Used to love this app but since COVID it will never let me get e Boarding passes without pre uploading my documents... Which I cannot do because my destinations do not require pre-uploaded documents. So I'm stuck having to visit the check in desk at the airport which the purpose of this app is to avoid.
This App is terrible.I bought checked in baggage for my 4 flights but it still shows zero checked baggage!I am due to travel soon and I wonder if this will be an issue at check in.Customer service for KLM is an issue on it's own and the worse.I tried contacting an actual agent twice but several hours later and still no agent!I deleted and uploaded the App again but it shows no checked baggage! I do regret choosing KLM.This App is supposed to make travel easier but it is stressful/frustrating.
KLMs app and digital communications is far in front of the competition tbh. If something goes wrong with the flight you you'll be informed promptly. Last time I missed a connecting flight due to a delay, I already had a new reservation before touchdown. Honestly great service.
app doesn't work. every pass errors out. refund option doesn't work. website doesn't work. calling doesn't work. they say you have to wait 45 minutes then disconnect. 45 minutes later does the same thing. flight change doesn't work. I'm missing my flight bcuz of their pointless covid restrictions. KLM has ruined my trip.
Italian IDs don't scan. Credit card format. Also can't upgrade seats. Always getting an error saying the system is not available.
KLM airline is the best in the business as far as customer service! We chose them every time. In the years we have flown with them, we have never had a rude agent. Their app is functional, but could use a "chat with an agent" button or a "contact us" menu. Other than that, it's easy to use and doesn't make things complicated.
Cannot login. It complains that more then one user is registered with my email address. That makes no sense, how can that be? The error message tells me to use my Fly Blue Id, I request it by email, try to use it to login, and it does not work. I made the account same day as I tried, the password is correct, it a very flawed login system.
Could not edit information, so it was useless from the start for me. Also, did not have a away for online communication, email or text. So you have to call if you have a problem with app and hold in forever which could run phone bill up.
I don't know if the App or the Airline is worse. The app does not allow to upgrade or choose seats even when it prompts you. Then you call customer service and they are not able to help either. 😒
When clicking "Save to phone" for a boarding pass it only opens the Google Pay page in the Google app store, instead of opening the Google Pay app directly, which is already installed on my phone. Thus I am unable to save the boarding passes to my phone.
Update after fix implemented -- app is perfectly functional and easy to use. One stop shop for flight bookings, storing flight details and Flyingblue status benefits. No clutter and very easy to use.
The app is horribly broken. The UI looks fantastic, but functionally its an absolute disaster. I think the developers are jn desparate need of a UX Designer. Take care not to "change your flight" in the app. I'm down 15 euros and the change didn't even come through.
Cannot log in. I introduce the account details, press login and the application does nothing. No success, no error... Just stays at that screen forever.... Online check-in does not work (also without any error), application does not work... This company needs to seriously improve their applications...
Adding boarding passes to Google Pay or adding flights to your calendar don't work. It just shows a pop-up saying "no app found". I have to use the Air France app instead.
The app button, save to GPay is not working, it redirects to the playstore, but I have GPay installed. The rest is all good
It keeps saying my connection is not working and defaulting to the initial screen, so I can't reset my password. You can't book a wheelchair through the app. You can't contact customer service.
I was just browsing to change flights and without any warning and confirmations it changed my bookings. And now there's no way I can reach to customer service waiting hours on phone and both in app and online it says it can not change flights.
Not much more than the website with some few annoying bugs. For example, I am now on a flight which is delayed by 2h (that starts happening very often unfortunately). After the original departure time the flight disappears from "my trips" and it is not on your upcoming or previous trips. This means you lose all flight details... And your boarding pass! Luckily I had access to my e-mail, otherwise I would be in big problems. This shouldn't happen. Note: it doesn't happen on the website
This is more intuitive than the other airline apps I use and has friendly messages. Only complaint: when you are using reward points to book flights, if you go back a page to change something, you have to re-enter everything. When booking normally, the data you enter is sticky so you can quickly change dates & times to compare prices. It also wouldn't let me pay for a flight from the UK in €, but you can sort this by WhatAspping (!?) the customer service team who get back to you very quickly.
Horrible customer service. Never again will I fly with klm. Not enjoyable to pay for a service and not receive it. Spent 3 days trying to resolve it through whatsapp. Shown the price for light and standard. I paid for standard. Did not receive it. Shown the error with screen shots and the amount I paid, clearly showing standard was purchased. Only to be told that I'll have to purchase it again and there's nothing that can be done about it. Not interested in paying twice for a service.
So far profoundly unimpressed. The app doesn't seem to update or communicate with the website or with changes to flight times made by the airline...everything has to be entered manually. Currently the entire return leg of my trip has vanished from the app and I am going to have to call the airline (which usually means at least 45 minutes on hold) to get through. My advice? Don't bother.

It kinda worked but failed on the most important and crucial moment. It showed that my flight which was originally taking place on Sunday, had already departed on Saturday. Which was inaccurate and it gives travelers dealing with time zone Changes a big amount of distress. In short: the app shows different information than the boarding pass.
This app used to be good and easy to use. Now it's useless. It no longer automatically contains my bookings. Sure, I can manually add them (nice and user-friendly! 😏) but then they disappear again without warning. I just don't trust this anymore with my boarding passes as I don't want to think about what hassle it'd be for these to disappear during a trip! So it's an uninstall for me and back to the 90s with paper boarding passes! (Great for the environment!)
Easy to use and navigate, however, has many issues. For example, I needed to add a check-in luggage for my trip, the app said that the function cannot be performed at the moment, may have to wait for 30 minutes up to 4 hours - the same message was displayed for 3 days. Had to contact customer service and they did it for me right away, so it must be something with the application itself. For such a good airline it shouldn't be above them to also provide a good mobile application.
Mostly does what it says. The 'Save to phone' Google Pay option doesn't work though. It just takes me to the Play Store (even though I already have and use the app).
Extremely buggy. The staff is wonderful but the app needs 20 years of updates. You can't edit information, changing seats is impossible because the app gets confused, even finding flight numbers is difficult. When I try to go on the website, it's not much better.
