It works as intended. I'm not too sure if people are just having issues whether it's older hardware or something else altogether, but if you do have an external sd storage on your android device, install this on your internal storage instead. Hopefully it helps.
application used to work great, but now it constantly Loops audio and does other weird application freezes.
Runs about 10 seconds and dies. Used to work, but sadly no longer does.
It just works! Unlike TuneIn! I wish I could cast it to my smart speakers.

Always runs in the background, crashes for no reason even when not in use. It is wasn't for the knkx stream id delete it and keep the npr app
Edit 8/3/2017: the random stopping has been replaced by random crashing. This app is very very bad. As other reviewers have noted, the knkx app randomly stops playing every few minutes. It's really not very usable right now, unfortunately.
Constantly says 'stopped. Sent in reports. No response. Uninstalling. I can support another jazz focused public radio station.
Needs a redesign. Not very flexible
To begin, I love this station however, this app is horrible. There are 4 different smartphones in my home with this app loaded. Without fail, the app will randomly shut down requiring a restart. Have uninstalled and reloaded numerous times to no avail. Samsung S7, HTC, Motorola, doesn't matter the make or model. Please, please, please fix this app.
Like others have said, app will play for a few minutes and die. I use TuneIn Pro and it works 24/7.... Too bad they are a great station, love the Blues on the weekend.
Please put a kill X for the app to shut it down when I'm done. It lingers and is annoying when trying to switch apps.
Love the station hate the app. It's very unreliable for the alarm clock function. Please fix it.

Keeps cutting out! I love your programming, but the app keeps cutting out for 1-10 seconds. I've tried uninstalling and reinsralling, but still continues. This problem really detracts from listening to music and trying to follow news stories. This doesn't happen with any of my other streaming apps.
