KOHLER Konnect

As a standalone app, it works great. But connecting Kohler to a smart home is frustrating. Can you get it to work, somewhat? Yes. But if you have an established Google ecosystem, and have set up and linked other devices to Google assistant, you'll quickly realize how convoluted the developers made this connection. I love the faucet but wish I could request a refund on the "smart" functionality. Many a houseguest has been unimpressed by this Kohler product when I've attempted to demonstrate.

Someone from the Kohler executive team needs to take a look at these reviews. It's absurd you would spend this kind of money and it be this dysfunctional. Simply getting it to connected to Wi-Fi was a complete nightmare. On top of that, they have a placeholder for Google home but it doesn't actually allow you to connect it to Google home through the app. You have to go to Google home okay fine but the problem is it doesn't work anyway, says it can't find any devices in the account. TRASH.

Can't connect to the Anthem. What's the point in having a device that only really works with an app if you can't even connect to the app. Spent a ton of money on the Anthems to be able to run multiple shower heads and I can't even do that because I can't set them up. Anthem doesn't even show up in the available device list in this app. How many 1 star reviews does it take for you people to fix this? If I would have known I wouldn't even able to use my device I never would've bothered

Yikes. Spent two hours trying to connect my Verdera mirrors to no avail. Wish I would have read the app reviews before purchasing. Agreed with the last review that the Exec Team needs to get involved. Significant investment and misleading marketing to have such massive design flaws. If I could return them, I would in a heartbeat. Shame on you Kohler.

I'm not able to log in keeps giving me internal server error. Just got it for Christmas will return if it doesn't work. Not satisfied at all 3/24/2022 This app still is not working for me even after the update. I'm getting an error message that still says there is a bug. So it's unfortunate that I still can't use this App and haven't been able to use it since I got my new shower head

Very poor quality app for expensive device. Uses cheep third party login system. When it is working, it dose a good job of dispensing a cup of water. Connecting Alexa works, but I would like to not have to say "... ask kohler to ...". But really that is an Alexa skill issue, not app issue. Device forgot WiFi and needed to be re-added. Hangs on connecting when reconnecting device. Then dose not add it. Got replacement control board, still has issues. This time it did connect to to WiFi, but didn't add to app. Can see it on the WiFi network, but can't do anything with it. Will not buy any "smart" Kohler products again.

This app is horrible. It simply does not work. It disconnects itself from Alexa and works maybe 10% of the time. The phone app works fine but seriously who wants to take out their phone and use an app to fill a glass of water? The whole point of the purchase was the voice command - and it doesn't work. Additionally, it needs to be able to dispense in more varied quantities 1/4 cup, 1/2 cup, 2/3 cup...3 1/2 cups etc. This product is not helpful for cooking even when it does work.

I have no choice but to retract my previous review. This software is unreliable, poorly designed garbage. The interface for my DTV+ I'm trying to use it with is terrible. Can't get it to integrate with Google Assistant either despite Kohler specifically mentioning the feature. I regret upgrading from my DTVii system which was flawless. 4/14/20. Still a mess. Still no clean support for Google Assistant. Now I have to login every time I open the app even though it sends me notifications.

This doesn't even work half the time. It just shows the loading screen, even if I close it out or force stop.

Works sometimes, but basically a 50/50 proposition whether or not it will work. Always a surprise. I give it a command and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I rebooted (power off/on) the valve under the kitchen sink which controls the faucet multiple times. No change. Very disappointing.

So far I haven't been able to get the Alexa Verdera mirror to work. I spoke with Kohler technical support twice now and the first time they told me to reset the wifi connection. The mirror connects to the wifi, but I am unable to see the mirror in Kohler Konnect (KK). The second time I called I was told that there is a problem with the KK software and the developers were working on a fix. After software fix, still not seeing mirror in KK software. Wayfare won't take it back. Don't buy this.

Poor disappointing product. It shows connected to my WI fi but will not connect to my Google nor will the app itself work. It tells me to turn it on and then wave my hand to turn it off and I should be able to use all the functions yet it won't let me, It's like it exists but doesn't exist... And by all the other reviews it truly is a pos, And all they do is come back and tell you to contact them to resolve bla bla bla but clearly that didn't solve everyone else issues

I was very disappointed that the Alexa commands did not work with the mirror. Seems to be classic app integration with Android vs IOS issues. It does not work with Android. I can still use the speaker for music but commands to the mirror lights will not work. Makes a $1300 mirror just a very expensive mirror I guess.

Update still not working !! Why are you having issues with this? Its not hard to get the application to work in andriod or iphone systems. The new update isnt as user friendly if any then the last release and the alxea link for voice control doesnt complete now instead of the voice feature working once in a while, it doesnt work at all.. please fix this Old comment Why wont it konnect with amazon alexa ? It worked before with my shower and now when i installed the faucet the skill wont enable

Is it greed Kohler? I have probably a 5000$ plus DTV shower. 2 valve controls, real rain, numerous body sprays hand held, etc. And in order to use the app I need another module! . The DTV is already connected to my network! It's bad enough you need a 600$ Com module which is essentially a 20$ network switch with a poe port. Integrate access over Lan, no need for a wifi module. There is no need for wifi to control my DTV from the app, I can connect direct by ip which is a very poor interface.

-20000000 stars if possible. Don't waste your money on these products because the app won't allow them to connect. Getting my money back today! App freezes, won't set up AND app wants location to phone all the time and terms and service collects users information and data to resell. Use caution and read the print!

Doesn't work with Verdera Mirror. Trash app. 6 hours on the phone with a tech and still doesn't work. Better to by a standard mirror and get an amazon high fidelity speaker for superior sound and connectivity at a far lower price!!!

Update: App no longer usable. Constantly get server error at launch then it freezes. Invasive permissions! This app requires access to make calls and to your location. Neither of these permissions are necessary for the functions of the app. Kohler is just invading your privacy. One star unless a legitimate reason for these permissions is provided. Also, demamds your cellphone to do anything. YOU DON'T NEED MY CELLPHONE FIR THIS APP TO FUNCTION! INVASIVE!

Purchased brand new today. Should have read the reviews on the app before purchasing. Thought I'd spring for the extra money on this only to find that the app/box doesn't work. Watched the videos read the directions even went threw my router to make sure everything was working correctly. Is Kohler even attempting to resolve these obvious reoccurring problems? 400+ on a faucet guys... If your going to do something do it right why on earth would someone pay so much for what they think is quality?

I purchased a Setra Voice Faucet. I get to the final stage of the "add product wizard" but never adds the faucet to the app. I have tested it on 3 different Samsung Phones running Android 9 and Android 10. I see the faucet connecting to my router and my DHCP server is providing an IP. I am able to ping the IP address of the faucet just fine. Kohler Support sent me a replacement control box and it behaves exactly the same. It connects to the router just fine but the faucet never gets added.

The Serta faucet connected to the Internet *green light) but will not connect to the app.

Wish that I could rate negative stars App no longer controls my kitchen faucet. It says connected but absolutely nothing happens when requesting water. Sorry that we spent so much extra and have gotten nothing but frustration in return.

The app is literally unusable, and there is no use contacting Kholer (K). It's not my job to be a tester for a high-priced product. K got into the "smart" world way before they were ready to invest the resources to develop a quality product. This faucet it good for touch activation only, and I can get a far nicer faucet with that simple feature. K's faucet is mediocre at best. It's clear K is not focused on quality, and I will no longer purchase any Kholer products. Way to tank a brand.

This is absolutely ridiculous. I've spent a 100k on a bathroom remodeling with all Kohler products. This verdera mirror doesn't work or connect to the app. So now I'm stuck with a lit mirror 24hra a day. Like others I should have read the reviews. Kohler this is absolutely intolerable and reprehensible. Thanks for the rip off

Purchased Kohler Setra faucet and after several hours of troubleshooting, the app will not connect to faucet.

Simply doesn't work. Tried many times to connect my new faucet to WiFi. After I connect to the faucets WiFi and go to the next step where you authorize the faucet, nothing happens until the light goes red, indicating that setup had failed.

Won't connect to moxie. Updated and retried. Uninstaller and retried. Shame that I can't even use the moxie as a Bluetooth speaker. Why can't I? Shame. Kohler has been slipping for years.

I wish 0 stars was an option. This app just doesn't work. The app hangs every time I try to connect the Setra faucet. I expected more than this for such a high priced faucet.

Frustrated because I've spent over 400 dollars on this faucet only for it to not connect to my wifi or my Google hub max. If I can't get it fixed I may have to pack it up and take it back

Really should be a zero. Plain and simple....does not work. No response from support either. It's a shame because their products are great, tech not so much.
