem.. I'll definitely refund this if this is not fix immediately
Works Excellent, move the VN files into the Android/Data/org.tvp.kirikiri2 (using any file explorer which can access the data files) and you're good to go.
Works just fine on my end. A bit stutter-ish but does its job properly. Could do better on the UI part.
Ive been using kirikiroid for over 2 years now, its reall a good app, until i update my phone to android 11. The game suddenly became super laggy and some game cant even running, i hope the developer will update kirikiroid so its not laggy anymore. Update it please this is the only way i can play vn with my phone
It didn't show any directory. Even though I already allow storage permission. Android 10, realme UI
Horrible. The one single thing it's supposed to do doesn't work. And this is a PAID app. It doesn't detect the files you need to play the game.
Doesn't run for me since my phone got the update to android 9. Lost all my VN progress and cant get the app to run at all now...
Unfortunately, outdated. In my case simply doesn't show files inside folders.
Runs Fate/stay night Realta Nua practically perfectly. Search for "kirikiroid2 patch list" and download the "hollow ataraxia" patch instead of the "stay night" patch since it works a lot better
The app works fine, but the interface is pretty clunky. The surge of recent reviews saying it doesn't work is because android 11 messed with scoped storage, so most apps can't access anything. You can move your VNs into the app's data folder to get around it. The app (sometimes) has a popup telling you to do this too. Google also recently opened up a way for developers to contact them and explain why they need storage permissions to get them, so hopefully the developer figures that out.
