Knights of Ages (Early Access)

Fun game, good story, isn't afraid to kill characters. I've encountered a few bugs that made me restart the entire game twice, but it was a decision I made, and it was still definitely playable. However, Sean, one of the four starting characters, who I'm guessing is supposed to be important judging by their dialogue, is absolutely useless. He has 0 vitality because of his "weak" trait. He literally can't hold more than a pound. Other than that, good game.

This is exactly the game I've been looking for. Im really into knights. But the progression of xp to the troops is very slow compared to how fast the enemies lvl are higher. I think there should be a shortcut to customize troops armor and weapons and things like that instead of having to pick and choose which 6 players you want to go into battle. The grind is pretty frustrating because the troops age pretty fast.

This game has a lot of ups and downs, it's biggest downside is limited character customization (hair color, beard styles, name options, etc.) As well as taking a while to grind and go up in level and equipment regardless of class. However it's biggest upside is the rather addicting combat and story that should be used for a triple A title game. I was also a fan of the way marriage and romance worked. If this ever became a game for the PC, Playstation or Xbox I'd definitely get it.

It is a great game to build a story with your character. However if the game allowed more choices in the story, and customization. This could be an amazing game. Also I would like a feature for you to actually go inside your castle and visit all the various buildings, and see all the various artifacts you have collected over the ages. To summarize, More immersion elements for this game is needed.

The game is great as a whole I think. But what it does lack is character customization to a extent. The stories and quest are fun. There could be more support in showing the user where stuff is, would be nice. I like the weapons and all and abilities freedom I enjoy. Good game as a whole, great when you get a hang of it.

Definitely a unique and enjoyable game. I like the idea of having children that receive perks from the parents, making children stronger in theory. My main issue is there is little incentive to level up other characters other than what is in your party as it takes quite a while to level up new recruits and if they get too old they will not gain much exp. You could send some off to train but you lose them for almost a year only to earn a few levels.

I was a bit apprehensive at first, but this truly is a great game. Some minor translation issues and you definitely should grind a little bit in the early game, but overall, I was very pleased with the combat. I really can't find myself playing the post game, but I love the idea of having your own kingdom and making your own bloodlines. The story did feel a little forced for no reason, like the deaths of story characters.

A strange beast this one. While I like the design and the art, the gameplay feels impossibly strict: I don't get to decide what missions I choose - I just do whatever I'm told to do, go from A to B, slaughtering whomever I'm ordered to slaughter. It's more of a tale with low-strategy battle scenes. Also, no tutorial om how to sell gear or find/buy anything other than standard stuff.

Overall, this game is nothing short of amazing. This games have it's ups and down. It can be frustrating and punishing especially since every thing you do matter, as time passes and you can't turn back. But it is also it's main strong point. It's better than 70% of single player games in existence. It is designed very well so that you grind matter because you will always progress one way or another. Oh, the real games start after story. My first thought was why is this game not Buy to Play.

I posted this review a year ago and gave the game 5 stars. The novelty of the game lasts for a surprisingly long time, but eventually it dries up and there isn't much to do after that. There are still updates and occasional events, but they are little more than some extra grindable missions and there is already plenty of those. The story line is good, but not really choice based as advertised. If you want to keep going in the post-story content however, prepare yourself to grind a lot!

Wonderfully crafted, never encountered a bug. The gameplay is incredibly fun, with enough depth to be strategic and intricate, but not too much as to be overbearing or excessive. Awesome characters and character development, along with a sick story and a fun system of almost breeding perfect warriors with the bloodline system! Can't wait to restart and play through it all a second time!

Been playing this for a few weeks now (almost nonstop 😂), and still really enjoying it. A lot of unique and interesting game mechanics, you won't have played something like this before! Some of the mechanics can be a bit hard to understand, and some of the descriptions aren't super clear (due i think to a bit of a language barrier) but play for long enough and it makes sense eventually; I actually quite enjoyed working it all out anyway. Would highly reccommend giving this game a go.

Fun and unique gameplay, based around history and playing out your legacy over time. You have kids and they eventually grow to become part of your party. Very cool. Has a bit of bugs, freeze here or there but usually fixed by a quick reset. Keep working on it guys! It's great!

The game is poorly made and tested. characters age too fast, barely an in-game year and some of my characters are already too old to be used. Can't do many missions between storyline missions which affect troop growth. Too many character classes affecting the weapons and gear that can be equipped. Missions that need higher weapon levels become unnecessarily difficult as it's limited by classes which can only be found late game. Storyline is not great.

I think this game is excellent. But need some details to be great, for example if i leveling up the castle, this one can change their graphics on the map and be a more decent one. The longevity of the principal characters too it's another issue. You can add passive missions for other members of the mercenary group

Pretty decent! Would like to see more customisation options for the character you create. Would like the option to start as a male or female character, would like to see more skin tones, hair colours, eye colours. Would be nice to have some influence on your starting stats and traits too. Also there needs to be an option where you don't have to create an account and keep logging in. Just a local save on a specific device. I look forward to see how the game develops.

Great game, looking forward to anymore updates that will come out. I have not finished chapter 6 at this time. However, it has been a fantastic experience. I like the layers of the characters and how you can change classes and assign them according to their attributes as well as mold them into whatever. If I had any complaint it is the silver earning is not great. It cost a lot to upgrade the castle, unless you wanna waste 10 years of character life to grind out silver to get that much.

The problem has been solved, thank you for a swift reply and fix! Now for a real review. A simple tactics style rpg management game. The translations need a tiny bit of work here and there, but the story is pretty good, the gameplay is simple yet allows a lot of customization. Its not too easy, which is lovely. The best part, for those of you statistic nuts like myself, the raising of family lines. Bloodlines, stats, passed down traits, there is a lot to explore when trying to create your team.

The game is pretty good! The story, the mechanics and game play are awesome. I only give 4 stars because of the login screen. You should login with Facebook only once not ever you enter the game. That makes the start game very boring and slow. I think if you had more races probably the game would get more audience and the way you level up the characters are very complicated too. You have to do many missions.

I was surprised how well the game plays, and there seems to be a lot of work put in to the immersion of the player into the characters. It's a lot of fun, and a good solid strategy challenge to the game. Not much is "explained" to the player in game about the tactical interactions between character types, and you're kind of left to figure it out as you go. There are some wikis around the web that can help explain things and make it a shallower learning curve, but I enjoyed the stumbling.

Absolutely delightful cross between X-Com, Crusader Kings and GoT. Bed ready to get in for the long run, just the tutorial takes about 7h of playtime. The loading time seems a bit excessive, with over a minute on an Android 10 flagship device, but it's worth it, since you won't be able to put it down again. I'd love a landscape mode, to record for YouTube.

After starting off in a somewhat mediocre story, I was content with the gameplay. That is until I ran head first into an uterly game breaking bug, that prevents any progress whatsoever. (Glitched out enemies, unresponsive units, and the inability to even forfeit the fight.) Needless to say, this sucked any interest right out of me. It's a shame, all things considered. The game had some potential. Might consider revisiting it in the future if it gets some much needed polish.

I love the concept behind this game, and the story seems well thought out so far (just finished ch. 4), but over the past few days there has been an exorbitant amount of loading, and once I got my training ground to level 5, trying to access that part of my castle causes a neverending load, forcing me to close the app. Restarting doesn't fix the problem, though. I'd love to keep playing once this glitch is fixed!

Near perfect game. Detailed, strategic, and I absolutely love the generational gameplay. Getting thru the story chapters to open up freeplay was a slog, especially the third time I attempted. (Maybe add a freeplay mode at start.) And I wish there were a better way to flag or sort characters in your army. Sometimes, I find a nice character for breeding, but don't want to actively use them. Would be nice to put them into a separate pool. Or have saved teams for rapid switching.

It's a really fun game. I enjoyed playing through it. It definitely has alot of potential. It has a few a bad wording throughout the story. But that's minor. And I few minor bugs nothing game breaking but the worst part of the game is after you complete it. The grind becomes crazy and If you want any of the best stuff you hit a pay wall. So to sum it up it's fun and interesting but after the story it's a pure grind and pay walls. Just a heads up

Good game overall with good mechanics and gameplay. In my opinion the story is bad, it is hard to follow and the naration at the start is pointless, even the part about the princess becoming heir is resolved in one text box. Also, it takes too long to gain favour with factions, which makes the whole system pointless because you stay neutral for ever. Even when the king personally cuts ties with you and you lose 100 relationship, you still have 600 and 2000 ~more to go before increasing a level.

Insanely in depth injury system. Easy turn base combat. Lots of locked areas still in beginning areas, so there is lots to do at your own pace. Not sure what the purpose of not being able to fire certain characters off your roster is about. Literally tried to kill them repeatedly in combat to remove them, but the negative traits I think capped finally. Any help there would be nice. Overall amazing game, deserves more than 5. 10/10

First, it's good game undoubtedly. I love the style, the story, even the graphic. What should improve is the stability of the game, I found a lot of bugs that killing the mood, such as, the limited time schedule that remind me to complete the main quest before 3/613 when I am in 9/613, Facebook binding that never has been bind because section time out after very second I click bind. Go make it great guys, I really love to play it and looking forward the updates.

It's an interesting medieval rpg game, you get to choose your own path and the game did a good job providing different path. The issues I had was system poor performance, Its kinda lagging whenever you open the bloodline section. Characters name inconsistency in some of the conversation during story line. And when I tap other castle, menu, or anything sometimes it goes black like kinda loading but it wont loaded and I had to restart. Hope that helps you for further development!

I really like this game. I'm not giving it 5 stars because it glitches a lot during gameplay and requires a restart. And the leveling system is very slow in comparison to the level jumps in the missions. Especially when they force you to complete storyline missions(which cause the level jumps) by a certain time limit.
