KPRC Hurricane Tracker

Very informative and easy to use. The notifications are always timely, but I would love it if I could customize the notifications to my hurricane prone region. However, that doesn't detract from my satisfaction with the app.

The app quickly shows the local weather, tropical storms & hurricanes and their projected paths. No pop up ads. Weather broadcast replays too if you want them, and of course it's all free. What's not to like? .

I've used this app for years. It's gotten me through numerous bad storms including Harvey. It stopped working on my Samsung S8. I have reinstalled the app 2X and shut down the phone. The app will open but will shut down when I try to open local radar or hurricane tab. App works fine on my Samsung tablet. Can you help?

If I could give this a -5, I definitely would. Soon as an active storm appeared, you click on the alert & constantly get the error message "failed to load data". Yet continues to send alerts that cant be viewed. I DO NOT recommend this app for anyone who lives in a hurricane or tornado zone. Just recieved an alert about heavy rains & winds...its not even raining here. In fact we are outside. What a joke these idiots are! Wish I could post a video. All hype.

It sends out teaser headlines that are incomplete. Then it won't get you to the rest of the headline/article when you click on the headline. Even the "current" updates are hours or days old. Do not recommend this app.

Best overall fee weather app I've found. There are other good ones but cost money and don't have some of the features this one has. I'm in Florida and still get everything i need from this app. Great job!

Edit: originally i suggested not using the app, it crashed often and rarely ever worked. The app has been updated and I no longer have to use the same app by the same company for the Miami area, I can now use the local app. I've updated the review from a 1 star to a 3. If it stays working I'll give it a 5.

Every time I click on the Watches & Warnings or Storm Tracker tabs, the app crashes. I've uninstalled and reinstalled this app and nothing seems to work. Please fix...

Great hurricane information for the Houston area. Very happy most recent forecasts have been added. Seriously can't think of anything else is want in such an app. Great app! Highly recommend if you live in the Houston / Galveston area!

Piece of junk. The app will shut down at times. Sent them a notice months ago and it still does the same thing. Not only that, they don't update it when something is in the Gulf. Time to uninstall.

The app has not been working correctly recently. Keeps closing when I try to look under different tabs. Have uninstalled/reinstalled twice, still no luck.

I like the information that's given every time I open the app. It shows the cone and the various spaghetti models. I've been downloading this app for a few years now.

It is great to be able to follow the storms. My brother was in the middle of Hurricane Sally last week. He lost his home on Wolf Bay. He was up in the attic with his wife and dogs for 4 hours until I could get someone to rescue him. They are fine and that is what counts. Using hurricane tracker I could give him a play by play of the storm via text messages. It probably helped save his life

Alerts pop up and when I click on them it always says "failed to load data". Need some work. Information is good if it would load properly.

I love this App the first of its kind.It tells and shows Satilite photos of Tropical weather systems moving across the Tropical Region of the Atlantic Basin and watching real-time Storm developments.

this app this season is whack!!!! it was my most resourceful tool last season but this season half the icons dont even load. I'm disappointed. I hope they fix this b4 the bulk of the season.

We love this app. We love KPRC Channel 2- Houston & surrounding areas. Just wish it covered more of our county--Liberty,Texas,Liberty County, Texas. The Trinity River. We are in between Houston & Beaumont, Texas. About 20 miles from Trinity Bay. So our little City/County is close to Galveston Bay area. Hurricane Carla was my first storm experience. My parents were building our 1st home. Course it was badly damaged. We were living in the house when she hit. I was young but i remember it.

I don't like that it doesn't show you the estimated date/time of hurricane path like other apps. I do like the notifications, however.

This has always been my favorite app but now it keeps crashing and is useless. Deleted for now. I hope it comes back in working order.

Very reliable and easy to navigate. Essential for living on Texas coast line.

Lags and opens up third party unwanted ads, does not install on IPAD's that do not have the lastest ISO system. Also, the information is ols and not well displayed. THUMBS DOWN BOO NOT WORTH IT
