Knitting Stitches

This is a simple, well-organised app with unobtrusive ads. It has no unnecessary filler and makes me feel inspired to try new stitches, but it's bare bones. If you are not a very experienced knitter you will need other resources. This app assumes you can read knitting abbreviations and diagrams. It doesn't explain any of the techniques it mentions. It's great if you either (1) just want to practice intricate stitches or (2) are an experienced knitter looking to jazz up an existing pattern.

I really love this app, and the others offered by this developer. The only thing is the all the ads are very distracting and pop up just about anytime you click on anything in the app. If they were just a banner or didn't take up the entire screen just about anytime you needed to click on the screen I'd rate the all the apps offered 5 stars.

What an amazing app, it is simple, clear instructions and the photos are very inspirational and colourful. I understand all the time and effort you have made to make this application and to help others is brilliant, so good luck and keep up the hard work and updates with more challenging stitch work would be a great addition in the future too. Now to start a big sampler blanket to learn and practice all of the stitches, or 1 blanket per catagory! Thanks 😊

I wish charts were included as well as the written intructions, especially for the lace patterns, even more so because there is a section on how to read charts. Aside from that this is a nice selection of stitch patterns, always a plus and free too

This is a fantastic app for trying out new stitches. It is really easy to use, very colourful with clear instructions. I love exploring the different variations and have tried quite a few on a scarf I'm knitting. Love it!

I absolutely love it. The instructions are precise and I have learnt so much from this. Could you perhaps make it such that it has regular updates to add new patterns? Kind of like updating the database. That way we never run out of patterns to use :)

Loving the references and simple guides. I'd like to see some links to recommended stitch videos... But it's really only because I'm new and easily overwhelmed by all the content out there.

It really gives inspiration when you know the type you want to knit but just can't think which would look best. Lots of new stitches to try and seeing what they look like first helps so much in deciding what to choose.

Love the variety of stitches! And the degree of difficulty! I have tried several and instructions are clear...result is perfect!

It would be even better to include circular needle options. Otherwise it's very nice. Clear and easy to follow and pretty stitches.

I've used two patterns so far, and definitely satisfied with the ease of directions. Super happy with the outcome.

App is good .stitches n lace designs a good . Annoying thing is that it does not include any chart for the easy description of the design.so not helpful to use but names of stitches and for designs it is good

Very easy to use, straight to the stitch patterns. I do wish it had more stitch patterns. I will keep this app.

As an experienced knitter I am always on the lookout for something that I can share with my learners and this app is beyond my wildest dreams. Well done

You probably know how much time I have spent on-line trying to find patterns. I have had this app on my phone probably for a few years...I just re-discovered it today. You have made my day!

So easy to understand and work out I'm new to knitting and found this a great help in learning how to do different patterns

It's a good atemt but a simulator would be better. If you make a knitting simulation then I will rate it 5/5.👍

I am a beginner. It was easy to read and seeing that stitch and the picture of the stitches is speechless.

Great little app for giving stitch ideas. Some take a big of understanding but I suspect that's me.

Patterns were separated for amount of difficulty. Plenty to work through
