Great set-up, the app the clear, beautiful and makes it easy to actually use the recipes. However, it's still lacking options if you have a restricted diet.
Best cooking app ever. Every step is described in detail and very easy to follow. Lot's of different options for specific diets too (like vegetarian, vegan...)
Yet another greedyware that bleeds customers dry ad infinitum with recurring subscription fees and no option to purchase it once and for all. There are several functionally superior competitor products available that can be bought instead of rented, which is why this milkingware has been replaced and uninstalled.
I am still evaluating this app, however I am impressed with both the quality of the interface and with the simplicity of those tasty recipes.
I wish to unsubscribe from the trial as it's not what I'm looking for and the link in the app takes me to a German language site. Please provide me with the English version. Thank you.
Great recipes which are changing daily and weekly! A suggestion would be to add the option for people to make small notes to the recipes in case they make small adjustments and want to remember them.
This cooling app is really great. It is different from other cooking apps by only showing you 3 new recipes each day. You cannot search the whole catalog. This may sound like an disadvantage but in fact this is really nice because you are not overwhelmed with an offering of endless recipes instead you can have a look at the app once a day and save the recipes you like. The visual presentation is really great as well.
I love this app. You can adjust the recipes to different serving sizes, the prep walk-throughs have great pictures, and the food typically is on the healthier side. You get only a few recipes a day, but I feel like that keeps me coming back because I get bogged down with so many recipes to look at on other apps to the point where I eventually stop using them. You can also add all the ingredients onto a shopping list to make things easier. It's really great!
I loved the app and how it developed over the last months. However, I see some room for improvement in usability. For example, the filter button would be helpful for all lists, not just the general overview. Furthermore, it would be helpful if lists could be used as filter criteria, for instance in my list 'sweets' I want to filter on 'cooked' recipes. Also the assignment / removal of a recipe to a list is too cumbersome, this could easily be solved with a multiple selection / unselection.
This is such a great app! It made our life much more convenient. We have been eating a lot healthier and with more variety and cooking has become a lot more fun too. I love that you can easily adjust portions so that you don't have to recalculate the ingredients amount yourself. You can also add all the ingredients to the integrated shopping list which makes meal planning and grocery shopping a lot less stressfull! Recipes are creative and very easy to prepare. I really love this app! :)
Great concept, but bad implementation. Why no push-notifications? I don't remember to check in every day, and you can't look at past recipies. I don't go shopping every day, so it's a complete gamble, whether I see something that I like. You also can't input foods or items you dislike (i.e. due to allergies). Your only options are meat and vegan...
I like the app, the UI is great and the recipes sound delicious. But recently it's become a little unstable. First it didn't start anymore (Error message "something went wrong" which I fixed by reinstalling. Then it froze when I was trying to log in again. It works now but let's see for how long...
I love this app so much, it has improved my cooking experience. Low carb, sweets, drinks, fancy dishes made with the least amount of money possible, you name it. Even if you cannot find all the ingredients, you can easily substitute them with what you can find locally and it still comes out nice. The only bad part is that not all the low carb recipes are as simple as some titles say(low carb dishes are tricky to make on itselves, we all know that) Other than that, 5*
I am not seeing the $6 per month value (or $5). Maybe if it interfaced with grocery delivery services it's be worth it. Also the ability to filter recipes based off number of ingredients. Sometimes just want to keep things simple. Lastly, if it could build plans that minimize waste by using like ingredients, that would be great.
Great app! I used to get overwhelmed with the amount of recipe choices on the internet - this app gives 3 per day + 3 special recipes per week, which makes decision making so much easier. All of the recipes I've cooked (about 12 so far - all vegetarian) have been huge hits! And there's a built in grocery list feature connected to the recipe list - so convenient! Plus, the screen stays on while the recipe directions is open, which makes it easier to cook while getting your hands dirty :).
Its a great app, but it can still be improved to be even better! By simply adding a customizable ingredient blacklist, where users can add ingredients they cant or wont eat. The app should not show recipees with theese ingredients. It is an extention on setting yourself to vegetarian (blacjlisting meat) . Would help people with all sorts of eating disorders like dieabetics, coliaks, and so on. For example i would like to skip anything with tofu or soy in it for reasons i do not wish to share.
I like the app. I waited a little bit until I found a recipe that I wanted to cook, but that was tasty. One option that I would add is for people with allergies. Like a menu point with "thing I definitely can't eat" abd then the app should filter out those dishes which contain that ingredient.
Tasty Recipies and many functions! The "shopping list" feature, where u are able to compare prices for your groceries in different markets, is outstanding! Also, havinh only 3 daily picks, helps making a good choice ^^ But don't forget to save a recipe, because it might be lost on the next day and you are standing in the kitchen, puzzling the ingredients together ;) It would be nice to have a "see yesterday's recipes" feature ;)
This is the only cooking app I use nowadays. You get 3 new recipes daily plus 3 weekly specials. If you create an account then you can fave an unlimited number of recipes and create you own cook book essentially. The recipes are quite easy to follow, I especially like that they include the ingredient amounts needed at each step and that you can set a timer directly from the app. Everything seems well thought out, so keep up the good work guys!
This app solves my "I don't know what to cook" problem!! I am absolutely happy. Critiques: it could have the opportunity to choose for only vegan recipes. And a pretty cool add on could be, to find recipes based on what you have in your fridge, but that's really just a nice to have.
I don't mind that it costs money to use. I really love this app. Just one little thing annoys me. After I pay for the premium version (to actually use the functions) I am still seeing sponsored content. That just feels like I'm paying double. There should be no ads when you have a premium account so I give this app one star. The sponsored content is ads for beer. It's like tip of the day: drink beer. Wow what an original idea.
My favourite cooking app by far. Love how it gives you a different small selection of recipes each day, makes it really easy to choose something tasty to cook. And it is beautifully presented. I also like how it keeps things simple and isn't clogged with loads of features that aren't really needed. Keep it up!
I just wanna say thank you to the people who write the notifications. I find them hilarious and from time to time they unexpectedly make me laugh =)
Great app with yummy, time-efficient and (mostly) healthy recipes. The app has a great selection of vegan and vegetarian recipes that can be cooked without fancy ingredients. I don't use the meal planning option, so I can only speak for the recipe suggestions, which are awesome.
The app comes with the great interface and indication of the cost to cook dishes. But the poor dishes selection is the disadvantage for me. The app suggests dishes that are suitable for a low carb diet. If you eat salads 80% of time then go for it.
The principal is there, and it's a good app for those who already eat healthy I suppose. But here are the issues I have: You can only look at 3 recipes a day, and they usually have very unusual ingredients, making them not the most tasteful dishes for those more picky or those new to eating healthy (such as myself). To make it even worse, in order to view more recipes a day or use literally any function in the app OTHER than looking at recipes: it costs you $60 a month
Great recipes-App could be improved. Every day 3 new recipes, that's okay. But I don't always feel right that moment for what's suggested. The app has no search function or general recipe library. You can safe for yourself up to 25 recipes, but that's not much. And no print possibility. Pity, the app is great apart from the above mentioned, but I won't keep it cause of it's very constricted usage.
Great way to get inspiration for what to cook with options for carnivores and herbivores. There's no vegan option yet, BUT there are a lot of vegan recipes around, if you choose vegetarian. When you've found something to your liking there are thorough and illustrated instructions. Clear recommendation from yours truly.
Finally an app where you can really cook the recipes every day! No fancy ingredients or difficult step! Everything is good about it: the low number of recipes daily does not make it overwhelming to choose what to eat, the shopping list with the ingredients from the nearest supermarket, the fact that the recipes are mega tasting and the good quality pictures that attract the eye. Well done!
