Why does this kitesurfing app now, after the latest update, require access to my phone calls/history, contacts and stored information. Seriously?

Old vid tech (they should use Brightcove), but great quality content.
The videos are good, however; the lack of screen-casting is deal-breaker. I purchased this so my family could watch the videos before we take lessons in December. Try having a family of 4 sit around a smart phone to watch these videos. I am changing my rating to 1 star. I purchased an Android box so I could watch these on my TV with my family because of the lack of screen cast, but the app does not work with my MBOX. The app started up one time, but now it will not respond to the remote. The advertisements on their website brags "Play anywhere". It should say "Play anywhere - except on your TV where you want it most"
The app is rather basic though. Like old. No casting. Not even simple repeat controls. Can't have app and downloads to external card. Have bought everything except "Professional", so it's frustrating to think of those using cracked content conveniently stored to card, and run in a good video app.
Best content on learning to kiteboard
Everything is great except the lack of chromecast and desktop support. Come on guys we want the bigger screen! I'm dropping to 2 stars only because many of us have been asking for chromecast support for a long time now. Postscript: I appreciate the response from you guys. Back to 3 stars. As a kiter learning to jibe my new surfboard, I want to see you get those kitesurf videos out, but I can't see paying for them until I can chromecast them to the TV to watch large and in comfort the night before a session. chromecast support is going to net you guys a lot more stars (5 from me) as well as customers. I hear other people complaining about it too at my kitebeach. Nobody wants to watch only on a phone.
Watching these videos on a 3" phone is an awful experience, there is no Cast function so a 7" tablet is as big as it gets. The contents is great just a real shame is locked down to crappy apps.
A great app with friendly helpful admin and tech support. Always a bit slow to get material out, but worth the wait. I agree with Jon Kurtas - chromecast add on would make this app the business
Would be better with Chromecast. Right now you are stuck to watching the videos on a tiny screen. Videos are good though.
Simply the best kite boarding app, and can now move to sd card, so no more issue with space on your phone, thanks for finally sorting that 👍
Now it's been updated and we can move everything on SD card, great app, videos are very well made and the pedagogy is good. Thx to help us improve at being a better kitter.

Best how-to vids in the industry IMO. Great easy to navigate app. Excellent value.
Clear and concise videos and instructions. Covers the basic beginner stuff as well as advanced tricks, all in one place. I consider it a good investment!
Love this app great videos, but my only complaint is needs Chromecast support, please add asap. Note have found a way to Chromecast by using screen cast on my nexus 5
Got one of these dvds from my instructor, he told me to watch it before I start my first lesson, after watching it my confidence is high cause I have an understanding of what to expect and what can happen and what to do in certain situations good or bad.
As title says instructions are good but video packages are overpriced. Professional need updates with new tricks belair etc

I like the content but why is the cost for the surf videos £38.99 via the app but $39.99 via the web. Why is the UK price equivalent to almost $48.
