Kite by Zerodha - Free trading

This has been ridiculous app since last few days. My trade was in profit and even I wanted to square it off.. The order didn't get through for half an hour and i ended up making huge loss just because they had some weird technical issue. These type of issues are popping up quite frequently and its not at all good as we end up losing our hard earned money. This app does not deserve even a single star. WORST EVER.

The UI is clean and not compliccated. But is not user friendly. Few suggestions- The watchlist tabs are on top, which makes it difficult to switch watchlist when operating with one hand. Having the tabs at bottom would be useful(similar to kite ios app). Other option would be to switch tabs by swiping right/left. Currently swipe is used to delete a ticker from watchlist. Delete button can be added to the ticker row(next to chart, buy, sell).

Absolutely zero transparency during the auto square off time. Horrible experiences so far as they try to let you go through maximum losses eventhough there are adequate buyers/sellers as applicable. Not sure if the algorithm is designed that way specifically, if there is one! Additionally, we often see issues with gateway timing out or validation pending issues which are painful. The bottomline is that never put your funds in their hands and if you do, square off all positions before 3:20 PM.

Most of the time hold or positions shows previous buy or sell values and calculate according to that. Whenever market is suddenly moving upward, it get blocked to buy. It seems to be intentional. You did excellent job for graphs, easy to use. just need above improvements. Thanks for the app.

Market pulse is hundred times better than TradingView when you fit in mobile. When i want to move chart with fibonacci drawn, Fibonacci moves but chart don't move, lines drawn moves but chart don't. It doesn't save settings as default settings. Every time i have to change background and candle colors. To much wastage of screen space in scales, top menu, bottom ribbon.

Flat trading app. For each thing like MF, IPO, Margin calculation, Market news, Market snapshot, Indices, Research, Price alert, Reports etc we have to use a seperate app for it or we will be redirected to a webpage. We can't know exposure provided for a script. Info provided for a stock is basic and insufficient. All option-futures and bse-nse should be displayed within the script. UI is simple and flat but it can be beautiful and should be customisable. I just want to say all those services you

For a Sell cover order, when I trailed my stop loss after some time through this app, it did not update the order as per the amount that I entered even though the stock was trading much lesser than the amount which I had entered, instead it put a much higher amount as the stop loss and hence put me at a loss. I wonder if such bugs exist even in the web version as well. Please update the app and the desktop version of yours ASAP for such bugs.

The app is not well thought through, as far as privacy and security is concerned. For instance, if for some reason your scanned cheque is rejected due to not being clear, the app offers no way to re-upload a fresh copy. Instead, some sales person of Zerodha will contact you and ask for you to send him all pending scans. To anyone having some idea of security, the flaws of such a system (or lack thereof) will be obvious. Security of personal data, signature, cheques etc. seem to be a low priority

One of the proper and best discount brokerage firms and plethora of investing options provided on a single platform. Just that we have to face some occasional problems in placing orders, which gets resolved fast but, then again the opportunity loss. Overall it is a great app. To developers: please bring the T-bill and Bond investing to the app or Coin.

The app gets struck most of the times. You will not be able to place order during the important times of market. This infact has induced me losses despite the fact that my targets were right. This app needs lots of improvement. Moreover its not free trading account. It charges fee every year. Additional to the brokerage and other charges.

very risk app not able to manage too much volitile market. Also lots of time having issue to get login .Many time i cut my position with in huge loss . just because not able to login also support number busy . Need too Much Improvement i know you are the discount broker, but if you plan to enter into this universe try to maintain some standard. ultimately it is a client who need to suffer all technical as well as system problem in terms of lossing money.

Delay in settlement has to be rectified. Modifications/Order placements are stuck some time.Not getting proper support from the customer care.Always asking for the screenshots which is not possible in a second.Customer care team is unable to raise a ticket based on the complient over the call. Application is user friendly and simple.I liked it. Charges are less and affordable. Need improvement in many areas,it looks Toplevel Management is very active while Tech support team is very dull.

The app has many flaws such as left swipe deletes the company from the marketwatch list and we can't name the groups that we make. Its a normal tendency to left swipe to the next page, so instead, you can make right swipe for deleting and left swipe for switching to the next page and also allow to name the groups that we make and also 5 is pretty less. I would like to have a few more.

1. There must be an option to see the market depth for stocks that are in holding. generally we need to find the specific stock again in different watch lists. 2. More watch list window are required around 10 3. sorting option in watchlist. 4. sector wise prefilled watchlist can be good approach for new users as well as for frequent.

I would have given a minus if that option was possible. The sign-in process is very tedious and doesn't happen in the first go. When you reload the page, they ask for you to sign-in credentials when they haven't been created yet. The worst app ever. And mind you, they deny to refund the amount you've paid and not gone through the sign-up process. Judging by the comments here, i see a lot of people have faced the same trouble. I guess that's how they make their money

i have an account on this..! and sometimes it feels as if its the worst ever! My Functions got cleared automatically, logged me out, and later I'm not able to login for any of my devices!!! This happens quite rarely.. but shouldn't happen during holding any positions and trading hours.

Kite app is good but zerodha, you have to improve kite. Charts are not working properly. there is always a differrence in CMP and chart price. Also charts are very slow I mean in market watch you can see price moving but chart is stuck at certain price. Please look at it. also many times there is login issue. Please do something immediately.

As we compare the app to other companies, its totally worst and seems not good at all.. it has to improve the features, portfolio, buying & selling equity.. kindly change the options to be clear and easily understand the ups and downs, its very difficult to find one by one ... do the some thing creativity..

I have recently started using the app...but one thing I miss is the price alert feature...we can buy by using LMT , but what if we just want an alert????? Please add this feature. Also you can add a feature such that by selecting an indice you can see the stocks present in the list. Hope this helps...giving 3 stars bcoz missing these features..

Pros: 1) very light on phone 2)quick 3)easy of access 4)quick look on any stock events and news before buying. 5) secure Cons: 1) Need to improve drawing tools in charts (Ease of access mainly) 2)should give multichart in same screen and not popout chart. 3) should be able to hide the watchlist to make chart window bigger. 4) If repetative purchase on intraday, should not average with the old purchase on same day, this leads to confusion.

Many issues coming up with this app since 3-4 months. there is lagging and just missed stop loss function three times in a week as it did not execute where it should be getting triggered. Fix this app as it is affecting day trading and profit booking.sometimes we want to take stock on market price but then app crashes and we miss the call. Guys you have a good reputation and please do not ruin it. Need an update on stop loss issue.

Fast and accurate. Need more fearures in watch list. only 40 stocks per page. Changing pages is little pain and not very convinent. In watchlist instead of list format display stocks in grids and color(Red and Green). Grid format can accommodate more stocks almost near to 100 in each page. No stock deapth feature in holdings page. Finding accurate withdrawal balance is little difficult. Please create feature like "withdrawal all amount" Many other features needs improvement. Overall is ok.

Need to improve how Marketwatch is organised on mobile interface. 1) should provide a way to sort the list, so that I dont have to scan through the whole list. 2) No easy way to find out if the security is already added in the watchlist.

Application required continuous improvement. It should have the provision of viewing the Low and High price band while placing the order. Else, it always get rejected and waste the time. Bring new update to have all the basic needed information during order placements...

beat trading platform. I love the app. its very easy to use. i would suggest them to add a feature to segregate the securities in different portfolio. The charts are very good with many indicators.
