One star for customer support! The app uses entertaining and engaging methods for enriching one's vocabulary. I was extremely satisfied when I first discovered it and that's why I upgraded to their premium plan. Yet after changing to a new smartphone I was unable to restore my membership and despite contacting their support team, they never got back to help me resolve this issue. Hopefully, once they read this review they'll assist me with this problem; in which case I'll be changing it to 5⭐s.

Good if you want to spend some money. The lessons/challenges are well thought and made to be enjoyable. The free features are all good. It's just that for me, the constant prompt asking me to buy knudge pro is just a destroyer of immersion. It really got to me today, and I have uninstalled the app. If you dont mind seeing this pop up everytime, or if you have the extra money to buy knudge pro, this is the app for you.

I play quick rounds of the game when I feel unfocused or when I have difficulty with word retrieval. I've notice that I can retrieve the correct vocabulary words to express my thoughts more accurately quicker than in the past. I'm happy with the experience.

Great app. Really pushes use and practice with each word in the vocab course. One problem I've had is with the Word Maze game. It seems to be unresponsive. I swipe the letters and nothing happens or the wrong letters are highlighted. I had someone else play it to make sure it wasnt just me and it preformed the same. All the other games are great though.

The app works ok for the most part. It's always frustrating when you have to pay to get the full app. The overall look and feel is pretty good, ergonomic and modern. The echo game needs a lot of fixing. First, the voice is pretty unclear sometimes, it'll say something like "hupstart" which isn't even a word and then when I type in what it means it'll say that it said absurd. That's pretty absurd if you ask me. If you don't pay for pro then you don't get half the things, it's ok if you need vocab

Very fun and effective way to improve my English. I have ADHD and this app is a perfect way for me to learn. My problem with the app is that I'm a slow reader and the time limit is way too short (especially with the Words Checker). Also the level in Fly High goes up too quickly, I'm no longer able to finish the Daily Workout because it's gotten too hard. In my opinion I should only gain points in Fly High if I win the game so the progress would be more effective.

It it the Best App I have found so far to improve your English. The app is simple, on point, engaging, enjoyable. It offers much to improve your English vocabulary, grammar, learning with games, various courses and much more. The Pro version is totally worth it, you will never regret. It is one of the best Investments you could make. The Developer is also very prompt and helpful. Just go with it..👍🏻

Great app to learn new words. I just want few more features I think is essential for me. Firts, when I get a wrong answer or studing a second or third card (synonymous, examples), sometimes I just want to look into the definition card again. If I can look it up with a click it would me enormously helpful. Second, in the library menu for reviewing the cards, if there was an additional filter to only see the words in progress excluding the unread words would be nice, because I want to review the words I already learned before getting a new one.

The flashcards is probably the most helpful part of the app, as are the mini courses. Even though some courses are mediocre, they can be helpful as they teach you the rules with examples. The games could use improvements. The Journey segment is targetted to students, so if you're a professional writer I don't think it'll help you much (althought the new English course is coming). The narator voice is a computer, not a person, and it's disappointing to hear it. The app is cheap though: I got 3 months dirt cheap on sale, so it's worthwhile. Even so, I suggest you become a reader and read books and only sometimes visit these apps (free Magoosh Vocab app is also good for expanding the vocabulary, and their examples are far better written). Fantastic app. Great for multiple uses and for long term and short term use. Great value. Perfect in every way. Love how customizable it is and the friendly notifications. Very applicable to daily living and daily life. I love that I can strengthen my vocabulary/language in my spare time and strengthen multiple areas of my brain at the same time.

The app content was not adequate last year and I digested all the things I could learn on it and deleted it eventually. Recently I wanted to check it out if something new was added or not at all and amazed at first glance! The courses and games seemed to be really improved and got richer. The only thing I disliked is its price for the pro version. I literally just can't afford it more than a few months :/ It would worth the $ if the app had some etymology examples, pronunciations etc. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Good app. I like the daily quizzes to help you memorize vocabulary words. The app visits each word multiple times, ensuring you're building an understanding of them. However, the games are too easy if you're fluent in English. They're boring to the point they're unplayable; there should be an option to change the difficulty.

This app has helped me to improve my vocabulary, it comes with a variety of games to keep the learning process entertaining, it also features a lot of mini courses to help you improve your english even more. Although the free version is limited, I'd recommend paying the small fee to experience this app to its fullest. Highly recommended for beginners and experienced learners alike.

Wow! What an amazing, productive, positive, and resourceful app. I'm a college student who majors in social sciences and writes A LOT of technical papers. This app has significantly improved my English and has helped me in many ways including improved writing and translating new words; it also boosted my speaking and communication abilities. The app is easy to use, i love the daily words, love the quizzes and extra games, and i love the bright colored UI. Thank you developers!!!

A must for anyone who wants to improve their English. The games are great as well and the daily assignments help keep everything fresh. I made people at work download it because I had such a great time with it! I think room for improvement on some aspects such as the games having more variety of words such as the locker game, polarity etc. I also wish we had a way of adding words to repeat in lessons, especially words which are difficult and aren't easily heard in day to day speaking.

Great Application! I bought the pro version, one time buy, because it is worth it. I love the fact that through notifications keeps me in training. The vocabulary is getting from easy to difficult on your pace. And the greatest of all is that the simple games use the word connections and meanings in a way to make you remember. It is one of the best apps out there! Definitely worth buying.

Actually I don't have anything to complain about the app. I do really love the interface. The developer has made sure that the user learn the words that they see in the app by using various rounds like quiz, usage, antonyms and synonyms. They have also limited the number of words per day . They also follow the shuffling of the words in their alphabetical order. It is also provided with some minis . Yeah on the whole I love it.

Good, but would rather see adds and get more functionality than pay. but I may upgrade. Really seems to help me learn. One issue is the app will periodically give you a notification that checks of you recall a word. It pops up over any app or screen and you have several options to choose from. If you miss-tap, you may choose the wrong synonym/definition. I wish there was a way to confirm your choise before it submits

I first examined this to assist in ESOL tutoring but I've also found I've learned many new words as well, and have since purchased a premium subscription. You CAN teach an old dog new tricks! 😅 It's quite intuitive and the notifications are helpful in giving a microlesson. It's also packed with features. Feed your head!

Best app for learning English language. Please add a feature to open multiple course or mini course at same time, so that we can learn simultaneously. And also add the dictionary feature also.. at least in pro. It should include pronunciation, part of speech, synonyms, antonyms etc of each word. Pro users should have some extra perks otherwise what's the meaning of paying for premium.

It may seem like there is little inside, but once you start with it, you can boost your vocabulary a lot in no time. You would use the words daily at ease. Also don't forget to re read, or firstly write everything you've learned, because once you pass one of the lessons you wont be able to go back to see othere without interrupting the ongoing lesson. And of course there are games if you are up to them to test yourself on daily bases.

This app is helping me, as a senior, to realize how much I have forgotten since my school days. It's actually entertaining, with a twist of fun playing the included games, to refresh my memory and to re-learn what I may have forgotten or I did not learn. Helps to keep my "retired" mind exercised. Just like the body needs activity to maintain functionality, so does the brain; this app is doing what I need and want.

This is what an app should be. Simple, nointimidating, fun and informative. I get occasional notifications throughout the day where it tells me what a word is or if I remember what a word was that it had previously defined. The words get gradually more interesting and my knowledge base increases. So now when I get a notification sound, I hope it's a text from family or friends, my sports scores or a new word from nudge. Nice work!

I am loving this app. It has all the features that I could ever ask for. The cards that pop up everyday are very essential in my learning. The interval they take to pop up also help in making the new words stick on the mind. I love the strategy that has been taken in its development. Use of images for different words create visualizations making it easier to remember not only the words but also their meanings. This app is great for learning and you should not think twice about installing it.

Probably one of the most complete apps that I'm using to learn Enlgish. Personally, I recommend to fork over the premium (lifetime, so long as posible, sometimes it values even less than yearly), since I guess the extra games, offline courses and tools are useful enough to worth the effort. The only think I could ask for would be more games and minis, but no longer than that.

An amazing app that has helped me improve my Englsih vocabulary by an enormous amount. Results have also been visible in my school essays and projects, which have had a significant increase on the gradescale. I cannot address enough how the service and learning techniques that come with this app have improved my ability to converse with people and formulate english texts. I greatly recommend this app!

I love the notifications for the tests to help me remember the words I've learned to further broaden my vocabulary. I've tried other vocab apps and they don't compare, purely because you have to actually go into the app and just read instead of the nice and creative quizzes they give in the notification bar with this app. Very nice app, I highly recommend this app to anyone looking to deepen their diction.

This app should be in everyone's bag.. Download it... So the above one is my previous review which dates back to 2018. (which also happens to be my first abd only review on any app). It has been more than 2 years and I havent uninstalled this app and I also see new courses added to it which could be accessed through credits (that you can ear through learning). I change nothing, this app is amazing and I'm always having it in my phone.
