KOMO News Mobile

Does not chromecast. I cannot watch on my tv. Ads are annoying and intrusive. The screen is an ad minefield. If you touch the screen when the app starts, you are sent to the sponsor website . KOMO gets their click money and viewer gets frustrated and annoyed. Don't waste your time with this app

Its the only Seattle news app I use. Headlines and content update at a decent rate, breaking news can usually be followed fine without jumping to the browser, and very few ads to have to navigate around. KOMO app is much better than other local stations mobile offerings IMO .

After being completely dissatisfied with the Komo app years ago I thought I would try it again.... The weather for my zip code isn't accurate at all. Says precipitation is 0% yet it's been raining steady for over 4 hours and this inaccuracy happens regularly. WeatherBug and AccuWeather is much more accurate!

WARNING: This app is a bandwidth HOG!!! after using this app for several months, I checked its usage, and it was 10 times higher than anything else on the system. if you have metered bandwidth, avoid this app like the plague!

I was pretty disappointed and honestly a little disgusted when I tried to read the details of an amber alert to see that the small very important description designed to help find a child was broken up by no less than three ads.

Who does the writing for the news? The misspellings and grammer are unbelievable!!! I'm switching to an app that has competent newscasters!

Oh just terrible! Tried KOMO's app again after deleting it a few years ago. Half baked, terrible UI, poorly done, generic weather integration. Simclair Media is not even trying.

I love Komo and all of the personalities there too... unfortunately you do not get the personality experiences on an app. the app has weather, but I have a feeling all it is going to show for the next nine months is rain.

uninstalled app after countless app freezes, excessive adds when reading articles and poor push notifications. going somewhere else for my local news.

Love this app. Up to date with alerts and live streams of news casts. Great content and simple to use. Keeps me up to date on the stateside Covid19 situation

Always have to restart because when you guys take a break and play music I have to regresh. It loses signal everytime and refresh button just romes

I don't live in the Seattle area right now, but my family is still there, & this app helps me keep up to date on what's going on at home. In fact, I sometimes know more about what's happening, than they do!

Really annoying to be penalized for watching the news on a device with obnoxious commercials every 2-3minutes!

Could not find what I was looking for! I was looking to see if I was going to get a stimulus check. All they talked about was why immigrants were not receiving a stimulus!

This is the definition of yellow journalism by the CEO's of NBC. A reporter does an article and gets fired because the CEO's don't agree with real news.. Even if that news is not enjoyed by everybody it is still news.... (HEADLINE Article to research) "Jonathan Choe, a veteran reporter for the ABC television affiliate KOMO in Seattle, has written an essay on Medium claiming he was fired for his coverage of a rally by the controversial Proud Boys group". (Another NBC company that needs to go)

Not sure why but this app keeps crashing.

Poor, always shut down, need to hire better dev.

The news stories are not up to date in real time.
