KNED AM 1150

KNED, AM 1150, operates at 1,000 watts and has a 65 year history as McAlester's full service radio station. The music on KNED is traditional Country and current artists with that same traditional texture. KNED begins the day with 'Sleepy Lee' Anderson. Sleepy has been on-the-air for more than 53 years. He's followed by veteran air personality Megan Waters. She's been in the radio business for almost 30 years. KNED features local newsman John Yates, who by the way is the voice of the McAlester High School Sports. KNED is home to the Oklahoma Sooner Football and Basketball Networks for more than 35 years.
