Antoine Christophe Agbepa Mumba, aka Koffi Olomide, born on 13 July 19563 in Kisangani, Democratic Republic of Congo, is a Congolese singer-songwriter, singer and producer. In 1986 he created and directed the group Quartier latin international which will launch young talents like Suzuki Luzubu 4x4, Bouro Mpela and others who will become African stars like Fally Ipupa. He launched his own Koffi Central label in 2013.

After debuting as a lyricist, Antoine became famous in 1977 with Synza, sung in trio with Papa Wemba and King Kester Emeneya. Then follows a hollow period with vinyls such as Ngobila, Henriquet, Elle and me ... His career has a second start from 1990 by signing with Sonodisc with whom he will chained successes and will reach its peak.

Considered a legend of Congolese and African music, he is the first black-african artist to play and fill the mythical Bercy4 hall and one of the 12 African musicians, the only Congolese, to have been quoted in the 1001 albums that you must listen to before dying5.

In his 40-year career, Koffi Olomide has recorded 28 studio albums including 7 with the Latin Quarter and one with Papa Wemba and 18 live albums for a total of more than 300 songs. His work will earn him 7 gold records including one with his group, 5 Kora Awards, including 4 during the 2002 edition thanks to his album Effrakata. On October 13, 2015, he published the 13th Apostle, a quadruple album of forty songs that he claims to be the last album of his career6. The same day released the clip of the song Selfie which had a great success on social networks and more than 10 million views on Youtube, he considers as the little brother of the song Act released 17 years earlier.
