The game itself is pretty good. You have a good system that's easy to pick up. The only downside, is the constant pop-up ads everywhere. After you clear a level, BOOM, an ad. Upgrading your hero, BOOM, another ad. Moving to the shop, BOOM, another ad. All these, exclude the ads that you willingly watch for the sake of "benefits". 30% of the time is used to play the actual game, remaining 70% is for the ads.
The new update is horrible. After I equipped the "helpers" with items and removed them from castle in order to evolve them all the items disappeared! In addition, after restarting the game even evolution has returned to the first level (but helpers used to evolve disappeared as the items). Great update! At the beginning the ads were not so annoying. Now after every stage you have to close at least two of them, then you have the reminder that you can buy beginner packs, even though you have everything at the highest possible level. When playing at 2x speed at least one in 5 or 6 games can crush the game. I definitely do not recommend for this moment.
Doesn't last very long and difficulty curve is very awkward. I finished about 90% of the game in less than a week, so it definitely needs more content. It's less an 'idle' game and more of an 'auto' play-itself game. To progress, you can just farm the boss on the lower-right corner (or roll roulette) and stack lots of gold and gems. You basically want to buy the legendary allies as soon as they appear in the shop, the rest aren't viable late-game.
I love the concept of this game and I love the actual gameplay. However there are a few things that can definitely be improved on. First, on the "castle" screen, it is very difficult to select a unit because the hero's information screen is too large and in the way. With that being said, I feel there is no need for all the information of the heroes to even be on the "castle" menu when there is already a separate "heroes" menu available. Music is too quiet. Add a speed toggle button to gameplay
the only thing I can criticize this game about is the ads popping up and interrupting the game. I like that most are voluntary, for extra coins or to double rewards, but the ads that come after finishing a battle is very annoying. I love the animation, getting rewards while offline, and watching the characters grow. very solid game. fix the ad issue and it is definitely a 5 star. no glitches and smooth gameplay. tutorial could be better, but half the fun of playing games is figuring them out.
pretty fun. the ads are forced, but they arent too overwhelming. It utilizes a stamina system, which Im not fond of. if i want to play a game for 10 hours, I should be allowed to without paying real world money. An option to pay to remove forced ads would be appreciated. I think the game has potential to be great. I would love to see a prestige/artifact system put in place. That would add longevity to the game and keep players more engaged and likely generate a bit more revenue.
The removal of the replay button added in is such an inconvenience especially since the game is a grindy game. Now you have to go back to home which takes a few seconds, scroll back to the stage where you want to grind (which takes more time) and then press play again. Its a small thing, but it added quality of life and removing it now makes me not want to play.
so far I'm having a lot of fun with the game. There are 2 things that need fixing though, first, your hero and allies will stop shooting at random and mostly happens when enemies are close to the castle but not every time, and second, your aoe shot that goes off ever few shots will stop working at random as well. Other than that it's been a blast so far. Haven't spent a dime yet and unless I hit a paywall later on then I'd say this is pretty f2p friendly. I watch the ads for the 2x gold a lot.
Nice litte tap/afk rpg. Progress is steady and so far not reliant on microtransactions or ad watching. The mandatory ads are few at the moment which is nice, but they do tend to pop up with no warning. The biggest problem so far with this game, is the UI (occasionally a menu or info window overlaps other choices and makes it difficult to change a selection) and the unresponsive controls at times. These problems arent game breakers, just frustrating and keep the game from moving smoothly.
Started out fine, but then I hit a wall where I can no longer progress, and cannot upgrade my hero any further. I suppose this is the point where I'm supposed to pay money to proceed, but I have no inclination to do so. To make matters worse, the most recent update appears to have made everything harder to make that wall happen earlier, as I can no longer complete levels I beat easily previously. Uninstalling, which is a shame because it was actually pretty fun when I could progress.
all the worst parts of idle games, together at last!! auto play that requires NO input from you! YOU in fact make it WORSE! oh and dont forget the extremely convoluted upgrade system. tap to upgrade? God no! you need plenty of precious resources for that. which, as you may have guessed, leads to in app purchases. not required, but you'll definitely need them to progress eventually. I love me some boring games, but this is boring AND unnecessarily frustrating, menu-wise...
Maximus fights well, but theres a glitch in the fireball. It'll stop firing and cause me to lose a level. It's gotten quite bad and annoying. I would also spend money on this app, but everything is so expensive. and the cheap stuff isn't even worth the money. Hero's randomness on the last update has gotten worse. I got a new phone and couldnt switch the game over, so I had to start over and I havent gotten any of the top heros, except one. If these issues aren't fixed soon, it'll be uninstalled
not an "idle" game as in offline-idle/clicker. It is more a grinding game of luck, where it is all about stats and matching powers. It lacks the puzzle element of TD games but adds a very little aspect of activated abilities. Aside from the type of game, there are some negatives - the game has bugs. It overrides the music/sound by default, switching off your own music for some (rather poor) ingame music - you can NOT switch off the music/sound in the options menu, despite there being an option. Turning off the music simply does not work. - The wheel of chance and some other luck portions are a bit too obviously rigged. - Level and game balance/progression difficulty is rocky and enemy types are quite inconsistent in terms of strength - crafting and hero evolution feel half baked at best
It was fun and very rewarding game. Though, it eats up power from your phone way too fast. A few rounds eats about 10% power on mine. Honor 9 Lite is my phone. Idk if it's just in mine or if there are variations with other phones or its compatibilities. I would've recommend this game more if it doesn't consume much power. This is a good game to pass the time though. So fair enough game as it is. Not much ads either. Your choice to watch and with rewards too.
First of this is not an idle game. Game is a fun defense game but there are a lot of downsides. You get 1 hero and you cant choose which one. Hero selection screen is sort of showing you more heroes that require payment!! Really? Adds. You have to pay to remove them. And then the fastest way to grind currency is watching adds. Great potential but looks like 2much greed ruined it.
Was having a lot of fun until the recent update, it seems to have broken my save. Had castle at level 10, now shows as needing an upgrade but the button does nothing, rightmost position on castle filled by a phantom 5 star character I can't remove or replace, things like that. Like the new additions and the options to filter equipment, but the game is now unplayable for me. Hope they fix it.
An alright time-kill. This game starts with little instruction on how to play or build your characters, while at the same time being simple enough to get pretty far without really knowing what you are doing. Once you start having difficulty, and start figuring it out, it is really just a grind-fest, as you play the same area over and over for material necessary to get stronger. Not a bad game, not a great one either, and simple enough that you can put your phone down while it's on and not worry.
Constantly harasses you with packs to buy after every round. Annoyingly asks you to rate every few rounds until you finally do. Forces an ad on you every few rounds. Without these annoying factors, I would likely give it a 4star. You can choose to watch an ad to double your gold which is fine. It seems like your heroes miss sometimes, especially when the enemies are near your castle. It doesn't tell you where to get loot you need to forge equipment. You stupidly need to collect recipes to re-craft the same items.
great graphics! idle gold rate is low so you want to play the missions, but you're not really paying them. it's more like setting up your team and then watching them play the mission. the only control you have is when your here uses a skill. hey skills are very weak though. even at Max level, they don't kill anything or knock enemies back far, only hurt a little and knocked back a few steps
This is an idle game in the sense that when you're actively playing it you don't do much outside of build your crew. I'm currently at level 3_7. Pros: The gameplay is awesome for an active idle game. The reward system for clearing levels keeps a consistent leveling experience. Farming into too bad at low levels. Cons: No replay level button for quicker farming. Even after buying "No Ads" there is the in-game microtransactions suggestion popups after most levels. Please fix the cons
good game. a little buggy. i have too keep closing the game to re-equip the helper slots. it still says they are equipped but nothing is in the slot. ads are a bit much. i like the option to watch an ad for x2 coin after a stage but it seems moot to do since a lot of the time you are already forced to watch one.
enjoying the game, however I can't recommend the game as I've experienced a bug that will not allow me to upgrade or equip any of my secondary heroes. So at some Point I'm going to reach a point in the game where I can't possibly progress any further with the 1 hero I can actually use. if we can resolve this issue I would rate 4-5 stars honestly,
Game is fun and enjoyable, but when I'm trying to raid for items there should be a replay button for the level! Shouldn't have to go back to the home screen to go back and select the level again. This is very annoying and makes item gathering slow. I'll change my review when they add this feature.
A moderately enjoyable game. Whilst there are certain aspects such as spelling and punctuation that could benefit from just a little bit of proofreading, it does not detract from the overall experience. The overabundance of pop-ups for in-game purchases is a little annoying. Also, the fact that paying to remove ads only removes the banner ad (whic hides part of the HUD) is a little irritating. However, that aside it has still been a pretty good for killing time.
