in less vague terms: kosm is an abstract audio sequencer. Whereas the convention is to align musical events in perfect time slots and at a given pitch, kosm triggers audio via gravity and mass.
as it is an application running on a mobile device / tablet you might want to try the usual suspects: tapping the screen at different lengths
- perhaps pinching -, changing the angle of the device, experimentation is key, you can influence this world of orbs, leaving less to chance or chaos.
depending on your experiments, the gentle macrobiotic sounds can quickly unfold into mayhem more reminiscent of giant planets colliding. as such, kosm is best enjoyed with headphones as the sounds go pretty deep.

I like sine waves as much as the next guy but c'mon at least let us play with the delay time or give us some spring physics or gravity between the orbs or something. You tease us with the waveshapes, can you let us draw our own waveshape?

This looks all sorts of great but it's a sound-based app with zero sound coming from it. It needs to be fixed asap.
I am a music composer. To me, this is a very inspirational method of creating music. Lovely interface!

Concept novel squeeze or pinch screen to generate orbs choose waveform and sound effects and record if desired. Problem is, there's no sound.Provide audio feature you get 5stars.

If youre like me and opening up an app and spending ten minutes of your life trying to figure out what this thing does and finding out its another stupid gimic bothers you then dont download this its retarded. Oh i just saw its from the same guy who makes mikrowave dude find another trade it sux too
For pure originality, exciting creativity and great sounds, there's little to touch Kosm in my opinion.
I love it, i cant find the files when i record.
I downloaded it twice and there is no audio at all. The effects and wave forms won't show either. No matter what I tried...the orbs made no sound.
Very cool concept! Well executed! :)
In order to get musicality out of this and not simply textures you will have to learn to master the conditions and the collisions of all these little objects

Reminds me of nodebeats but a more varied tonalities.
I absolutely love this app! Just like this developer's other music app, Microwave, this is a totally unique musical experience. The graphics for it and the color pattern look awesome and futuristic, and it's really cool the different dynamic sounds that you can create inside the application. I would think that no two person's experience and sound inside the app, would be the same. I find a lot of interesting musical instruments on the Market, but most of them don't let you record or export the music you create. But, thankfully this sonic goodness does! And top all of that off with the developer's generosity in making the app free, and you have one pretty sweet package here. My sincere thanks to the dev!

An interesting music thing, but it's easy to miss the instructions which seems to be why most people are saying it makes no sound. If you are one of said people tapping the bottom button should show instructions for the different modes. Otherwise the app works like a planet orbit simulator and collisions make sound.
