It's okay, but the customer service is limited and annoying. I rarely find any deals on Kiwi; Skyscanner is what you want to use primarily. Kiwi works for booking, but checkout is a nightmare. Also beware of misleading advertised prices and discounts. I gave two stars before, but I'm taking one away because these bots keep trying to get me to change my review after refusing to apply a $26 promo on a $340 purchase. Why is this a big deal?
Do not book anything with Kiwi. Only use it for research and book the flights directly with the carriers or another, more reputable, travel service. When calling their helpline, I was given incorrect information not once, but twice, that resulted in me spending significantly more to get home. The flights might be a little cheaper, but all those savings will go up in smoke if there's ever one small problem with the airline.
Do not use this app. I booked 4 flights and one of them got changed. Their opinions gave me a refund of 30% of the whole itinerary and other options of rebooking are very expensive. Although if I rebook the tickets again with the new options it costs the same thing. Their solutions are very inconvenient and vague. And they only want you to pay more. Very bad service and so disappointing.
Simply a scam. They cancelled the flight without serious reason and prior warning. Additionally, although the cancellation was on their part,their refund policy is that you might get a small percentage of the money back after 3 months (that's also a maybe). Clearly,an easy way to make money out of people, without providing the service
No customer service, unless you pay for it - many add-on on the app. Got directed to kiwi first by the momondo app. If you need to get a hold of kiwi you have to pay. Made a reservation without an account and made a mistake on the email address, now the reservation is lost in oblivion and cannot access the reservation... It is impossible. They've charged my cc already.
Fraud service. One of my flight changes required a visa, but there was no mention of it while booking the ticket. The long queue for the visa made me miss my flight, and there was no option to refund the ticket either. Moreover, the flight delays don't show up on the app. There were also problems while checking in and boarding because the operators had to manually input my information and print a new boarding pass, while this problem wasn't faced by anyone else in the queue.
I had booked a ticket which the airline had changed to a earlier departure time. The airline even offered a full refund. As I would have to book another flight I asked kiwi if I can get the refund or even a credit with them so I could still book a flight. After speaking with 4 different 'consultants' I was told yes then no I can only get $10 back as it was a 'voluntarily' refund. I was then told I could get the full refund but will take up to 3 months? Avoid!!!!
The worst. They have cancelled my flight. Refund policy: Option 1) They refund you only 100 £ doesn't matter how much you have paid. Option 2) Three months lead time for the refund and you don't know how much you can get. Option 3) You pay a fee and they will assist for for the refund... who knows how much you can get. Stay away from Kiwi!!! Never ever again
Just horrible.... I have previously only used kiwi in efforts to find cheap rates to book directly with the airline. However, on this rare occasion, I use kiwi to book the flight indirectly. Subsequently, an extra 10 hours and 21 minute delay was added as my itinerary. Contacted the airline and credit for the entire trip was issued but returned to kiwi. Now waiting on kiwi to pass said credits to me. 🤬
cancels booked flights after 24 hour. No customer servic! the message indicates due to high call volume they can't take the call but after re-reading the terms they indicated you must pay in order to access the customer service option. it's a total hoax and I had a terrible experience.
Good app to look for flights and connections, but in connections that generally suffer changes or cancelations don't give you any help, moreover, when it occurs if you reserved by Kiwi (agency) you can't to solve (make changes) directly with carrier, and Kiwi only offer you a new flight, so you lost your money with your reservation canceled 😭
There was a mishap with my flight, a mistake on their part, I had to go back and forth with customer service to get it fixed but ultimately I have a refund on the way and a voucher for my troubles. Customer service needs improvement but if you get the right person on the line, they will sort out the issues.
Worst booking company I have ever used. Brought tickets, flight got cancelled in 2020, and I'm still waiting for my refund. There is no one to talk to on customer service just a generic 3rd party call centre. Surprised to see they are still allowed to function on Skyscanner after all the negative reviews I have seen since booking with them.
Downgrading this to 1 star I booked a flight with a check-in baggage When I arrived to the check-in counter, I was told that my check-in bagage was not registered in the system therefore I cannot take it. This was confusing to me. The argument took long until a check-in agent explained that this happened quite often and she wrote me a memo for the refund of the fee I paid. Needless to say this flight had short boarding time and I almost missed it. I learned my lesson
Poor experience. Impossible to add my flight booking inside the app even though I have booked with Kiwi. Lots of app developers are inefficient. Nevertheless this app is probably not worse than any other app in the flight traveling industry where all services are extremely poor at best or simply non existing even when you are forced by some countries to book with their national carrier for more money. Of course in the old days the service was top notch but only the elite was flying.
Avoid Kiwi - unexplained extra fees, cancelling flights last minute, confrontational customer service. Worst travel agency I've had the displeasure of dealing with. Use them to compare flights and then book them yourself direct through the airlines so they can't scam you.
Because of the pandemic in 2020 my flights were cancelled. Said I have a refund credit. Tried to} rebook flights but get no response from the company to use my credit for another flight this year. I can now give a better review for this company as I have recently had contact with customer service and had a satisfy solution to my problem. This is due to the understanding and help from the member of staff (J) who was very conscientious with his service. Thank you very much.
The worst booking agency ever, seriously searched for a trip for me and recommended that 1 hr is enough to check in at the other airlines for Transit. I've missed my flights due to this. I ended up paying more than a direct flight. NEVER USE THEM IF YOU WANT SOME PEACE OF MIND. Also, they make it clear that it's your fault for not paying the kiwi guarantee, and we all know even if you did, they would look for another excuse. SERIOUSLY I WISH I HAVE NEVER BOOKED WITH THEM
Scam. I don't recommend this app at all. Useless customer service. There's 1 day remaining for my departure date and they keep asking me for more time and patient to make the changes I requested on my ticket. Is this a joke? They say British Airways didn't reply to the webform and neither the calls. Took me less than an hour speak directly with the airline and they told me Kiwi has to contact them. Kiwi fail doing their job. Worst customer service ever.

I've had issues everytime I used this service, including my flight being confirmed in the app (and paid for) but actually not booked with the airline. The customer service is incompetent, time-consuming and frustrating... I'm surprised they are still in business !
i booked tickets with options of 1 cabin bags for multi city flights but Kiwi cheated by booking bag only for one leg while for others we have to pay at airport. Also the cost of bag charged was 35 Euros while at airport they charge only 29 Euro. Big Cheaters....I will never use this app and website for booking.
Scam!!!!! Avoid at all costs. Go directly to the airline! Filtered by exact dates so after searching for hours, found 1 that finally met need, clicked buy without hesitation. But the itinerary auto switched the flight to next day. Clicked options and it let me rebook on correct date but instead of 2 flights and 1 change, trip had 4 changes and I had to selfcheck in/out bags between flights with minutes between, IMPOSSIBLE! Asked for refund...gave me $11.00. $11 of the $1250. TOTAL BAIT & SWITCH!
Didn't receive my tickets after purchasing, I did get the bookingnumber but not possible to talk to support unless the trip gets registered within Kiwi. The supportmail that I tried to contact wasn't active anymore, and was only possible to talk to a bot on their Facebook supportpage, which lead nowhere So much for purchasing extra support-addon that they recommended. Had to buy new tickets elsewhere The interface & whole closed ecosystem was nice however, if it would work
Haven't seen more useless company. Booked from them with 1 stop, they gave 1 hour between the flights which is illegal thing to do. I lost my flight, I was trying for hours to solve their mess. Asked for refund and after a month they came back to me with a cancellation of request. This people think that money come like that. Never ever book from them. Unless you wanna get ripped.
Terrible. I purchased 2 tickets from California to Louisiana, with a short layover in Vegas. After Kiwi confirmed the tickets, they gave me the boarding passes to Vegas, saying the other half would process in flight. After almost 8 hours of being stuck in Vegas, and talking to 10 Kiwi agents (most barely spoke English), they said they had a flight the next day. They also said they would pay for our hotel, travel, and food. But all they did was choose a fancy hotel and stick me with the fees.
The app is terrible for trying to contact customer service, feels like going in circles but never getting the option you need, the company is really difficult to actually speak with and get hold of, will never use again. 6 weeks and still no response, unbelievable customer service, the reply from kiwi to original post is nonsense, no one will respond
Never going to use again. They charged me €30 for passenger details changes with no fault at my end. When I clicked Add Passenger Details they submitted my expired document's details without any confirmation before submitting and the only way to fix was to pay for passenger details change service. Congratulations you got your fee, but you just lost another customer.
Extremely frustrated, annoy and dissapoint If they cancel the trip then consider the money and refund as gone as you will never get anything from them as they will avoid full responsibility by saying that they are the providers. Its almost impossible to communicate with them. They have extremely bad service. Its a total scam. Don't download and use this company or app you will for sure regret it. You are better for paying slighty extra and be in peace of mind. Get to know refund policy first.
Very bad experience with unclear instructions. UX should be way better, due to their mistake I paid 200 Euros for alternative itinerary. I paid double and never got refund covered by Kiwi guarantee. Avoid using this app and their customer support is really slow and bad. Unclear instructions regarding tickets. I will say that UI is good though but other aspects need to be improved!
