Highly recommended player. Very good sound quality can be achieved as per personal liking. There are many bugs though like you can't play music file directly from file manager. Playlist support is limited to adding single files. No context menu for files etc. Also player doesn't support all codecs. I like to store my music in Opus format which is the best compression format for audio files sadly this player doesn't support Opus. This is unique player & has great potential to rule them all.
Hands down the BEST audio player for quality of output sound that I have came across yet for android. I would give 5 Stars if I could figure out how to customize the app for my personal sound preferences. There are 2 custom tailored apps that are included with the player for creating your own optimized audio sound, however I have not figured out exactly how to use those 2 options for creation of my preference. BUT as a unaltered "default" audio player its truly a marvel to hear...
Only reason im deducting a star is because its a little hard to understand setup for sound. That being said....its not impossible and when u do get ur settings locked in there is no other music player that can touch the sound quality of this one!! I waited WAY too long to get it!! Thank you KlistenPlayer for this quality of sound on a cellular device because its truly unheard of!!
website link doesn't work from the play store and cant use the menus without creating an account, which you get 2 options to do so. one being Facebook, which I'm not on and second option is some message service I've never heard of before. I also googled the company and only found a third party site hosting some info but no way to sign up there either. seems fishy to me so I'm deleting the app and moving on.
500 STARS! I dont often take the time to comment. this is like listening to music/audio sent from year 2050. (Random estimate of year😉) now that is before you learn what it's CAPABLE OF! be patient and spend a few hours trying this and that adjusting and creating your own settings & you will never be satisfied with any other audio experience again! I want to that the developers for sharing this. I have paid for to much worthless software. This I would have paid for gladly.
Completely useless for me so far since any of the presets require a login for some reason and each time I try to login it gives me an error message.. I've emailed the screencaps to the devs, awaiting response now, so.. Yeah I'll update this review if they respond and fix the issue otherwise it's staying right here at ✮☆☆☆☆
All the positive feedback may come from the people who have never heard a good music app before. If you really want to hear music on your android, buy poweramp! Worth every penny for local storage music. This is very basic tech but show off very fancy presets. Hilarious!
Somehow it misinterpreted measurements and result is harsh. According to it with WiseAudio I am DefLeopard, Active tune in my car also didn't turn out rather good. When EQ tune done by hand to a referee measurements for a listening device it improves but output quality is still below let's say Neutron or Aimp. Other than that it lacks suport for some audio formats, audio sorting options are bad and log in requirements are horrible.
Okay, so it can't play any other formats than mp3, no biggie. It's still outshines the rest of the music apps. I love flipping thru the presets to find just the right sound, that's compatible with my booster, & the many different music variations I create. Thanx!
No Settings menu. Detects my SD-based music folders but doesn't show the folder hierarchy so my manually-grouped albums aren't grouped any more. In Artist view, a ridiculous number are listed under "Unknown", which also doesn't help me find what I'm looking for. Completely useless .
I would give this a zero rating. All this app does is freeze. When that happens all you can do is go to your recently used apps window and delete this app. Only then can you delete this app. What I can not understand is that you have to create a profile which then supposedly gives you access to more settings. To me that is invasive. Do not trust this app.To be insulted in such away by the developer is unacceptable. I have a robust security system that checks all my downloads.
Seems to have great potential. Almost has too many options with basically NIL for instructions. Plus, despite tons of presets, they are only various degrees of too much high end. Also, I have to 2nd the vote that your options for Log In are quite unhelpful. I DON'T USE THE SOCIAL MEDIA.
Good player but it's not showing me my music. I'll click on multiple albums and it shows it as empty but in my Samsung music player I'll find the same albums and the songs are there. I've tried mounting my micro SD card and reinstalling the app. Nothings worked yet.
My nokia 6.1 has no any inbuilt music player. So i wanted a music player with good sound quality and folder support. Output sound quality is far better than most music players. Folder option is implemented in a very good way. Fulfills all my needs. Thanks to developers
Like the music player, love how it sounds, but really wish I could add music to my Playlist. Force closes anytime I try with my S21 Ultra. Would also like it if it supported files other than mp3. I'll update my rating as soon as it's fixed.
I want to enjoy it with all pre set. But I am unable to sign in via face book. It only show US the only country. The music quality is amazing. But it is very sad for failure to sign in.
Player functionality is good. But it's not getting synk played song names and seek timings with the Sony Car Stereo (WX 920bt). Due to this reason I'm going to uninstall this app. Most of other audio apps natively support names and seek timings.
Lots of features missing (that hopefully will be coming with the next updates) but what I hate the most is adding songs to a playlist since it is not possible to select a bunch of them but one by one.
It's good, but it would be better if you add search option in the next update It works good and the sound is amazing with most of songs i have but some types of songs is not good although its sonund is great in another music player it needs some improvements

Thank you Devs! *update* I dont want anyone thinking I misled em...there's some features that could use improvement or added in general, yes. But as far as sound quality goes...jet player, power amp, nuetron, etc..can ALL eat Klisten's a$$! AND you can share your settings or try out other people's too....wicked.
Looks great; sounds pretty good but when you cannot navigate to folders other than the default music folder in external memory then it's pointless.
Sound is very good but U need to create a account to access features like different presets it has earphone model preset which you can download presets for your model of headphone but one problem I have noticed it very slow at updating music
4 stars because when i use it via Bluetooth in my car stereo it does not display the song currently playing. Other than that it is amazing.
The device database is in an absolute mess with lots of duplicates. There also needs to be a device search instead of having to manually hunt for them. Oh, and more fields for a device including SKU and display name.
Nice app. Keep up the good work. But i decide to uninstall it as it needs to enter some details to save our presets. I may turn to Muzio player and Poweramp
This is the best player I've found and I've paid for them all. The sound is just incredible. Thank you!! No, it doesn't have all the customization that some do, but I'm more than willing to trade some of that for the superb quality. This app made my $20 Koss headphones sound like a $200 set. Amazing. The only thing I wish this app included is a widget. Thanks again to the developers. No permissions except necessary storage, no cost, no ads. Wow.
