Komik Reader - Free

hi i've been using this app since came to play store, but in the lates updates i've notice a bug, when you erase a file run into a error the app close and you have to open it again, but if you try to erase more than 1 files run into the error again but doesn't arase any of the files selected. other than that the apps is great.

Some cbr files there are pages it can't read and it gets stuck. Have tried them in Perfect Viewer and they work fine. 3 stars for an attractive, easy to use interface, but afraid I will be using Perfect Viewer (despite its ugly and confusing interface) as I know it can read all my files. Will use this again if it gets sorted in a future update.

The best part of the app is the way it displays my collection. Easy to find and distinguish from diff comics. Biggest issue for me is the annoying accidental page turn or that page scroll that pops up from accidentally touching the screen. Also zooming, and page turning is suuuuuper slow and loading takes forever just for the next page, this is appalling and makes reading my comics more of a nuisance than a pleasure.

There are a number of things that could use some work. The zooming, the highlighting, and the annoying sidebar that is always popping out on me - interfering with my reading. Those are only the first 3 things I thought of . I could mention more , but since I'm only rating 3 stars I thought I'd leave it at that .

This app works really well and ran fast. It can open all my comics and have very small ad windows that usually won't bother you. Only issue is that all the thumbnails can eat up space quickly. I only have few comics and it already used 6MB... that's why the 4*. Otherwise excellent app.

I wish I could give it more than 3 stars, but I find no way set a folder on my microsd card as root. I did manage to get it to open by creating a folder on my page for it, clicking a file and Komik would open it. The other problem is that it either gives me an error, or goes back to asking me to set root folder whenever I turn my screen from portrait to landscape.

Great app, it is great for reading comics better than others to me. Seems to open more files, able to go to the next comic, and allows resizing. I do not think other apps do but I could be wrong. It just crashes from time to time, say once a day with after reading 3-4 comics, so not super often. Not sure I would give it 5 stars but it is really close.

may just be the device in using but its slow at loading thumbs and only views comic correctly from vertical orientation. I'm new at this so I might have to edit later down road but so far it seems it could be better but a good note is that it saves progress but some of the chapters are out of order and haven't found a way in software to reorder..

Exceptional comic reader; fast, light, intuitive, simple. Thumbnail generation speed could be improved though. And please update the app so it can hide the nav bar in KitKat. App force closes when trying to delete files larger than 100mb. Even with this niggles, the best dedicated CBZ/CBR reader currently available.

As soon as I opened a comic through this app I was really happy given its functionality and ease of use. But everytime I rotate the screen, the app exits saying " file could not be loaded" . i would have loved to give a 4 or 5 but unfortunately it's a single star to bring the glitch to the concerned people's notice.

This app has worked perfectly ever since I first installed it. Love the organization and the thumbnail views. The only improvement I could suggest is an option to select which thumbnail is displayed on the face of each sub folder, it's a minor thing that I think would improve this app just that much more, but it's already perfect anyways so thanks and great work on this one.

Gud app bt ALWAYS crashes wheneven i try to delete a comic from d library. Also a little slow to focus after turning or zooming a page.The page in some comics become black n white after zooming.This all started happening after i hv updated my galaxy tab 3.Plz look into these problems.

Crashes when I try to use Komik app to delete my read mangas. Not a big deal since I can manually delete them via connect the tablet to the computer.

Superb app. Host of features including good arrangement of comics and folders, shows which ones I'm currently reading and how much I've progressed, automatically turns double page spreads into horizontal full screen view (unlike ComicRack) and quick response while turning pages. And all this for free with minimal advert interruption. A must-have app.

I read A LOT of comics from my Galaxy and went through A LOT of similar apps, but this one dominates overall. it's well organized and takes up very little space! I just wish there was a double-tap to zoom-in instead of always having to pinch

Tried all the other comic apps, this is hands down the best. Manages all the file types I throw at it, loads from the sd card fine, and the best looking UI. Can't believe it's free to top it all off. One improvement that I would love to see is an option to save the thumbnails, as I have 1,000's of comics and it has to generate them all at each startup.

My favorite reader so far. I do wish that it would offer an option to invert the portrait view, however. It would make it easier to read while charging my tablet on its stand. Minor complaint, obviously; otherwise, it's ideal. Thanks for a great app!

Works as a charm, by far the best app out there: simple, yet does everything it is required to do. I want to throw my monies at you for this, so if you implement a paid version (nothing extra, just maybe remove the ads), then I'll be the first to pay for it. You deserve it.

Aside from that, works fairly well as far as storing comics and sorting by series, so no complaints there. If they would just fix the bug I mentioned would happily rate 5 stars.

This app is smooth quick and awesome all in one. One minor thing that prompted this review: sorting. I have a comic series that goes 1-101, and after issue 10, instead of 11, the next issue is 100. I couldnt find any other way to sort either, by name, date or anything like that. I suppose I could just rename my files to read 010, 011, 012, etc to fix my issue, but having a basic optional function such as sorting would be a nice feature.

As a simple comic viewing app it is among the best. It's too bad that this app seems to have been abandoned by the developer, because unfortunately, it breaks in Android 4.4 KitKat. Unless the developer comes back and releases a new version, its usable lifetime has expired.

Great comics viewer. Definitely the top viewer out of the popular apps. I love the integrated library/viewer. Makes my massive collection manageable. There are a few things that keep me from giving it a 5 star, however. I've experienced fairly frequent(though minor) stability issues. It often crashes, and then immediately asks me if I want to pick up where I left off. No biggie, but annoying. The thumbnail generation in library view takes FOREVER with a large collection. Still, it's well worth it.

I have issues maybe once out of every 250 issues. I've tried other comic readers to find something kore dependable, but no such luck. I have issues every other issue or every ten issues on top rated apps. I suppose I'll use this as main one, and the others as backuo, because this one is the best out of all of them.

Recommended and does everything you need it to do. A superb app.The only thing you could change to make it five stars is thumbnails because you don't get thumbnails for folders within folders. This app is really well presented and although it doesn't have a lot of features it does everything you need it to do.

It used to be my favourite but now every time I try to delete a comic or to use the page viewer (I don't know what's the name of that side bar that shows you the pages) it stops working. It's really annoying. Also sometimes when I try to turn to the next page it only says loading... It doesn't work.
