This app never works for me. Even though l'm a subscriber I can't use the app, it says, no connection. No matter how many times I've uninstalled and reinstalled it doesn't work

Every since the last update it takes 3 to 5 min to load articles. It is usless now.

UPDATE 1-28-2021. In addition to having to sign in at least once a day, I am now unable to do so when directed to the sign-in page. I am receiving various error messages and cannot sign in and read the articles I'm paying for through my N-S subscription. PREVIOUS: For the last few weeks the app makes me to have to sign in every day because it does not keep me signed in. It simply isn't worth the trouble. If the app isn't fixed ASAP I will cancel my paid subscription and delete the app.

More disappointing than the print issue. The News Sentinal used to be a great company to do business with. Not anymore! Not since they have sold out to Gannett and we now speak to a foreigner at customer service. I almost canceled instead of renewing because it took so long and had to repeat my address and credit card number so many times I thought I was being scammed. Especially when she refused to email me a confirmation that my bill was paid. Terrible way to run a business!!!!

This app could be a hoax and/or scam. I signed up for the subscription at $7/99/mo. Then, the local Knoxville News office sends me an additional bill for $9.99/mo and they do not acknowledge this subscription. So, I then call the phone number that is given by the app for subscription help. They immediately send me to another place that doesn't make sense, and want to give me $100 cash for my problems with this subscription. then start asking a bunch of questions for name, address, credit card number, etc. and eventually, I just hung up and considered this a scam ! What a way to run a business !

I am already a subscriber. Every time I use this app, the management insists I subscribe again. That must be the case because the app makes it easy to subscribe while hiding the login screen. How clever! How aggravating when I'm already paying $70 per month for reading content laden with ads.

Stories that aren't marked as subscriber only are being put behind a "Become a subscriber to read more!" paywall. Cannot read even one story all the way through, which makes this app useless to me as a reader. Unwilling to pay for a subscription because of previous user experience, and experiences of other users as detailed by the reviews.

Account Management setting includes, Sign out and Subscribe... REALLY? Not that it's difficult to navigate the app... There's no navigation outside the articles!

This app doesn't work. Only the regular news and USA Today update regularly. The editorial page hasn't updated in a month. The previous app worked.

It constantly blocks content saying I have to subscribe, yet I have an account and they take my money every month. The contact phone number goes directly to a scammer telling you you have won $$ that requires you to give them you cc #.

I get emails promoting articles, but I can't read them. It says it is for subscribers only. I am a subscriber, but there is no place to sign in. I have to go to the site separately to read the articles.

App will not keep my account logged in. Makes it unusable. After 5-6 free articles I am forced to login in before reading EVERY story. Want to support local journalism so I'll keep subscription but pointless to use on your phone.

I have to sign in to my account every time I open the app...come on Knox News fix this...it is now a month later and the app is still not fixed!

I cannot read some articles and have to go to the website, because it wants me to subscribe and I already have an account. Also, the e- capability is not on the app.

Opinion based news... The worst kind of news, Bias opinionated. Their app does not work well either, shows they care about "Doing things right and proper"

I can't access the site after the update. I installed, uninstalled, several times. Does not work

Required to log in multiple times daily... Completely unresponsive to requests for a fix.

The Knoxville News Sentinel has become irrelevant. After their acquisition by Gannett, there is no quality to their product

The recent update tanked the app and I can't access anything now.

THE ONLY NEWS ON THIS APP IS UT ATHLETICS... UNLESS YOU WANT NOTHING BUT UT SPORTS YOU SHOULD CANCEL TODAY

Ap does weird stuff and isn't totally user friendly.
