This game already had many issues as I was playing. Almost anything I clicked a message would appear saying "unexpected error occured," but it was at least still playable. However now even though I'm logged into Facebook, it reset my progress all the way to the beginning and I can't seem to restore it. Don't play this game unless you like losing your progress. I'll update if this is fixed. *update* They seemed to have fixed it. Helpful support. Thank you.
Love this game! It would be nice if you could take your coins with you into new restaurants like you can with other cooking games. It would make it easier when trying to upgrade cooking items. It's hard enough to progress through the game without having to purchase extras, being able to take the coins with you into new restaurants (worlds) would be extremely beneficial and helpful!
Just reinstalled this game after removing a while ago after going as far as I could with it. Wow I have to say I love the new look. Lost my progress but was rewarded handsomely with tons of goodies, plus I get to enjoy all over again. Hopefully upgrades won't become too expensive. Flowmotion are one of the top time management game developers around, offering up addictive gameplay and some of the best graphics I have seen on a cooking game. Top job guys.
The levels are easy to pass which is the best thing ever, and there are so many levels to play. I highly recommend this app because you just tap on the food to serve it to the customers and for the food to get on the hamburger or hot dog buns unlike cooking fever where you have to drag everything. The timing is great; it's not that fast. You actually have time to give them the food. The beginning levels are serving burgers, fries, hot dogs, Coca-Cola, the toppings are ketchup, lettuce, cheese.
Can't click out of ads, it takes six or seven times of me pushing the x to get out of the ad. Every other time, somehow clicking the x takes me to installing whatever game they are advertising for. Too annoying to keep. If you don't spend money, game play is super slow, you end up playing the same levels at least 20 or more times to get gems to upgrade. The games and ads have trouble turning when I turn my phone. The game ends up upside down a lot (without me turning my phone)and loses lives.
The game is much better than the way it was when I first started playing it. actually I was planning on uninstalling it as I just couldn't get past the level in the second restaurant I was stuck on, when this big update came up I wasn't going to let it update but accidentally did so I decided to see if anything had changed noticeably and found it had completely changed and I was restarting it. I definitely like this version way better and am not going to uninstall it after all. thanks !
Terrible grind and not much else. Later levels set goals specifically to make you spend an enormous amount of money on upgrades (it's especially funny because this game looks and plays like a simplistic free flash game, yet wants as much money as some AAA - level projects). Oh, it also makes you watch 30 second ads every minute. Or when you just pause the game. Or just randomly, whenever it feels like. Certainly one of the most shamefully - greedy projects I have ever seen.
fun to play but hard to get anywhere due to lack of gems. everything needs gems and you don't earn enough while playing. almost every upgrade needs gems and unless your willing to purchase them, it will take a long time to get anywhere. the ads are ridiculous. You pause your game and have to watch a 30 second ad just to play again, not to mention the 5 second ads after almost every round. Those are the cons. the game when you can play it is a really fun game
I was waiting for the longest time for the game to finish building the restaurant after I finished all the levels of the previous update. Came back and all my progress had been deleted and the new graphics are way too bubbly. I really used to love this game and it was the only cooking game I ever stuck with, but after this update, I don't think I can play anymore.
I played this game awhile back and checked it out recently again. I'd say it degraded from what it once was. The blue hue loading screens give it a cheap feel and the lady is just way to creepy and interrupts from the otherwise beautiful art, though the loss on realism with the giant burger and such wasn't something I wanted to come back to. Before without all that it was an easy to control game with pretty art that immersed you. I also find the extra animations make it slower.
I'm really enjoying this game. Addicted to it, but please try to add in diamonds as a gift, at least one diamond per level for every 3 stars achievement of the level. Gaining diamonds is rare and it delays in upgrading..sometimes certain levels are hard without upgrading the items. So tend to get frustrated from not winning and closing the game. Thanks for such a great game and please take this into consideration.
I've had a ton of fun playing this game. But it is frustrating that there are levels where you can chain every single order with a fully upgraded menu and still not reach the money goal and be forced to use gems to clear it. Or the goal might be a certain number of dishes and you just won't get that many orders. Most levels can be cleared with enough tries and I found it easy to earn gems, so it wasn't too bad.
Hard to save diamonds to purchase upgrades, but other than that a fun and addicting game! I would rate 5 starts if I didn't have to rely on diamonds so much. And sometimes it's hard to tell what the objective is at the beginning of each level but that could just be me. Still over all a great way to past time.
the concept is great but am giving you only 2 stars because of the annoying ads that keep popping up out of nowhere and you literally shove it into our throats when we will have to click back 5 times in order to exit the ad!!!! so annoying..and the fact that we struggle to collect diamonds and it takes days so we can skip your impossible missions is really annoying
The game is well designed, good recipes, works fast. But too many diamonds required to upgrade items. (You can watch ads but there's also ads in the game). Plus they rarely give free boosts. And too much screen space is wasted, making items smaller than other games. If these things were fixed the game would be 10x better.
Didn't get past the first graphic. I even restarted my phone and uninstalled/reinstalled the game. Nothing worked. I have a relatively new phone, as well (Galaxy S9+). This should not be happening. I've also noticed that a large number of reviews show that this problem is not an isolated issue. It is something that has been brought up multiple times and the developer(s) are simply turning a blind eye on the situation. Very disappointing...
While this game is fun, my interest is lost when you increase in levels which increases how much things cost that make it nearly impossible to pass levels because you don't have the cooking equipment you need. That needs to change because I'm not going to play the same level 100 times to earn coins. Make things more cost friendly.
The updates was a messed. All the previous level was gone. Unlike any other app that whenever there is an update they make the game better while continuing the progress of the game, but with this Kitchen Craze app the progress was all gone. Time to uninstall. Edit : thanks for the reply, if that is the case, i suggest that the update will not erased all the progress of the players. You should keep it while putting additional levels. Thanks.
I agree, it is difficult to earn enough gems for upgrades, but if you play the levels long enough and so the daily challenges, you will eventually be able to pass them. My biggest problem and the reason I gave this so few stars is because there were 2 new levels. I had one more star to earn to play the next level and I log in today and the 2 newest levels are now gone. I spent so much time to pass the Spicy Kabob level and now it's just gone. Wasted my time.
Seems like the game would be fun, if i could play more than a few levels at a time without the game crashing and booting me out. Ive only gotten to level 4 and have had this happen twice already. Both times as the ads were playing. The ads glitch and then go black and i get kicked out of the game and have to restart it.
This is a fun game. I really prefer the click and tap action instead of the dragging action that a lot of these kinds of cooking games have. As with most games, the ability to advance can depend on your willingness to pay actual cash for virtual items. I did find that the starter pack was a good investment because it removed ads, but now that I am running low on gems again, I'm not sure how I feel about needing to pay to advance. We'll see.
I liked this game until I hit the 2nd level of the 3rd restaurant. The goal is to get 9 likes, but there are only 8 customers. So it's literally not possible to beat the level without extending the play, which I find pretty slimy.
Great game but 2 issues... I usually love games like this. Graphics are good and it's super addictive. BUT the game doesn't award many of the gems you need for upgrades so you end up buying them. I know they want to make $$ but at least some gems should be earned somehow. Its a little repetitive. The cooking tasks in each level should be different not just same tasks with difft ingredients
I have loved the game so far. I very much like being able to tap the items rather than drag them, to me, this makes all the difference in cooking game play. I only wish it was cheaper when upgrading equipment. the upgrades are costly when compared to earnings made. Overall, very good game!
On top of having extremely high cost to upgrade items the game keeps shutting off after I have selected an upgrade. Thats not cool at all. The number of levels to get to the next kitchen is extremely long. Not worth any more of my money. I have spent $25 only to realize to upgrade an item cost 3000 - 5000 coins plus 15 -20 gems. 10000 coins and 200 gems gone in two days. Very disappointing.
Game starts out very agonizingly slow!!!kitchen equipment & food products can't be updated until you're in at least the third or fourth round of the game. In the meantime customers keep coming in and you don't have enough product or kitchen pans to produce the amount of food the customer is ordering. Game needs some little adjustments other than that the game is pretty cool.
Update- this game started fun but the jewels are too hard to get and moving ahead in the game depends heavily on them. Just not enjoying the waiting, too much like work. Going to uninstall. - Really enjoying this game. While there are ads, they are not intrusive. Great for hand-eye coordination, too.
I like this game but like others have mentioned, it's hard to get enough jems to upgrade. and if you don't upgrade its hard to beat a level. Also, I've had issues with some of the food items getting stuck. when i tap for it to go to a certain person it doesn't work so I end up losing that level because the person walks off with no food. (level 119 for example).not sure if it's a glitch or what.
