This product is just horrible on Android. I had to use my iPad to install it because I couldnt make it work on Android. It's also a hit and miss when I use it with the Google Speaker. I have two Koogeek outlets and I ask Google to turn both on or off and sometimes it would work but more often than not, only one would turn on or off and its not consisten which would work and which wouldnt. I just cant recommend products by this company.
Not good. Switch works fine manually but App won't connect to light switch or vice versa. Followed all instructions. Emailed support twice and no response. Don't buy the Koogeek Double Dimmer switch until set up issue is resolved. I will update this review as soon as I have the issue resolved.
It can't find c**p. Useless App, Useless Product. My Internet was weak, so I boosted the Internet in the room where the switch is. 100mb plus speeds, yet the App will not talk or find the dimmer switch. Total waste of time and money. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
This is one of the least intuitive apps I've ever used. This product is clearly designed for iOS and Android is an afterthought. I can't get it to connect with my Android 9 phone but I can with my Android 8 tablet. That's NOT what I wanted to do.
absolute rubbish, can't sync their lighstrip with their android app no matter what. (works on my iPad though on iOS app!) but even though I've synced the lighstrip using my iPad, the android app still doesn't see any devices (SAME ACCOUNT!!!)
LS-1 will not connect no matter how many times I try. I even made a separate 2.4Ghz network for it and it still wont connect. The app and the documentation in the box say completely different things for connecting.
I was worried when the app only had 1.6 stars. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to setup and control my lightstrip on the app and with Google home in less than 5 minutes. My experience is a good one so far.
Total rubbish. It simply doesn't work and my Smart Plug Klup1 just isn't listed. Whatever I try nothing connects and the help guide is simply patronising. I will be returning these plugs and steering well clear of anything Koogeek!
Doesn't work with Google home. Koogeek app doesn't recognize the device or list it. Could only get it to work with iOS app. Once installed cant rename the devices. Not happy going to the trash.
Doesn't work. Both devices connected through a 2.4ghz wifi, cannot find a smart plug p1 eu. With apple home not a problem. Resetted many times, green led is flashing and wifi name of the plug is correctly displayed.
The alexa integration is extremely poor. Most of the time alexa just says the device hub isint responding. I open the app and it works to turn off and on try alexa, it's a no go. If you are thinking of using alexa integration, my advice is don't, as you are wasting your time.
I have the Koogeek Ls1 it's horrible won't ever connect or work on either the app or Google home. Save your money. I only wish I could get my money back! It's been a year and it's been hard trying to make something work that just refuses to.
GARBAGE. Doesn't work and wants permissions to access absolutely everything on your phone just to turn light on!! Save yourself the hour of tech rage this causes.
Not sure if it is the app or device but it works very bad. It often says the device is not responding . Now after 3 month it does not work at all. Other brands works fine.
Unfortunately, the app can't register my bulbs on the cloud, an error message is displayed. Made my bulbs useless. Edit: I was able to connect the bulbs, setting my router wifi to a channel below 10. Koogeek should include this info.
Piece of junk, I had to rely on my old iphone to setup the wifi in between android sync to the device. The app here cannot send the configuration properly.
Will not work with android. Spent two hours and still not working. IPhone. No problem. Total scam saying it would work with android. I see all the replies saying please send a video of the problem They are aware of the problem. Brutal
Response to support: I never said KS1, I said SK1, the light socket one. I'm using a 2.4 Ghz only network without any luck. I could register these in an iPhone without any problem, but even when using the same account on the android app, no accessory appears at all. You just don't care about your android app. Unable to connect my P1 or SK1 using this app. The SK1 doesn't even appear in the add list of the app, even thou the official Q&A of the products indicates that you can use Koogeek home for android to control it.
Works OK. But firmware update consistently fails. Also lights turn on quickly but dim very slowly, they take 10 seconds to turn off dimming down.
The app and or Product which is compatywith Google assistant will not sync with Google assistant nor the Google play app i have followed all of the instructions properly idk what's up. It syncs with IOS app fine. Just not Google's
Cannot update firmware, tried android update fails. Borrowed iOS device update option not available. Contacted support, 4 days later no response. I want these DM02CN dual dimmer devices to work with Google home. Please get your support team to respond to these issues.
I can't connect to the smart P1EU in any way. When I try to add the device it says that it asks for WiFi permission infinite times even if I allow the permission. And the App then crashes. I've tried resetting the device and it hasn't worked neither. Pretty annoying. It works just on my friend's iPhone...
