I honestly didn't read any of the reviews for this game prior to downloading it. I played the first 3 levels and completed all levels. There's no other level after the 3rd one! This would be a great game...you only lose a life when you lose the level, it has easy options to make upgrades... If there were any other options besides the 3... Sadly, it's been almost a week and no update. I will uninstall the game, it's a waste of space after completing all the levels. Could be a 5-star game but NO!
It's a good game with some issues. The main issue for me is that once you've put down an ingredient on a device, you can't pick it back up. So if you accidentally put a wrong ingredient, you now have to make a whole other dish. The difficulty level is already quite high, and this will make sure you fail any level on time. Please change this. Otherwise good game. Personally I prefer the original, but not sure you can even compare. The lives and not groceries is great though.
IT IS NOTHING AT like the original. I was hoping it would be similar, but it's a downgrade. It's like any other cooking game now. I hate that once you add an ingredient to a station like the stand mixer or the oven you cannot pick it up again if it's the wrong ingredient you have to add other ingredients to make and then discard the wrong dish, considering the ridiculously short time they allow for the challenges. They did reduce the amount of time it takes for your "lives" to regenerate.
Downloaded it because I loved the first one and I was REALLY enjoying this 2nd version. After playing quite a few levels the game just crashes upon opening. I open the game, it loads to the daily gift and crashes. I've tried several times...It's really disappointing. I don't want to delete the game and redownload it to try and play again. I'm very close to just uninstalling all together because otherwise it is just taking up space on my phone.
Love playing this game but no new worlds have been added for a long time now. There's also an issue with the daily challenges. You can only play specific levels and sometimes the challenge is impossible to complete. For example one of the tasks is sometimes to use a "more customers booster". There isn't an option to use this booster in the levels provided. All in all its fun to play and I love playing but for these reasons I specified I am giving only 3 stars
This is such a nice game, I love this kind of cooking game. But tell me, how many times do I need to tap for her to grab things?? This is so annoying, the game just stop responding to the tapping making me tap countless times on the same item until the time runs out or I enventually make some mistake and lose the level I'm playing. And curiously, it only started happening after level 20. Please fix this.
I really enjoy the premise of the game and the gameplay. Made it to last level and working on 100% completion now. However there are many very frustrating bugs that would keep me from ever spending $ on this game. The extender power ups after failing a level don't work correctly using the +18 seconds acts like the +6 seconds and only gives one customer sometimes and there's a lot of glitches in taco truck with food completly disappearing when replacing what's on stove and more. Please fix.
January 2021 - still crashing. I played the original Kitchen Scramble and like how much faster this is, plus the world dishes. Well, when it worked. It's been almost 2 weeks since the app worked. It works until claiming the daily reward and then when you tap 'claim' the game freezes and crashes. Have alot of cash from retrying levels, otherwise would delete app. I did send feedback a few times and it's updated to 8/21/20. Update 10/11/20: still not working.
My app freezes alot. Making it impossible to play for days at a time. I really like the cotent of the game. I do not see me keeping this app on my phone unless these bugs are fixed. 4.26.20 Well the game had been working again. I was so excited to see that it was a new level avaible with the upgrade. Then i upgrade, now its crashing again😨. Please fix bugs so I can play. That is my only complaint.
I really do like the game but it's not finished being developed. I've completed all 3 levels and been waiting for new ones for a while. Meanwhile, I try to complete the goals but many of them I cant complete. For example, I'm trying to complete a goal by using 3 candies and I can't use them. I really wish this gets fixed soon.
Well, I was playing, got to the 2nd truck Noodles, got a new device, had to reinstall and lost all progress because there is absolutely no way to save progress in the game, so Thank God I didn't spend money, I'm just going to uninstall it because there is no way I'm doing ALL those levels again, just to lost it again in the future. That's awful.
Great game but once you place and item you cant remove it. Makes it very difficult to correct a mistake. You end up with no work space or items in both hands that you cannot remove unless you trash them. On some boards once you trash an item you lose the board. I have been playing cooking scramble 1 for years and love it. This game has lots of potential just like it's predicessor.
It was fun to play but the last several times I haven't been able to open it. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it but had to start from beginning and same thing keeps happening. Will uninstall if it isn't fixed. Editing to 1 star. Sent several reports about game freezing and crashing right after opening and problem not solved and no response from developers. I'm guessing they either don't care or are incapable of fixing. Don't waste your time you'll only get frustrated
Game is okay. No ads good. Still would recommend. Not challenging enough and it gets boring. If you grew up playing these type like cooking dash, this might bore you. Improve on some stages where it gets redandant on tasks. Imagine cooking only miso soup but it has 10 customers for that food you can only cook in that stage. We get the process of cooking but it just didnt appeal to me. Why it needs 10 customers for 1 recipe only. Repetion to understand better, no. Improve this.
Really love this game but it keeps crashing and you have to reinstall or wipe the data and then restart at the beginning all over again as there is no way to save your progress. They need to have to option to do so then I would rate it higher.. I have reduced it to one star because it crashed again after having to restart the game..
So much better than the first game. I had to quit KS1 at level 454 as it became unplayable, but this is superb. It's super slick and responsive, looks and sounds beautiful and gives amazing rewards. The new update has improved things even more. The only negative is only 3 venues and am patiently awaiting a new one, which I am looking forward to. As a veteran player of cooking games, this one is in my top 3 along with Cooking Crush and Rising Super Chef 2. Excellent work and kudos to the team!
Fun game but full of bugs! There is a timer for lives to regenerate that means nothing, supposed to get 1 life every 20-30 minutes but after several hours, I only got 2. You can't submit a support ticket without a Facebook or player code but there is no code, no help section, no option to link to Facebook or anything else to save progress. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling only to have to start over completely. Plus there is no way to skip the beginning tutorials to just get to playing.
It would be nice to have a place to set a dish down. It needs to reload hearts faster. The touch sensitivity is not responsive enough. I do like the game. When are more levels coming out? I started playing in December. Three months is a long time to only have 3 levels that you can't even go back and replay.
I love this game and play several times a day. It really is addictive. It's very fast paced and challenging and keeps my brain working. Admittedly I don't spend money on it but I ALWAYS watch videos to earn gems and double my rewards. I only hope that some new levels will be available soon. I still go in every day and do the daily tasks etc but it would be nice to play properly again. Also, would you consider adding some sort of 'holding plate' feature to the levels. Many thanks :)
Like the game so far. Prefer original Kitchen Scramble game but it won't load on my new phone. Main complaint is the lady who rides the scooter. Buying upgrades and tapping to claim is time consuming. Noodle game is confusing because many of the dishes require the same ingredients with a minor swap. If I grab the wrong thing I'm wasting my time making the wrong dish or have to put an ingredient back which is NOT as easy as tapping the shelf. You have to tap it twice.
3 stars. Why not 5? Because, the amount of money needed to upgrade your kitchen items is VERY expensive. The game is good. Graphics are amazing. BUT, sometimes when you tap on something it doesn't go through, so you have to tap it more than once for it to function properly.
I actually liked the first kitchen scramble better. This one is not bad though, just very much like many other games. Play each level three times, buy all upgrades with animations that don't change much if at all. I like that it doesn't require friends to unlock new levels like the original though.
This is the 2nd time the game won't start up. It doesn't save progress outside of the game so if you have to uninstall it, YOU LOSE EVERYTHING!!! I can't take it anymore. I made it to the third truck for nothing. Plus, get a new device you will lose everything anyway. There are similar games out there that actually saves progress to the cloud. Stick with them.
I'm not sure what makes Kitchen Scramble the best cooking game, but number 2 has it has well. Super fun! Right about the time you get tired of cooking a certain cuisine, it is time for a new level. Updating the food and equipment is done without cash. Highly recommend.
They trap you into thinking this game takes actual skill to win levels. The only way to win levels is not by how fast you complete a level but by how many upgrades you have (upgrade ingredients). Upgrades take cash and to acquire cash you beat previous levels. Problem is they lock you out of a level after 3 wins! So you need to watch adds or purchase coins to progress. Garbage.
Responsiveness is terrible and the powerups are a waste of usage. Some levels are completely impossible too early on without paying to win with extra chances even with fully upgraded tools and ingredients. Very disappointing with how much I loved the first one. Lives instead of groceries was a great improvement though.
Some levels are really difficult. Overall it's a very fun game. I like how you have the option of doubling coins or some extra seconds by watching an ad. Ads are not obtrusive at all, thanks for that! I think the "play for 3 days in a row" achievement has a glitch because I can't get the reward, but have been playing for several days now. I also get the daily reward so please fix that one. Thanks!
