Used KOA App pre-pandemic alot, was very helpful and found the parks well maintained and we felt safe staying there. If I run into a bad one, Corporate will hear from me!!!
Enjoy it, if I had to complain I would wish you could search by area on the maps kind of like Google maps but other than that really good app.
Great app, let's you see camp sites and what each one have to offer. Phone number for each campsite and what time offices open and close.
Last year the app would let me make a reservation for almost a month. Now it says I have to call the campground. Some of them are not open year round. This setting needs to go back to what it was.
KOAs are great places to stay!!! Whether we bring our camper or stay in a cabin, we always have the best experiences!!
KOA's are our standard of choice, and those are high. When we're not seeking our usual (out of the way place) and are traveling between stops, we always look for a KOA. It fits the bill most times and sometimes well beyond! I highly recommend these camping sites. Try Leavenworth, WA! You'll be pleasantly surprised. Our favorite so far.
Does not support map in landscape mode. In portrait mode it highlights KOA campgrounds that are not the one selected by touching the screen. You cannot select and copy campground addresses for use in other mapping programs.
Easy to make reservations and check campgrounds. Don't like the price estimates when viewing available spaces
I found that the KOA app is easy to go through state by state to look at all the KOAs. My family used the app last summer to stay at the Sheby Mansfield KOA in Ohio. We needed a cabin that was handcap assisable, they all helped us with registering for a very nice cabin. We had an excellent time. Thank you all!
This is a great fit for my family. The app makes it super convenient. You should still call because sometimes the app does not catch up to the actual reservations. There might be something open
Great app when on the road. Love it when in RV or on motorcycle. The great majority of KOA campgrounds are clean and friendly.
Was a good app I used all the time. Now it constantly closes and unable to make reservations. Emails apps@koa but still ongoing problem. Why have online reservation and not be able to maintain. Please fix the bug!!

When we plan travel, first we go the app to see what KOAs are along our route. Hotels have less and less services and are a declining value. KOAs are our home away from home and closer to the beautiful natural world.
We have traveled from the southern coast to the western country. Each and every KOA had great staff! Very welcoming and informational! We don't camp any other way.

Good app but could be more detailed about reservations

This app is quite good, with few exceptions. While planning our trips, I would like to use the app to confirm our plans should there be a need to make changes. It is quite a few steps to enter your account and find your reservations which in my opinion should have better access. As well, the app's connection to Google calendar has been inconsistent. Not all reservations transfer. #1 Issue: I would really like to be able to reserve a specific site rather than just a site category.
I use the app often when we're traveling. however while trying to book for next summer I found it impossible to see that I had everything booked properly. it would not show me the full list of current reservations. This makes it impossible to be sure that you have everything booked correctly?? very frustrated!
The updated app is less user friendly and not as intuitive as the older version. The updated app does not remember your preferrences. If you should press the go back button on your phone or computer for any reason it will take you back to preferrences and you have to start over. If you check future availability for a site, it is not obvious how to go back to your reservation details without starting over. This new reservation system is frustrating if you are researching multiple KOA's.
The app makes it so convenient to find the perfect Koa and booking online really works for us. You can map your trip and find things to do. Very helpful
