KOCOWA

When I first installed this app it was great. I found shows I love, and there weren't that many ads. But after it updated I couldn't watch any shows without having to watch 3 ads. Every 5 minutes of a show would have an ad break, and after the ad breaks the show would stop playing. The ads wouldn't be such a big deal if they didn't stop the show from playing. KOCOWA, please fix this problem ASAP!!

I love the app. I downloaded it to watch some nice korean romance films, but one of the problems I have is when I try to watch an episode from the beginning, it stops at 2 seconds but the audio seems to continue. Second, in the middle of watching the episode, it will freeze randomly and just pause for a long amount of time. Ads don't bother me as much as other people. But overall I think the app I'd amazing! I didn't put 5 stars for the continuously pausing while watching an episode though.

The app is really good and I enjoy the shows they offer! However, after the most recent version they have updated, I can't access any shows or watch anything and end up being logged out of the app. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting my phone, and many other actions to try and make the app work on my phone. Please fix!

The app in itself is not very intuitive. For example, I have to scroll from left to right from the first episode to the most recent. When I'm watching a drama I like to be able to navigate to the current episode fairly quickly. On a side note, will you be ever supporting android tv? Because that would be ideal, I tend to gravitate to watch something from my android tv like viki or Netflix, granted I can cast to the TV but it's much more hassle than grabbing the remote.

The media wouldn't play. I tried upwards of ten times to watch a single episode and the ads would play, of course, but then when it came time for the episode "media could not be played" popped up and it would close. It's literally the most useless app. Don't waste your time. You're better off with some other app like viki because, while the ads there suck so so much and it is also quite frustrating to use, at least you'll actually get an episode every once in a while.

This app is great! Very very nice, but when i tried to finish the Hwarang series, the screen would freeze and stay there at the "KOCOWA" screen for minutes. I tried going out of the app and then go back in but it didnt work, i tried restarting my phone, it didnt work, and I deleted app and then reinstalled it and it still wouldnt work :(

At first it was good; but now when coming back to the show you're watching after an advertisment break it sometimes will continue to play the audio for the ads during the show and the playback controls won't work forcing me to quit out of the show to have to go back into it. And this problem happens several times during any given show. Please fix this problem.

It's a really amazing app and has all the shows I want but when it goes to commercial, the commercial audio continues in the background as the show continues. Also, after this happens, the buttons to pause the show and rewind/fast-forward disappears. Please fix this, I really don't wanna delete such a good app.

I love the shows on here, but everytime I get an ad it lags out and after I can hear the shows audio but the ad continues to play!! I just wanna watch the shows I dont minf watching ads but it's very frustrating if I have to restart the app every 5 mins to watch it!! It took me 2 hours to watch one episode!!! Please fix it!! I love this app.

Good shows but some episode of certain shows won't play. I refreshed many times, closed out and got back in the app, and even uninstalled. I keep getting the same problem. It's frustrating because it's not only one episode that does this, it's multiple. I keep having to skip over those and I miss so much of the story.

There's 3 ads each 10 minutes, there's a lot of lagging ( by a lot I really mean it ) sometimes it doesn't play videos correctly, but it does give you free shows that are good quality. It's just that there's more shows you have to pay then what are free, but that's understandable. Lastly, I think it would be better to let the old controls ( scope left or right, tapping the left side or right side of the screen. )

Even tho this app has commercials, most of them has the option of choosing to shorten those to under 5 seconds. The only issue with this is the commercials pop up, sometimes in the middle of sentences. Commercials could be more appropriately placed. There are lots of free series/movies to choose from, many of them free.

From what I could tell it was a nice app. The only thing was there were too many adds. I mean right in the middle of a good seen one just decides to pop up and not just one but like 3 to 5 of them! Also because of that I had to RESTART the whole thing!! And have to find where I left off!! Very annoying. But the concept of the app is good. Just for the LOVE of GOD PLEASE fix this MAJOR issue.

After subcribing, cannot open android app to stream visual media. App screen is frozen, won't open to home page and won't close when I hit the back button. No error message. Just frozen dark gray screen with kocowatv logo in the middle. Have followed instructions on your help link and uninstalled/installed several times without any results. This seems to be a technical error on your end. Update: Took phone to private commercial service provider to get issue fixed. All better now. Great app!

I loved this app I was non stop watching this but ever since the update I can't watch none of my shows no more? like it would act like if it was going to start but then it stops and just stays frozen or on a black screen and they only thing that plays is the commercial but that's it then it would just stop playing. UPDATE: Thank you guys for fixing our building the problem that was keeping me from enjoying your shows this app is awesome and amazing I love it!!!

Really wanted to like this app, but it has many annoyances. Casting is shoddy. It just stops randomly playing and kicks back to logo screen. If it buffers, loads, plays, and if you pause via Assistant or via app, it hijacks your screen by popping up the streaming screen, even when you're in the middle of doing something in another app. Doesn't autoplay, no next button and so on. Interface is clunky, doesn't save your progression. Difficult to figure out what episode you were on and much more.

This network is unstable 80 percent of the time. Strangely, it works fine when i use it thru viki. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and I do not have similar problems with other streaming channels. This is the most expensive streaming service I have but has worked so little that it is an exercise in frustration to try watching it.

I love this app, but I don't personally like the fact that when you are watching a show, the most recent episodes cost money. I understand it's a paid program etc. I don't mind you have to pay either. However it could be better if when you clicked on the show it at least tell you somewhere that more recent episodes require a subscription, this was you wont end up warching 90% of a show before finding out you cannot finish it without paying.

I'm a paid subscriber and haven't been able to watch a single episode of any drama because all I get is an error message that says media failed to play. I've cleared cookies, restarted phone, uninstalled and reinstalled app multiple times, and I can't even use it. Finally uninstalled app and watch Kocowa on my desktop. Bummer. I really wanted the app to work.

Unless you subscribe the content is very limited. I found this app in a YouTube ad for The Secret Life of my Secretary. After seeing the add so many times, I finally decided to download. Lo and behold, you can only watch past the first couple episodes of that show if you pay a whopping $7.99. I'm sorry but Netflix isn't much more than that. WAY too many ads as well. Seems like there are a lot of subscription issues as well by the reviews.

Love this app. Subtitles are always on point unlike VIKI which make you wait days after an episode is released for the subs to be ready. I would give it 5☆, but I have to restart my tablet or phone every time I exit and return to the app days or even a few hours later. Please fix this. It's always in a buffering mode and it has nothing to do with my wifi because I have tried different ones and the problem is still the same

Update: This app seems to have gotten worse with kicking me off. It does it way more than usual. I'm not sure it's even worth the membership at this point. None of my other apps kick me off while I'm using it. It CONSTANTLY kicks me off the app and when I try to rewatch the same video, I have to start back at the beginning. It doesn't save my place. It's very frustrating to not be able to watch an episode all the way through.

I love the shows on this app. Now I can stay up to date every week. Only thing I have issues with is the Chromecast icon doesn't appear on the app and my Chromecast is connected to the wifi. All the other apps are able to connect and I can clearly see the Chromecast icon. That's my only issue, hopefully they can workout the bugs on this one

I am having trouble with starting an episode that I think is important to the story. It just doesnt play. Ive tried restarting my phone and uninstalling then reinstalling the app and none of it works. I checked if the show I was watching was on the FREE tab, and it was so I shouldn't need to pay for anything. I am happy to watch as many ads to support the app but I am really disappointed and frankly quite annoyed because I really got into the show and I didn't want to miss any bit of the plot.😕

I will change my rating once you guys fix this bug issue. Update 3/19/19: I paid the subscription to the app but can't watch anything. It tells me that i have to "buy" first but when I click on buy, it says i already have a subscription! Idk wth is going on! I'm a paying customer but I can't access anything!!! I've tried uninstalling it and installing it again but it didn't work either. I've sent you several emails regarding this problem but no response.

I have been trying to get through and figure out what was wrong with this app for months. First I pay for premium and then I get ripped off. Second, really three thirty seconds ads?! I can't skip or anything, I would understand two, yet three. Really?! Then there are episodes that an date all the way to last year that are locked. I'm serious for one of the shows I watch, you have over 40 of the episodes locked. With new ones coming out every week. I have to wait a month or longer to watch an ep

I love this app because i recently got into the Korean dramas, but this specific drama I'm into at the moment, i got to episode 24 and it won't play. It stops at 00:02 seconds and freezes. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting my phone, or restarting the app. None of it works and this show is under the free section. I'll gladly watch adds but this is kind of annoying..

I would like to keep this app because I love the dramas... but it constantly has playback failure, or it takes forever to load, and I cant get it to stay connected to Chromecast!! I really dont want to always have to watch from my phone or tablet. I really hope these r issues that can be resolved soon.

This is a beautiful app with various shows ranging from a short collection to a small library in a wide verity of categories! Each show in its-self is wonderful and stunningky well done. My favorite feature to this app is the, 'lock screen' as other stremaing services don't have this funtion. I've come to enjoy a fast, convenient and well made service. This app frigging rox! It has an added bonus to all the things that make my heart a flutter! Great job and I hope you guys keep improving! 💝😊

It always restarts an episode multiple times when casting. I have tried clearing data reinstalling restarting phone etc nothing works. Looking at other reviews it does that at the points of commercials but I have a paid subscription so what in the world kocowa?! My subscription renewal is coming up I'm contemplating switching services. This has been going on for months without a fix.
