It will not connect to my Kiwi. It connects once when I first plug the device in but it will not scan or read any of the sensors. If I disconnect and reconnect again, it'll just keep telling me to select my OBD hardware every time. The device will work with Torque and Car Scanner. This App is useless.
Broken App. Crashed every time I tried to save my vehicle data. Figured I'd give this app a try with my older PLX Kiwi device, but I guess I'll go back to using Torque and not upgrade to a newer PLX device. If their app is this bad it makes me question the newer PLX Kiwi adapters. Update: Tried the app again, managed to setup a vehicle without the app crashing... but the stupid app doesn't save the vehicle profile after closing the app.
Terrible app. just like the Kiwi3 adapter. App. doesn't display any useful parameters. Kiwi3 always struggles to connect, and regularly causes a DTC issue. Can't update Kiwi3 firmware on Android, no support or response from manufacturer/developer. Adapter doesn't put itself to sleep, so constantly drains battery.
Terrible app. The app doesn't work. There are too many bugs. It close itself very often. Very often there isn't contact between hardware - Kiwi 3 and the app. I lost £100. This product is a scam.
waste of money! intalled on android 8.0 keeps crashing upon launching. installed it on android 8.1 and never connects to the kiwi4. total rubbish. be warned! i read the stuffs here yet went on to purchase because the interface looks real. now i m a victim.
I am not able to connect to my kiwi 3, i am able to use it with and older windows 10 phone though not on this new phone which i have tested the blue tooth to be working properly, this app reviews are true. failure to connect is a big issue
Incredible gizmo. 6 apps all in 1 was a great idea where all the functions are unified on a single page. The connection is fast and easy. Was able to reset my trouble code no prob.
Beautiful app! Does everything and more. You won't get caught speeding again. My experience with this app is I find it easy to use. And it works great. No problems No issues.
The app is very buggy. Crashes frequently and also freezes or slows down alot. Also doesn't have a portrait mode. Concept is good but needs alot of refinement.
Easy to use, easy to connect, lots of data and features. Look great on may device in landscape mode. I have the Kiwi 3. Recommend!!!!
I use to use Dash Command and played with Blue Driver, Dash Command crashes on me and Blue Driver only does diagnostics so I returned it. Kiwi has it all with more than diagnostics. I like the user interface better with the landscape views.
Best OBD app by far. The interface is really nice, the connection is super fast. Read and reset my trouble codes with ease. Love it!
Probably the worst OBD app. don't buy the Kiwi 4 OBD device and expect it to work well with this app. Even though they were made by the same company and supposed to work together they don't because the programmers do not know how to implement Bluetooth connectivity. this is especially true if you have an Android device, 1% connectivity, and even with Apple you only get connectivity 5% of the time.
Simply will not connect to my KIWI 3 transmitter. Tried 2 different Android phones, all other Bluetooth devices shut down. Waste of time.
Subaru Forester - HTC U11 updated to PIE, works well now, even gear setting working now. Few things are still not right. It seems conversion from Imperial to Metric does not work proper. 61 liter tank but 75 liter left, can't change from gallon to liter. Is anyone else still working on this app? Cheers
This app is junk. It crashes when trying to read codes and they ignore all correspondences, especially if its busted. Stay away from this ripoff.
what a POS of an App. says its connected, but no data. all data entered is not saved ( car info, gas price, etc). Apparently theres a firmwarw update for unit, but instructions are wrong. DO NOT BUY RHE OBDII unit ubtil this is fixed. look at how many negative reviews.
Slow to connect if it will connect at all. Doesn't read pending codes. Not a good first impression.
never connects, no matter how much troubleshooting I do. whenever I try to get a refund or replacement, they tell to wait and try again after the next update. never fixes. waste of money.
This app when paired with the Kiwi 4 is spectacular. I LOVE the self-run function. No other OBD reader has this along with many other features. This is THE OBD reader and performance measure if you're in the market for a quality piece of engineering......
I couldn't figure out how to change the gauge profiles to numeric so I phoned the company. Looks like they're in California. I can honestly say that with the service and support I received, I'm impressed. Money well spent.
Tried everything to connect to Kiwi-3. Impossible. I gave up. I will uninstall the app (1/2 hour of waste of time) and I want my money back.
WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. Great looking app, just don't expect any KIWI hardware to work with any of their APP products... apparently the developers speak English, while the app devs only speak Chinese.
Cannot get this to connect to my Kiwi 4. App is terrible. They took our Kickstarter money and then abandoned their garbage app. It's not been updated in two years!
App doesn't work at all, I have tried emailing for help with no response. This app and their product is a waste of money. Look elsewhere for a better product.
Wouldn't connect to Bluetooth.. Multiple other apps have no problem.. Looks pretty tho.. Hopefully an update will fix the issue
Even after the 2/2019 update the app still does not function. Multigage does not show anything and most times the app will not switch from self run to smartphone mode. Dongle works fine with Torque Pro app but this app is a dud and hasn't functioned more than once since day 1. Having a PIN is also annoying and there's no option to turn it off. App says connected though despite no readings. Constantly asked if you want to switch to Smartphone mode then won't switch when hitting YES. (Using KIWI 4)
