KPCC Radio

App constantly stops working! I love and support the station but the app is frustrating! It stops repeatedly and when you hit play again, you've missed the story. Before you could at least back up to the point you had been at but now they've removed that ability. I won't stop listening or supporting the station but I think I'm giving up on the app for now. Please improve it!!

Worst version of the app yet. Freezes all the time and you're forced to hear the same damn add for a pest control company every time you try to launch it again. Why the need to upgrade an app that was working fine is beyond me? Can we go back to the version where you could pause the live stream and go back if you missed something? That was my favorite feature of that app.

Literally the worst app on my phone by a long shot, which is frustrating because I LOVE the radio station, so I have to put up with all the glitches just to get my daily dose of news. Also frustrating because previous versions were not this bad. Please fix it or ditch it!!!

I don't know what they've done to the app, but it's been horrible. It's more difficult to find the shows I want to replay and it shuts down intermittently, something that my other podcast or music apps don't do. PLEASE correct this issue SCPR!

I have been a supporter of kpcc for many years and enjoyed it's programs.However it seems that it has increased its sponsorship messages,ie.lloyd pest control and dignity hospitals. To me they sound like ads. Like the commercial stations. As for streaming, I live in big bear and the reception is bad. I still prefer kpcc over all the other stations and I have to accept that the reception is the price for living in big bear.

Obviously the content on this app is awesome. NPR is fantastic and KPCC is the best of the best. However, the app itself got worse after the update. I can't access my favorite shows anymore. One of my favorite live radio functions, the ability to rewind, has been eliminated. I would love to delete this review and give a better one once the app is updated for the better!! I love KPCC and I want this app to be given the attention it deserves!! Thank you KPCC!

It got better for a few months but today it cuts out every few minutes. So I uninstalled. Prior review: cuts out all the time, very unreliable. fir some reason it does not get fixed. i reinstall, restart phone, nothing helps. they don't seem to care

After you hit "play", if you minimize the app or turn off your screen, the radio won't actually play until you go back into the app and click "continue". Totally unnecessary. Please fix.

I've adapted to the new version and found how to share stories and jump to different segments of a show. We'll see whether the problem with programs skipping back when the device goes to sleep has been fixed.

Fix the Android app! Constantly stops working. You can clear the cache, reboot the phone, no improvement! Stream stops whether or not you have other apps open on the phone. Very VERY frustrating.

I love KPCC, but the app has its problems. It pauses itself all the time, forcing you to hit the play button to get it going again. It pauses randomly on its own as well as everyone I lock the phone.

Stops frequently regardless of internet connection or signal strength. And for some reason, no NPR app of any kind can handle the switch from Wi-Fi to 4G internet and vis versa. It will either stop all together or play the online ad again.

Great Content but Glitchy. Incredible news source but app often shuts down unexpectedly, and it's very difficult to rewind a program without it shutting off or stalling after a few minutes

I rarely write negative reviews but regrettably this app deserves it. You'd think after 5, maybe even 10, years of publishing an app, KPCC could find a vendor that would make an app that works. This still doesnt. Crashes, buggy, no rewind for when the cell signal drops. We can launch billionaires into space but still can't get an app right. 😔

KPCC has great hosts and local segments. Also appreciate content from APM and NPR. This app has its ups and downs. Upset by removal of rewind. It crashed my phone when it was removed right in the middle of listening. APM morning report comes on right about shower time. Pause was great for that. No wasted water. I am an auto renewing monthly direct contributer to KPCC. I guess my next bump up goes to APM instead so I support their morning report podcast.

Every two minutes, the app stops playing, regardless of the strength of my internet/service. This has occurred over weeks of running this app. Very unreliable app, please fix this!

App won't start ( it used to work beautifully)...just spins. OR it starts and then suddenly stops.Frusrating! I can't even submit a feedback form on the app.

Removed the capability to rewind and play live programming. Now you're stuck listening to the air feed without the capability of starting from the top of the show.

Hate the app. I cant control any of the settings. It goes to sleep every 5 minutes and it doesnt let you have access to any settings much less the sleep settings.

stops playing/ no exit app option, cant get to stop running in background. I love the programming but had to delete from phone.

The content is five stars, though, for an android user, the app is totally unreliable. Please fix this kpcc.
