Lots of update notifications all day long, but every time I click on one I either get a blank screen and no way to access more details, or I'll get a screen that offers a weathe video but instead only queues up ads over and over. What am I missing here? Surely everyone else is not putting up with such poor function.
Like the access to local weather, but recently I keep getting announcements on my phone that "a new station alert is available". I go in to the app's settings and turn these off, but they keep turning themselves back on. I have even gone into my phones settings for this app an blocked notifications, but I still keep getting these startling announcements on my phone. I will uinstall the app if this keeps happening.
Please fix. The forecast video plays the ad, then hangs up. The top photo is nice, but the observations in upper right are small font, and the white letter color fades right into the photo and is difficult to read. A paid ad free version, like NOAA weather app, may be worthwhile.
The app itself is great, what is NOT great however is the loud, vocal alerts that happen at 3 or 4am. Unless it is an emergency I do not need to be woken up a 4 am to be told it's snowing. I love having the weather be at my finger tips, but maybe have a way to silence or opt into or out of the vocal alerts.
It's not very accurate...sorry. Now except for the immediate radar feature. Thats nice!! All the apps just push forecasted weather forward by 3 hours. For south hill Puyallup we need our own app - we're in a shadow/bubble that misses all the weather. It flows around us to Tacoma or Bonney Lake.
Video never works in this app. I haven't tried streaming though because I am always looking only for the weather. Love seeing the radar and local forecast though. Also app crashes too often. I wish it were better.
Recent versions on Android play loud voice weather alerts and the "KIRO Pinpoint Alerts" setting always resets to Enabled when the app restarts! Bug. I've no alternative but to uninstall it. Argh.
Usually very accurate. Often not quite as fine tuned as I would like for my area of Kent. Maybe we are in one of those areas that's always just a bit different from the forecast
I love this app! It's my go to for everyday of the year, when I need to know what the weather will be like where I'm going. I can pinpoint what the weather will be whether I'm going to Port Townsend, Silverdale anywhere in Wa State.
When I go to the alert and click on it,it never takes you to the story! Very frustrating.
Love the app...so much better and easier to navigate than the King5 junk app! Would give it 5 stars if traffic cams and pass reports were also listed and viewable.
Fabulous I use it everyday and I find it more accurate with the hourly weather than other sources for Poulsbo.
Notification of app no longer working as of 5/1/2019. When trying to reinstall it will not let me. What is the point of having to do this? The other stations I have on my phone never asked me this question or tell me I have to do it
Good local weather app. Would like it if we could modify the size of the widget, and for any weather app in the PNW something like AccuWeather's precipitation minute forecast with accompanying widget.
This was my favorite weather app until it started giving verbal alerts with no way to disable them, even in the middle of the night, so I've uninstalled it.
Works pretty well. Sometimes defaults to the wrong locality and sluggish to return to 'Follow me' locality.
Video doesn't always work. Alerts bring you to the app when for videos that won't play.
All I wanted to do was look the radar . I said "no now" multiple times. I don't want to do this rating but your app pretty much forced me. I don't like that. I still couldn't open your app after doing this review. So I uninstalled it.
I find that Kiro 7 has more accurate weather forecasts than any of the other stations.
The app does not play. It starts then stutters then it just closes automatically.
Straightforward nothing fancy and easy-to-navigate gives me just what I need.
STOP THE VOICE ALERTS! It has disrupted my meetings with clients! You keep freaking my clients out. Especially my older clients! Some keep thinking that I am on the phone with someone while discussing business!
This has the best & most accurate , timely information.

So far I don't like the new format. I really liked the old one. Now it looks like all the rest of them.

Since the update Kiro stuck an ad/forecast in the middle of the home page. The daily columns are out of wacky, some of the fonts do not fit the columns.
