Excellent!!! I prefer this app over the rest of similar apps out there. Why? It fleshes out the subject with the what, where, when, how and why for each article with their flip-through concept. Very concise, rich and smooth set up. Perfect for those times during the day I can take a short break and read something interesting, meaningful and intelligent.
It's one of the best apps I have ever come across. The articles are very well crafted and it doesn't divert from what it actually wants to convey. Moreover there are no intrusive ads, which means you can read with focus. Each article is divided into fixed categories like what the matter is, why does it happen, when it happens etc. Try once. You won't regret. Advice to the developer : Please do consider including more font types because each individual may have different taste of fonts.
I like the quality information provided in this app. One thing , I would like to suggest is to improve the UI (hence one star less) , probably make the image quality better and size of the image smaller on its intro page. Apart from that, what/who/why/when sections are so interesting. Loved the concept! it covers the entire topic. Glad, I found it.
If you are interested in having a comprehensive perspective on something, this is the app for you. After reading this, I sometimes find Other apps inadequate when it comes to providing the full picture. So it's an app with limited but quality content. But if it were to provide excessive contents, it would defeat it's purpose of quality. At least that's what it is for me. Overall I like it a lot and it had made me more informed on many important happenings.
I've been using this app for more than six months at least. Sometimes a few typos and minor mistakes crawl into the knapps but the content is always informative, brilliantly written and in my opinion, hugely relevant. It touches a lot of topics with the same zeal, be it politics, history or science. The "what-why-when-where-who-how" approach often reveals many interesting things. Moreover, reading the knapps has taught me a lot on my own content-creation process. Thanks a lot Knappily. Rock on.
I've had this app for a week now. Two things stand out. The topics are excellent, combining current affairs and history. The reportage is factual, unbiased and impartial. I like the interface too. I look forward to using it more and more. I would whole heartedly recommend this app to anyone who either wishes to stay updated on the events occurring around us or has an interest in trivia.
The concept is pretty revolutionary in the sense that covering the 5W1Hs of an incident results in highly informative news reports that are more than just opinions. However the app still has a few bugs and plenty room for improvement. Hence, the 4 stars. Honestly, I would rate it more but I'd like to conserve that 1 star for when the app gets more polished further down the road. Kudos to the team for inventing such a useful piece of software!
The app bring in-depth content on the pressing issues. The articles basically intends to answer all the "WWWWWH" questions in effective manner with bullet points and bold fonts to draw reader's attention. The question is, does the service has their own journalists and writers who create content? The app's interface is very easy to use and runs smoothly. Thanks for creating a great app delivering great content!
I used to love the app but now it stopped working. I re installed it more than 10 times but issue isn't solved. It gives me notifications perfectly but when I click on those or open the app directly too it keeps on loading and later shows that there's an Internet issue though there is not. When I go to the menu it shows 0 knapps are there. What is wrong? Creators please resolve the issue. I love this app and don't wanna lose it.
With this app, I can know about a news topic in detail all in one place which is a unique feature. Writing is unbiased and on point. If you want to be an efficient reader, this is that app. I have reduced using other news apps and stopped using some of them. Kudos to the whole team! Will think about areas of improvement and update later.
I'm really enjoying this app. Loaded with information and very accurate and very well articulated content. I'm particularly fond of one feature- the text to speech. However, I'm unable to keep it on as a constant. Also im unable to keep the voice settings as per my preference. It changes every time. And I have to swipe all the way to the end to enable the text to speech. Would love it and change my rating to 5* if I could do that. Other than that it's an amazing app. Definitely recommend it.
This is one of the very very few apps I've reviewed and a service I've donated to willingly. And all of this simply because of how brilliant the choice of content is. Unlike most of the news and media these days, this app provides you with actual informational content, content that isn't overwhelmingly negative or pointless. Every topic chosen is of substance and the expansion on each of them is even better. Highly recommend this app if you're looking for good informational content.
Highly informatove articles that are a pleasure to read. I like reading about things in detail and find that I am able to retain more information when I read it as part of a descriptive text as opposed to bullet points. I did come across some articles where the author seemed biased and some which were duds, but it isn't much of a problem for me as they are few in number and I don't see Knappily as a news paper replacement. Keep up the good work guys 👍
One of the best apps for those who want detailed news. News are worded and edited nicely and the sections of why, where and so on is a smart concept. It also has a great historical section. Definitely would recommend it. Only one complaint is to cut down not so great quotes in between.
Wonderful and best app for your news needs. Detailed analysis will never fool you like all those click bait news articles you will find online. All details about a single topic in 1 place. And best of all, it's ad-free. I hope the app stays this way. You see inspirational messages and pictures in between that will brighten up your day. It's been quite a long time since I started using this Android application. It contains a few slides, yet forged with precise and valuable information. I like the slide containing a quote. Also, the 5Ws of an issue is taken care by the editor very intelligently.
The app is incredibly made. Everyone knows how good it is so I would only advise you on what possibly can be improved - 1. Inclusion of an AMOLED theme would be great for contrast. 2. A widget can be included. 3. Improvisation for tablets. 4. Option to share and save the whole article in apps like pocket or instapaper instead of only being able to see the link to download Knappily. This would be the most important feature for me.
This app is brilliant. It has made me a smartass among my friends, as now I know a great deal about a lot of stuff. It has a range of topics from Tech to Politics, and keeps me updated on the latest trending issues and events happening around the world. Not only this, it provides an in-depth analysis on all the topics. Though the articles are a bit long sometimes and useless info won't allow me to read them completely. Otherwise it's so good. Also, I love the 5W 1H. Highly recommended!
Amazing content. In depth analysis. Super useful and interesting. I keep recommending to all my students. Sadly, the app itself has been causing problems. Knapps don't load, search doesn't work, and more. After submitting feedback and getting no response, I'm forced to uninstall.
Amazing app, amazing articles, pretty thorough research. Data are taken from very trusted sources. I've never found a bad/wrong data except certain communal figures, which is absolutely understandable and can be ignored. Every time I get a notification from this app, it's a treat. I love news and data. So the articles here are always something I look forward to.
The topics are good. Good to see the the classification on the basis of what why when. However the most of the content looks copy pasted from various net resources that do not coordinate well. However it's a one of a kind app so 5 stars. It would have been better if the content writers would rather get the knowledge through various sources and then describe in their own way.
It's an amazing application which talks about all aspects of a particular contemporary story or news article. Reading even one article is more than enough to understand what is happening! I love the way the Knapps keep coming in the form of notifications giving updates on the latest of news.
The app is fantastic it helps you with both current affairs and something in past on the same date which is a fascinating feature about it. It also send you a quote daily which helps you live life with an optimistic approach. Also if you don't have time to read it, app reads out news for you which makes this app really different from others. Just one suggestion also introduce the read option and word select for the main paragraph of news so that we can directly copy word and search its meaning.
Editing this review after a year. Have been an avid knappily reader since the last two years and had given it a five star review. However, since the last six months the app has gone down the drain. Knaps on current affair issues are now posted ONCE A MONTH. That's simply very dismal. Now you'll only find "this day several years ago" and motivational quotes which don't make any sense half the time. Unless they get back in their old groove, this is presently an entirely useless 'knowledge app'.
The ingenuity of this news feed application lies in providing birds eye view as well as complete story in a single window. The analysis is spot on and unbiased. A must have application for current affairs as well as historically important issues. Good going Knappily, keep up the good work. All the best.
the content of the app is really amazing (5/5) but work on the speech function of the app. give user the power to control the speed of the speech. Use good speech voice. Also if i activate the speech fucntion now, the highlighted text is not scrolled up & cant see it. please correct it in next update. if possible shift to single page view.
This is the kind of news feed I always wished. It not only gives the current happening but also describes how it is all started and throws a light on the future. However I would love to see improvement in the interface. Keep going. This app is unique in its way of sharing news with knowledge.👍👍
Earlier it is used to be a good app, but nowadays we(users) are not getting Knapps up-to-date and there is no new information on current issues. There is also critical bug issues in this app , and for this I have reported through emails many times,but there is no response. kindly look through all these issues and provide us bug free app as we had before.
